This is a delightful wintertime romance that hearkens back to the movie The Prince & Me. Down-on-her-luck Melissa literally runs into prince-in-disguise Ray. The two hit it off, she brings him as a fake boyfriend to a fancy Christmas Ball to make her ex jealous. There is also the classic "oh no! we're snowed in and there's only one bed!" trope that all romance readers love. Overall, just a really cute book that made me think of watching Hallmark movies while curled up with some hot cider.

If you are looking for a Christmas story that will sweep you off your feet then this is the book for you MS Singh has written a beautiful romantic story filled with emotion and all of those special feels that romance readers look for, sit back and get ready to meet Ray Saibbi and Melinda Osman as we tour Boston and fall in love.

Mel is working as a waitress for the Perlman sisters she has been through a divorce and lost a lot during that time, so when an invitation to the Mayoral Holiday ball arrives there is no way she wants to go but the sisters are insistent that she does. After shopping and on her way home she is literally swept off her feet during an accident and has her meeting with the handsome Ray the man that will change her life.

Prince Rayhan is in America on business for the Royal family and he is keeping the fact that he is a Prince to himself, because this will probably be the last time he has to enjoy life as a single man, but when he meets the beautiful Mel his heart takes its own direction as he tours Boston with her and takes her to the ball. The time comes when he must choose Mel or duty to his kingdom.

This is such a fairy tale story one that had me turning the pages, cheering both Mel and Ray on throughout and smiling, it really was a joy to read, MS Singh has bought the characters to life on the pages, and the Perlman sister they are so good and add so much to the story. I can highly recommend this story, it has all of the emotions to make this a must read

This one started out promising with Melinda and Ray meeting in exciting accidental fashion but it lost momentum along the way, it felt like they needed more conflict, not necessarily with each other, I did like that they’re mostly kind with each other and he isn’t an overly bossy alpha type, just more conflict in their lives might have helped, like maybe seeing Melinda truly fighting to get her money back or something, it felt like this needed more going on than just waiting on the impending revelation that he’s royal and kept her in the dark about it.

While I found Melinda a likable heroine there were aspects of her character, I struggled with like given that this woman was recently betrayed by her husband, it seemed questionable that she wouldn’t have immediately googled Ray to find out more about him. If your trust had been broken and some guy told you he works for the royal family of a country you’ve never heard of, wouldn’t your first thought be this is some kind of line he uses or a scam or something? Melinda immediately buying in felt off, it seemed like someone in her position would be more skeptical and cautious than she behaved towards Ray. I also had a hard time with how weepy she became over a guy she knew for all of three days, I don’t know, that reaction, letting herself be that emotionally invested in someone she doesn’t know after being robbed by her ex, it just seemed like Melinda needed a therapist in that moment more than she needed a new man in her life.

If you’re able to suspend disbelief over how long it takes Melinda to be curious about Ray’s story and you’re in the mood for a romance with minimal obstacles and a sprinkling of seasonal activities like skating, playing in the snow and Winter dances, maybe this one will work a little better for you than it did for me.

Prince Rayhan Al Saaibb has a dilemma, his father the King wants him to marry and has paraded lovely women in front of him so he chooses, it is his royal duty. Not ready to do that, he asks for time away pursuing property for the kingdom and time to think. Melinda Osmon is working in a diner to try and make ends meet since her divorce and her ex taking all her money. There is a Mayors ball that her friends want her to attend to show her ex she is thriving without him. Not wanting to she says if she finds a dress for the little money she has she will attend. On her journey back she is forced to the road by a bicyclist and a man in a car comes to her aid. He feels responsible and tries to help her out. From here on he keeps his identity a secret and fills in taking her to the ball. What neither expected was the feelings that starts to grow between them and before long Meli is in love with Ray. When he has to leave and tell her the truth she is broken but his future is mapped out for him and it doesn't include her. Can they a Prince and a waitress find love and happiness? Will they have the opportunity despite what should be. Ms. Singh gives them a wonderful HEA but that you will have to read to find out. Lovely story that leaves you with a smile.

A delightful holiday read! Secrets might be allowing this relationship to grow, but it doesn’t hinder the connection the two characters have with each other. The secondary characters were a fun addition as well and kept me smiling. Satisfying!

Waitress Melinda Osmon is dreading accepting her yearly invitation to a charity ball. She has always loved attending, but this year her cheater ex is going to be attending with his new fiancee, and she can’t stand thinking about the humiliation! When a gorgeous stranger enters her life at just the right time, she begins to think things might be looking up!

Crown prince of Verdovia, Rayhan al Saibbi is having one last undercover dalliance in before he has to settle in to his future structured lifestyle. When he stumbles across Mel, he can’t help but be drawn in by her. A momentary distraction turns into much more as he lives his little make-believe life for as long as he can squeeze in before duty calls.

Novel in a nutshell - after a mysterious stranger (Ray) helps her following a traffic accident, Mel finds herself growing closer to the man and enlists him to accompany her to a Christmas ball, with the inention of making her ex jealous. Mel also helps Ray to view suitable local real estate, which she understands he is looking to purchase for the company he works for. What Mel doesn't realise is thay Ray is actually a Prince...how will Mel feel when the truth comes out, and will their budding relationship be able to grow?

My review - In all honesty I'm ususally not a fan of romances that include royalty from far flung lands, and I usually avoid them at all costs, but as this book was a 2-in-1 deal I gave it a try, and thankfully really enjoyed it! As Ray was hiding his royal connections for most of the book, it avoided all of the royal rigmarole that I hate! All in all, this was a well written, sweet romance.

"Christmas with Her Secret Prince" by Nina Singh was so good that I picked it up and didn't put it down. It is a fairly quick, clean, romantic read. Little does Melinda (Mel) Osman know that the man who helped her and has become a part of her life is a real life Prince. Crown Prince Rayhan (Ray) al Saibbi is learning all about New England at Christmas time through the eyes of Mel. Even her swarmy ex husband is realizing that she has much to offer. Keep reading and find out what happens in their story. I loved it.

This was adorable. A quick read, with characters that were easy to like and a fast paced plot... even a Cinderella story woven in. Fun, holiday romance!

I wanted to like this book because I liked the storyline, but 1) how is a freaking prince allowed to wander around without his bodyguard most of the time, 2) how is there almost no one who recognizes him when we're told he's in the tabloids, and 3) the writing style is at best mediocre. Just didn't work for me.
