2.5 stars - Almost a DNF. Clunky storytelling for all chapters except Horatius. Will be looking for a more engaging and more heavily illustrated Roman myth/legend book, this one was disappointing.
This book is a great book for those who struggle with reading and understanding of mythology. It is nice and short. It contains very brief descriptions and details of the Roman myths and legends. It is also a great book for those who really don't like reading mythology because of the brief, but informational text. It is part of an "ignite" series. The series has African, Norse, and Egyptian myth books also in the titles.
I think it was pretty awesome. If I didn't already know about the Roman Gods then it would have been pretty hard for me. It was great to learn about the roman myths. I think it even talked about Romulas and Remus. I think one of the storys was about some sort of monster that ate people and put their heads on poles outside of his cave. I think it's pretty gross.
