Well worth the extra wait!

My heart broke for Gram in Act of Passion (Malik's story) , when the woman and her child who he was in love with reconnected with her true mate, and left poor Gram absolutely heartbroken.

After saving Brooke's daughter Bethany from an explosion in Act of Passion, both Gram and his wolf were left broken, his body wouldn't heal properly and he just couldn't get out of this funk he found himself in, even though he was happy for Brooke.
So an intervention was needed! And who was the one to organize such a thing??! None other than our lovable shifter Striker (God help him! lol)
He arranges to have his cousin's the McCracken twins Mac and Car, to help out and what a pair these two are, they make Striker look like an angel.
Their plan is to knock Gram out, kidnap him and take him to a spa resort that caters to everything for the supernatural, and I mean Everything. But not only is, All what it seems at the spa, but we have the lovable Bill and Gus return, already at the spa causing havoc, but ready to give a helping hand, and some fantastic humour.

Everyone thinks Amelia and her younger sister Andie are just human, and the only reason that she is still around is because her father (an evil mad cult leader) has foreseen that she will tempt the Bringer into the "Flock".
Amelia doesn't know what exactly she is, but she does know she is a lot of everything paranormal, and all she wants is to protect Andie from their father and the members of The Flock. A plan is in place for the pair to run away in the next 48 hours, but what Amelia didn't expect was a big spanner being thrown into the works.
At first Amelia can't and tries at first to refuse to understand why she feels so drawn and safe with this very sexy, very broken, but very alpha male Scottish stranger.

As with all Mandy M Roth's books you can't just read a little here and there, you have to make sure you have an uninterrupted afternoon (or hell will pay lol), but Mandy fill's the book to the brink with humour, love, romance, sexual innuendo's and encounters, a fantastic fight scenes and every PNR need "The HEA".

Loved this book which was filled with funny characters along with intense, dangerous and steamy moments. Healing the Wolf turned out to be one of my contenders for top reads of 2018!! Things that stick from this story-- Gram finds what he needs, Striker's wardrobe, and Amelia is more than she comes off as. Gram and Amelia make a great couple!!! This is one fabulous read!! I cant wait for the next book in this series.

My Rating: 4.5 stars *****

Meant to be a family

Whenever I pick up a book from this series I just know it’s going to be the best of both worlds and a book that I can’t put down. The characters in this one are amazing, a blending of characters I already love and new ones that touch my heart. Bill, Gus and the twins have brought their slapstick humor, mischief, and mayhem to the journey wreaking havoc and breaking hearts along the way. The outcasts and Armand have come together to be there when they are needed most and Gram finds what he needs to be whole. I love that Gram gives Amelia the chance to find the strength she has always had and the courage to use it. This book is full of the excitement and danger I have come to expect from this series and makes me anxious to read the next one. It’s sure to be every bit as good as the rest and I can’t wait!

Very enjoyable

I really loved Gram and Amelia and their story. The only thing I didn't like was the feeling of the ending being too rushed. There was just so much left unexplained. But I love this world and can't wait for the next book.

Healing the Wolf
Shadow Agents Book 3
Mandy M. Roth

Well, if you have been following along then you will recognize Gram from Act of Passion (Tutts story)
Gram Campbell – wolf shifter
His body, heart and soul have been broken beyond repair. The family he devoted himself to have been taken away from him, Brooke was reunited with her true mate Tutt. Trying to protect Brooke and Tutts daughter he was blown up litterly.
Well, our favorite Scottsman Striker has decided that it is time for an intervention to help with Gram's healing.
He enlists help from his crazy McCracken cousins to help kidnap Gram and take him to a spa that caters to paranormal beings. (No one writes about the lovely Scott's quite the way she does).
The spa unknown to them is not quite what it appears to be though.
Amelia Fabius grew up in a cult, her father is the cruel, sadistic leader of the compound.
This compound just happens to be the very spa that Gram is being taken to, one she is desperately trying to escape from.
There is a serial killer in the area, so dropping him off on the way works for the team. They can help search for the killer while Gram heals his wolf and body.
I guess you can figure out what happens when Gram gets there, he senses his true mate.
Can Gram and Amelia heal each other before things get crazy and danger closes in?
We are reunited with some old friends while meeting some new ones as well.
If you are new to Mandy Roth then you are in for a real treat! Her books are very addicting. Kind of like the old chip commercial (you can't eat just one), Well you can't read just one. Once you start you just can't stop.
Her series is one of very few that I can honestly say I will re-read over and over.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

PSi - Op and Shadow Agent Gram was seriously injured while saving Bethany the little girl of Brooke whom he thought they could marry and become a family because he believed he would never find a fated mate of his own because they are rare although his fellow agents have found theirs. He is not healing as he should be and he is all scarred up from the explosion. He and his wolf have also had a disconnection. So Stryker has him kidnapped and deposited into a Healing spa.

Amelia only wants to save her sister Andie and herself from her father's cruel cult for supernaturals, he runs a spa where he offers healing techniques in addition to their sexual appetites. She is trained in how to please a man and does her best to avoid the men of her father's inner circle aka "The Flock". She is to get the "Bringer" into the fold of the Flock.

The "Bringer" turns out to be Gram, the man she discovers to be the man she had be dreaming about. Gram too has had dreams and visions and even sees things while he fights with his wolf. He finds his mate in Amelia, while getting a massage.

Can these two get past their inner demons, fears and shortcomings to find happiness. I'm not revealing anymore than i have just know that I was entertained, emotional and thoroughly engrossed in the story. Ms. Roth once again gets a high five for her creativity, world building and some hot sexy book boyfriends. I am a well pleased happy camper. Step in to Ms. Roth's world and discover magic, passion, drama and romance.

I voluntarily read an advance copy and have not been compensated in any way for this opinion.

Graham was tired. Tired of not healing after being poisoned by the Corp. during a mission. He was tired of sitting around wondering if he would ever be whole again. The team wasn't sure what to do to change things. He was healing, just very slowly. Nothing like the normal shifter healing. Leave it to Striker to initiate an intervention. When he can't do it himself he has a fallback plan. What a plan!

His change of scenery includes a high-class spa with gorgeous women who should ignite him. There is so much that happens. I can't tell a lot without spoilers. Trust me, we meet some characters new to me, and some old friends. Deciding who is the most out there would take a lot of thought. Of course, the interruptions of laughter while reading makes that hard. There will be Jack@$$ of the month contenders. Then we have the bad guys and these are right up there on the list.

Graham lost out on the family he thought he'd have. Will he get another chance? Will he be willing to try again?

I know when I read any Ops book, I'm going to love it. This one is special. These strong, loyal, alphas are not mentally equipped to be weak. Watching Graham and his guys help him work through his pain and emotional struggle is new and touching. I did love it and now in a few months (I hope) I'll reread by listening to the audible version.

Don't miss it.

Mandy Roth - Healing the Wolf: Paranormal Security and Intelligence Ops Shadow Agents : Part of the Immortal Ops World (Shadow Agents/PSI-Ops Book 3)

Gram Campbell was a significant secondary character in the Book Act of Passion, Tutt’s story. In that great story Gram unfortunately had his heart broken and now we get his story.
Not only was his heart broken but he has been injured and taking an unusually long time to heal. His teammate Striker and two cousins decide Gram needs to go to a special “resort/medical spa” where he can rejuvenate physically and mentally.

Unaware of the true mission of this resort, Gram grudgingly agrees to go. This “resort” is actually a cover for a huge cult run by an egotistical man who claims to be a god, Cal.
Amelia, one of the daughter’s of the cult leader has been fearing for her and her sister’s lives. She finally plans an escape when she is sent to attend Gram. Now she accept that Gram is her true mate and that will complicate her escape plans.

This is a very dangerous cult consisting of paranormal of power and abusive rituals and rules. The book is a fast paced suspenseful action packed story that has heart racing while at the same time it is truly very very funny. A good long book with great secondary characters, world building and five stars just for Gram getting his HEA with a very cool female.

We first met Smexy Alpha Wolf Shifter Gram Campbell in Act of Passion. He was willing to give everything to protect some special people in his life. Now he’s struggling to recover from the injuries he sustained and get back on his feet again. When some fellow PSI fellas (led by The McCraken crew) get the grand idea to kidnap Gram and try to force him into some much-needed rest and relaxation at spa. Gram ends up with more than he bargained for.

Amelia Fabius, is doing her best to stay off the radar of a mad man, aka her father. After seeing her mother murdered, Amelia vowed that she would protect her little sister and get her to safety. Always being watched, she has been carefully planning her escape since that horrible day. When a mysterious man enters the spa all of Amelia’s plans may need to change.

When these two come together, aided by some lively characters you know there’ll never be a dull moment. If you haven’t read the PSI-Ops books yet, your missing out! If you love sexy alpha-shifters, spirited heroines, steamy action, and snarky humor this is the series for you. Can’t wait to see what’s still to come for our favorite Alphas!
Spoiler alert:

Gram finally gets his HE!

Omg I just love this series!
Gram Campbell is an immortal ops agent who was hurt he is healing to slowly from life threatening injuries at classified psi division. He is having visions of a woman in a white he can even smell her but she is not there and he thinks he losing his mind. It does not help that his well meaning ops friends kidnapped him for some fun time out of the hospital when he does not want to go. Lol

Denver Colorado
Amelia lives in a compound full of cult members. She and her 4 year old baby sister are not like them. She loves to work in the garden and greenhouse. Anything to do with healing and herbs. Amelia just has to save her sister from her father who runs the cult that also doubles as a spa to get people in and the crazy cults members that live there.

Can't give anything more away but omg this was awesome and not to be missed. It has everything action, danger, betrayal, drama, spice, fun , craziness and so much more. The characters are fantastic and thier interaction are fantastic. They amazing written. I didn't want this story to end and it one I will be rereading it that great.
Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.

OMG I loved this book. I think it is my favorite yet! Warning: Striker and his twin cousins as well as Bill and Gus are in it so be careful when you eat or drink. I laughed my tail off. Gram offered up some humor as well. I didn't think he had it in him. I love watching these big alpha men meet their mates and fall hard! This book has it all. Humor, heat, violence, and a healthy does of alpha. Who will win the a$$hole of the week award?
There is more to Amelia then meets the eye, she must hid who she truly is from her sicko sperm donor. He gets no love from me. She is loving and will do anything to keep her sister safe.
Gram has been unable to heal, even with everything the doctors are doing. His wolf has basically said see ya and is hiding out. What will it take for his wolf to come out and play? His mate, of course. I love the dance these two do and their hard fought for HEA.

Gram finally gets a HEA. The poor man has been through the wringer. Loved and Lost his ready made family and then got blown up to add insult to injury.

Now his inner wolf is causing him problems and he is not healing as he should. Enter Stryker, he's going to given Gram a "retreat" that he'll never forget!!!! What's more worrying is that Stryker has kin and compared to them he is a choirboy. Scary but true!

Bill and Gus from the Outcasts are also let loose at the retreat (OMG I almost wet myself laughing at their escapades). There are also some newer characters reintroduced including Cody the were-shark, ye you read that right a shark!

Amelia and Andie are just so sweet. Andie is definitely more than the cute as a button 4yr old we see. Amelia is a green fingered goddess but she also hides some major kick ass magic. You will love to loathe Cal and lets just say that mayhem and madness seem to be the go to plan for the lads!

Truly fab addition to the series!

I have hurt for Gram since Tuts book , where Gram lost the family he had been in for years but he knew she wasn't his mate but it still hurt , not only that but he was not healing right from the injuries he sustained saving said family.
Now he is kidnapped by Striker. Striker needs a mate to take him a little , and Strikers twin cousins , throw in Bill and Gus , a cult and a man who is more than not human and it makes for a very action packed book did I forget to mention finding his mate and her little sister who didnt yall until he came to her , or the fact that his mate is the most bad ass mate I have met to this date in this series.
Yes you have got to read this book!!!!

I loved this book filled with funny Characters intense & dangerous moments Healing the Wolf turned out to be one of my all times favorite reads this year. Gram was sure he would never find love again, and Amelia was no way wanting any form of love or what her father had planned for her. Can't stop what the fates had planned for these two and boy are they in for one heck of a ride. And can't forget the battle at the end and those two wacky wild guys who have been popping up in different books thought this series I really have a soft spot for those two.....and where ever they are your sure to have trouble close at their heels

A very entertaining well written story.
I love the PSI Ops books. What I love most it that each one is different. Some of the main characters are in each book so you feel like you know them and their familiar but not the storyline, that’s always different and very entertaining.
In this well written story you have Gram who was recently hurt and isn’t healing the way he should. But it wasn’t just his body that was hurt but him mind as well. A few of the guys do a intervention and send him to a “resort” that turns out to be something else.
Some of the outcast are also in this book, which just amps up the comedy.
I highly recommend this book!

If your like me then you've been reading this series for a long time now and you've read the many spin-offs as well, but if you've been under a rock for the better part of 5yrs then you might've missed a few things. First Wow Gram is uber alpha times 3 and I loved it, Second you have to feel for the guy I mean he was in love with the mate of someone else lost her and was badly injured so you want to see this guy have a HEA, Lastly can his mate be anymore perfect for him. I loved this book it was amazing, now if the next book in the series can be everyone's favorite Vamp all will be right in my world.

Gram was injured two books ago saving a child he hoped would become his step-daughter. Shifters usually heal immediately but he was injected with something that stopped his healing abilities. A compound has been found to jumpstart his healing but it caused him hallucinations of a woman in white. To get him out of his funk, his friends kidnapped him from the infirmary and he's now in a spa for rest and recovery. Unbeknownst to any of them, it's a front for a cult whose leader prophesied his coming as the Bringer of Change. As Gram finds his woman in white, he'll definitely change things.

Just didn’t enjoy the cult plotline.
I loved Gram getting his mate so quickly, as it was not his fault what happened with Brooke.
The fact he gets a mate and a daughter at the same time was great.
I thought Andie the young sister was sweetly precocious.
The crazy Scottish twin cousins as new characters was fun.
Having Bill and Gus be in this was a surprise and I just couldn’t understand why they were in this book.
I just hated the whole cult idea. I found it ridiculously over the top and unbelievable.
The ending with Amelia’s father was just over too quickly and everything to do with The Flock was too simply dealt with.

Woosh! I’m not sure I’ve felt this strongly about a couple for a while in the series. There was just so much to this story that I couldn’t put it down. It seemed like there was a little of everyone represented in the story. And just a little more backfill for the Outcasts and their stories. There were some laugh out loud moments and some more intense ones. You could really tell that the Ms. Roth had dug deep into some research for pieces of the story. Now that Gram has had his match, I’m still holding out for Striker!

There's never a slow moment in his book. Fast paced throughout with intense action and more than a few laughs. The twins are prime fodder for a chuckle. Gram finds what he needs to heal. In the most unlikely place and under duress. I loved this book from page one until the awesome ending. Striker's wardrobe is a hoot with his t-shirts. Do yourself a favor and read this one. I couldn't put it down and not much got done for a day and a half!

Amazing, brilliant and of course still had some humor. You will find many of the characters within from all of her other series. I have to say from all of the books in her Ops, PSI and Outcast series, this one by far is my favorite to date. Gram on the mend, with wily antics from striker and his unruly Colorado cousins, total wow factor. Looking forward to many more writings in this and other series as well.

I was worried about Gram after the last book but he is doing great!! Now. I really love Gus and Bill! They make the books that much better. I love that Amelia was trying to get herself and Andie free. She is very brave. She is totally awesome. Gram is confused. It takes a little bit for him to realize what he has stumbled upon. What he has always wanted. Need more ops plesae

Intense story

Wow!! Mandy rocks! The research she did for this story sure makes it realistic! Grahm is shanghied to go to a spa. His buddies want to see him get better, but little did they know that his mate is there and part of a cult of immortals that worship her father who is the twisted leader!
Wow! The characters characters are outstanding along with the intensity there is humour melded into the story!! Grahm is so believable and endearing! Can't wait for the next book!!

This is a good continuation of the PSI OPS World. While there were characters present and mentions of characters from previous books, they did not overtake the story as sometimes happens. They gave just enough to remind us of where they come from and what they are working towards (and to offer comic relief).
The passion is sizzling and the storyline is fastpaced and interesting.
This makes me thirsty for more.

Reviewed at Paranormal-y Romantic

Healing the Wolf is the third title in the Shadow Agents series, which is part of the Immortal Ops Universe of connected series. We first met Gram in Malik’s “Tutt” and Brooke’s story in Act of Passion which is part of the PSI Ops connecting series. He is an honorable man and a wounded man both emotionally and physically right now. He had loved Brooke and her adorable daughter, Bethany… but he wasn’t her true fated mate. When Malik was reunited with Brooke and the daughter he never knew about it was in the middle of great danger to everyone involved. Gram was physically injured, burned while saving Bethany’s life. And being the honorable man he is, stepped aside when Brooke’s mate and love re-entered their lives…with promises of retribution and a threat of keeping a close eye on Malik to ensure the ladies he loved were happy and loved. So, to say that Gram has had a bad year is quite an understatement… and it’s about to get even more interesting.

I love the characters of this combined world and the ways that they “help” each other, especially when times are rough. When Striker, his twin cousins, along with Bill and Gus stage an intervention of sorts (with all the hilarity that only that bunch of guys can provide) and book Gram into a recovery spa vacation, well, let’s just say Gram isn’t the happiest of campers and he is about to find the mate he was convinced he’d never meet.

The spa where Gram will be reluctantly recovering isn’t at all what it appears on the surface. Run by a sadistic, insane cult leader, this place is a hotbed of danger, sadistic actions on the parts of the leader, and his unique crew of cruel enforcers who do harm wherever possible while waiting for the “Bringer” to appear in their midst. To the world at large, and especially to their father and his “Flock”, Amelia and her younger sister Andie appear quite human. The fact that Amelia is far from human but has a combination of paranormal abilities is something she’s kept deeply hidden. She and Andie were just about to escape this place when Gram arrives and the knowledge of fated mates becomes very clear to them both.

Sometimes a villain will just make my skin crawl. Yeah, this sadistic cult leader gave me that feeling from his first appearance in Healing the Wolf, and it just got stronger the deeper into the book I got. The things that this vile man demanded of his family, his followers, the innocents brought into this “Flock” are beyond evil. Equally vile are his enforcers, and I was never happier when any of them got taken down hard by Gram. I loved Amelia, she’s strong while leary of those around her, her trust is hard to win but once she gives it she is unshakeable, and her love, protection of Andie is love in its truest form. She is equal to Gram in all ways, and together they are a formidable team.

Healing the Wolf is full of action, danger, laughter, sexy moments, tensions that are off the chart at times. Gram and Amelia’s story is one of my favorites from this combined set of series. If you love a good Paranormal Romantic Suspense with characters who will keep you reading to find out what happens next, then you’ll want to step into this world.

I own a Kindle edition of this title.
