This is a fabulous introduction to using protocols in the classroom. #VTED teachers should check this book out for an introduction to teaching transferable skills using structures that help students collaborate, think, and demonstrate their learning. The authors clearly outline the purposes of each protocol and the habits they develop. And the share scaffolds to help students improve at the skills required for meaningful collaborative discussions. Highly recommend for educators K-12 and beyond.
