Great book. The way to go if you want to learn italic calligraphy and handwritting or general concepts on calligraphy and book design. There is a TV program on YouTube by Lloyd Reynolds, which is the perfect companion for the book. It boosts your creativity!

Well written. A helpful guide to learning this now almost forgotten art. I learned lettering in high school so this was a refresher for me. The exercises helped me retrain my hand with some of the finer qualities of letterin.
