Mysterious claimings, kidnappings, and disasters are occurring the world over. Sara McKay knows that can only mean one thing--the fata, magical beings from the planet Hecate intent on ruling Earth, are growing stronger.

With the help of their pneumas, benevolent fata souls residing inside Sara and her sisters Lily and Evelyn, the McKay witches of Ireland prepare for war.

However, with Sara no longer playing peacekeeper between Lily and Evelyn, strong insecurities stemming from Sara's past make a reappearance in her life. Once the most powerful triplet, she struggles to master the lifesaving skills the pneumas introduce and fully integrate with the supernatural soldiers flocking to Fern Cottage.

Will Sara's instability help Noro and King Dimia drive a wedge between the triplets the fata forces can exploit? Or will Sara's issues be just the thing the Triplet Army needs to win an otherworldly war?

This Finale Broke Me!! 😭😭 Easy 5 Star Rating 🌟 Completely Unmissable!!💕

Wow, this trilogy has been amazing but this book, this book broke me!! I don't cry that often reading books but this had me in tears so many times it's ridiculous!😢 Happy tears, empathetic tears, ragey tears & devastated gutt wrenching tears and I Loved every second of it 😍💖

In this book the three sisters are finally all in sync, mostly. They hope their Pneuma's are going to help them beat the Fata but they haven't managed to communicate with them as yet! As information is gathered and correlated it becomes clear that they now need to build & train their own Army of Supernatural's!!😳 This war is coming & much sooner than they realised 😕

Much of this book is based around family - blood & chosen, friendships, love - romantic & other, but above all, its about protecting Earth & the Humans from becoming enslaved & used by the power hungry Fata's!! 🌎 The bonds made throughout each book reach their pinnacle & it's emotional!!😉

I don't want to write spoilers so I'm loathe to say more but this my first 5 star review for this Author & my goodness she deserves it. The writing is perfect, pace is sublime and the emotional ups & downs are outstanding, Her descriptive writing style is wonderful & the amount of research must've been mind blowing!! 💥

Birth & Death are the only guarantee's of life 🙏💕

I'm sitting here wondering just how to write this review so everyone knows just how awesome this final book in Ashley McLeo's trilogy was.
After I finished I was just like wow that final fight scene was just breathtaking, sad and oh so magical all at once I likened it to the final fight scene in the last Harry Potter book it was just that good.

I laughed, I cried and I wished there was more which is always a great reaction to have to a book, I've also moved this trilogy to my must be re-read every year pile which again tells you just how much I simply adored Rising of Three.

Most of the time in a series I will always say the first book is my ultimate favourite but in this trilogy I am hands down saying book 3 Rising of Three is my ultimate favourite. This story is so jammed packed without being totally overwhelming, there are so many threads to tie together and Ashley McLeo does that just brilliantly, there is more than enough action, adventure and magic with a dose or 2 of blissful happiness tossed in with some sadness as well, so basically you get the full gamut of emotions while your reading.

A Marvelous, Magical read.

Rising of Three is in my opinion, the best of the series. Ashley McLeo has blossomed into a name to watch out for in the indie NA Fantasy world with a finale full of family and sisterly bonding, danger and suspense, as well some heartbreak and a satisfying ending to a long journey for three sisters.

Continuing from Souls of Three, Lily, Evelyn and Sara must continue their training in order to defeat the fata, who’s presence is more apparent than ever and threaten to end the world as we know it. While the sisters aren’t exactly fighting for their lives for the entire story, there’s a lot of character depth and bonding, either forming new ones or enhancing the ones that were already there. I especially like that Sara is now struggling to keep up as her sisters have caught up and has to deal with that. Evelyn still has a lot of physical and mental recovery from Souls of Three, while Lily’s arc is mostly focused on her bond with some of the others. I love seeing these sisters grow and handle the final battle.

There’s some parts that drag a bit early on (I was hoping for just a bit more in that capture the flag sequence!), but other than that, it’s a fast paced story, especially compared to the previous two books, containing six PoVs this time (though only Lily, Evelyn and Sara get more than one chapter). The prose, outside of some small battle portions, is more or less choppy free and flows really well, encapsulating the suspense in the fighting as well as growing closer when not fighting.

As fitting for a finale, all of the elements of the first two books come together to tie everything up, and was full of some heartbreak and satisfaction. Though there was a single element where I felt underwhelmed, mostly that the battle could have been a bit more epic and dramatic. But it was a mostly satisfying ending.

A great finale from this series of magic and sisterly bonding.

Ashley McLeo has created a fantastic finale to her Starseed Trilogy! With writing skills that make the characters as true to life as the people next door and as magical as only her unique imagination can create, Ashley's books keep reader's rapt attention from first page till last and anxiously awaiting her next book. Her work never disappoints and Rising of Three is no exception!

With Lily, Evelyn and Sara back in Ireland at their mother's cottage after rescuing Evelyn from Noro, the leader of the aliens (fata), the triplets prepare to hone their magic skills while they have the chance. They may have gotten Evelyn back, and won the battle but they know Noro won't give up his plans to conquer Earth. Their home may be protected, but ordinary people may be suffering attack already!

Evelyn is still suffering herself. Not only has her body been badly injured, she still suffers from her betrayal by the only man she ever loved. Still she is determined to become stronger magically, not only to protect Earth, but for vengeance if opportunity arises.

Lily also has extra reasons to fight. She is falling in love. Fighting for a chance to have a future with the demon boyfriend she met before her sister's rescue, gives Lily all the extra incentive she needs to win the coming battle.

Sara, used to being the calming influence in the middle, now feels conflicted, facing feelings from her past. It is hard trying to practice and get better when she can't even center in herself. Will they be able to gain the strength they need to win?

Join the sisters on their journey to the epic final battle to determine Earth's fate. Will human's remain a free race? Can magic prevail? Get your copy now!

I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received a free copy of this book directly from Ms. McLeo. Thank you so much Ashely, this is my review.

I thought this was a wonderful wrap up to this series. There was a lot of strategic planning, love, heartbreak, drama and fighting. There is a lot of mythology and fantasy within this series and it all culminates with this final novel. I feel like this ending is satisfying for anyone reading that is invested with these characters. I can't wait to read more from Ashley!

Congrats on a brilliant conclusion to your first series <3 !

In Rising of Three, the final book of the Starseed Trilogy, McLeo gives us an intense journey, spine-tingling action, and an epic ending.

Like the first two books, McLeo has an extensive cast of characters and the reader must pay attention as she weaves them in and out of the story. The main characters are all focal points in this final chapter of the trilogy. Each sister comes into their own as powerful witches, strong women, and magical beings but their arcs are not without pitfalls, betrayals, and other conflicts.

In book three we get a deeper look into the fata, the dark otherworldly creatures determined to take over and rule the earth. These magical beings are interesting, exciting, and creative antagonists and add a unique element to a story already full of magical creatures and supernaturals.

The story builds to a final climax, tying together the two worlds and the sister’s heritage nicely as McLeo ends her trilogy in a page-turning, heart-stopping way. If you like dark, urban fantasy The Starseed Trilogy is a must!

This is book three of The Starseed Trilogy and the triplet sisters have a battle coming, as they discover the fata have been enslaving people and using them to power their full potential. They may have made the error of letting loads of fata through the portal, but these were all thought to be too weak to be a danger and they would have enough time to prepare for whatever might come their way. Unfortunately, there is a group of seven original fata, who have been on Earth for millennium and are too powerful for any of the three sisters to overcome. Evelyn is still having to recover from the torture she so recent was rescued from and Sara has her confidence in herself to rebuild. With Lily and their mother Brigit and other relatives at Fern Cottage in Ireland, they have to work on their magic and fighting abilities, to prepare for the battle to come. They also need to get to know the beings who are part of them and have been for the whole of their lives. Their pneuma are an important ally and teacher for each of the sisters. These beings can separate from each sister and take a form similar to the fata who are building an army against them. When each sister undergoes something particular, their pneuma will come out and if they are lucky, be able to talk to them and teach them how to take down the fata.
The three sisters are prophesised to save Earth for all humans and supernaturals from what is to come, and this is why their true birth mother had to make the huge sacrifice to give them away at birth. They have a number of others close to Brigit who can help train them, but the main ability they need is air magic. Something that has almost been wiped out by the original group of fata, who have targeted witches of this kind for millennium. Each sister has different abilities and strengths, but each is going to face a lot of heartache and pain to reach their full potentials. Whether they will manage it in time, will be a close call. They also need to find supernatural allies to help form an army against King Dimia, his fata factions and supernatural allies. Lily gets closer to daemon Alfred, whilst Evelyn has to deal with her betrayal by Roman, someone she thought was becoming close to romantically, and whose location has been kept secret from her for some time. Sara still feels kind of the odd one out still and isn’t as confident as the other two sisters, with so much from her past still bothering her. The fata cannot be defeated with the sister’s normal magic and they must learn air magic, which is harder for some than others. A huge battel will come, before they are fully ready and with more of foes than expected. It seems Noro is after one of the sisters in particular, and a high price will be paid on both sides, for an outcome many might not have expected. A fitting finale to the series with a lot of tragic moments, but also a coming together to fight for what is right, no matter the ultimate cost to themselves. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Ever have one of those reading experiences where you finish a book or a series you were COMPLETELY invested in and don't really know what to do with yourself now that the story is over? If you answered yes to that question, then you would be able to empathize with how I spent part of my afternoon.

I just finished the third book of The Starseed Trilogy and I'm absolutely done in! In the first book, we meet Lily, Evelyn, and Sara, three women in their very early 20's who are triplets but don't know it! They were all given up for adoption by their mother, Brigit, as a way of protecting them until they "came of age". These three were born witches and, if the prophecy was to be believed, they were very powerful ones. So powerful that they would be the only ones capable of stopping a dark force from another dimension that wished to subjugate the human race and rule the earth.

Each story contained a battle against evil with each battle being more intense than the one before. And this third installment in the series did not disappoint! The triplets finally come face-to-face with Dimia, the King of the Fata, and once again encounter his seneschal, Noro. But they don't face these two evil creatures alone. A number of those in the "supernatural community" believe that the triplets are indeed the three spoken of in the prophecy and it doesn't take long before the girls have their own small army to lead.

But sometimes battles exact a painful price; even when that battle is against a force of evil that must be stopped. While the losses were heartbreaking (I literally said, "No!" out loud at one point), the grief of the characters helped lend credibility to the storyline and the battle scenes contained therein. It would have been just a touch TOO incredible if the girls and their army had escaped completely unscathed.

Love, revenge, forgiveness, restored relationships, . . . it's all here. Wrapped up in a powerful story of three women who come to cherish the sisters they never knew they wanted.

People are disappearing all over the world. They are being taken by the fata, magical beings from the planet Hecate. The fata are making plans to take over the Earth and are becoming stronger as they build their army.

Meanwhile, Sara, Evelyn, and Lily are gathering an army of their own to aid them in their fight against the fata. Sara, Evelyn, and Lily have the help of their pneumas, benevolent fata souls residing inside them. The pneumas come from past lives. Evelyn and Lily have released their pneumas but Sara is having a hard time figuring out just how to release hers.

The sisters are preparing for war against the fata. They are playing games with werewolves, vampires, and other paranormal creatures to help build their strength for the coming battle.

I enjoyed these games between all the supernatural creatures. Some of the battles were very dangerous making me wonder if they were going to make it out alive.

Rising of Three had me hooked from the first page with battle after battle. The action and suspense never let up from one minute to the next. I could see it all playing out in my head as if I was right there fighting alongside the girls. The description of all the scenes was so vividly written I felt as if I was a part of it.

Have you ever had one of those authors where you didn’t have to read the summary of a book that they have written to know that you wanted to read it? Well, Ashley is one of those authors for me. Once I pick up one of her books I can’t lay it down until I have read the last page.

I highly recommend Rising of Three to all paranormal fans out there. One-click your copy of Rising of Three today! If you have not read the first two books in this trilogy then I would suggest that you start with Prophecy of Three book one and Souls of Three book two before reading the last book Rising of Three as they are not standalone.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. :)

The final book in the Starseed Trilogy did not disappoint! In Rising of Three, Lily, Evelyn, Sara and the rest of their family and friends embarked on the final leg of their journey to defeat Noro and save the Earth from the fata. The sisters have come into their own as far as magic is concerned, and they train hard to be ready for the battle. Because they are starseeds (that is, they have a pneuma living inside them from another time and planet), the fate of the world rests on their shoulders. I don't want to spoil too much, so I won't say much more about the pneumas. They are very... weird but interesting!

Rising of Three is told from multiple viewpoints, though we get an extra look inside Sara's mind this time around. I have to say, I actually did not enjoy her segments very much. She was, for the most part, a complete downer and also a martyr. More than once she either put herself in danger or did things at questionable times because she felt like she needed to. I felt more annoyed by her than anything.

Regardless, I love the way the triplets band together and always have each others' back, especially considering they did not grow up together. This made me happy because they are three completely different people, but they stick together because they are family.

The final battle was pretty long and intense, and there were a couple deaths that really bothered me. The aftermath of the battle is pretty unique, but again, I don't want to spoil anything. Let's just say that the way traitors are dealt with is extremely satisfying!

I'm sad that this book marks the end of the Starseed Trilogy. I really enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what Ashley McLeo comes up with next!

Book three of the Starseed Trilogy brings us our exciting conclusion to the sisters’ story. It all has been leading up to this point, and they must succeed against the fata forces, or the world will never be the same. Can they use their natural-born skills as well as those that do not come as easily?

The young women have learned of their pneumas, and are just starting to realize the powers therein. While Lily and Evelyn have released their pneumas outside their bodies, and interacted with them, Sara struggles to develop that relationship. The fire witch went from being the sister who has the most power, to being the one left behind. How can she communicate with her pneuma?

Noro, King Dimia, and the fata forces are claiming and kidnapping humans in preparation for the coming war, but to what end? The “good guys” are gathering as many supernaturals as possible to Fern Cottage to hopefully defeat the forces determined to take over the Earth. Evelyn is still recovering from her ordeal, and Lily is trying hard to not muddy the waters by falling in love. With Sara’s struggles adding to these, the girls need each other more than ever. The triplets are trained by the best supernaturals around, but will it be enough to overcome the encroaching evil?

The author weaves a story that you can’t put down. She has a talent for bringing you into the story as if you’re watching it in person, and a part of the action. A must-read, thrilling adventure!

“Rising of Three” is the last instalment in “The Starseed Trilogy” by Ashley McLeo, a delightful YA paranormal urban fantasy story that evolves around three sisters, who happened to be witches, and descendants of a powerful Irish lineage.

It has taken some up and downs, however, Lily, Evelyn and Sara have eventually come together and are completely in synch with her magical heritage and powers. Nevertheless, they need to up their training to be able to defeat the fata, who threat to destroy the world as we know it, and whose presence in this realm becomes stronger from day to day. The story is a balanced mix of action and character development, for now that the sisters are finally on the same page, Sara’s role as the tip in the balance shifts. Being told through multiple POV, the story gains in speed and depth. A worthy finale to this amazing series.

Ashley McLeo series is fast-paced and action-packed, while still giving the story enough place to breath, and construct a solid, detailed, and accurate background story, that successfully weaves historical facts with mythology and overall fantasy lore into a very satisfying introduction to the series, that while borrowing some of the known ‘Charmed’ lore, is not mere version of it, on the contrary it evolves into a fully original multilayered story that is not only informative and interesting, but first and foremost entertaining as any good fantasy story should be.

Wow! What an ending to a unique and entertaining series!

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. Fortunately, I can honestly say I have really enjoyed this whole series.

Sara has been my favourite triplet from the get-go and it was fun seeing her come into her own in this final book.

The ending to this story was exciting and explosive, with plenty of action and suspense.

I particularly love that all the female characters in this entire series - even the "bad' ones - are strong and independent and capable of taking care of not only themselves but others as well. The author, Ashley McLeo is wonderful at writing female characters a reader can connect with and root for, and giving those characters stories that are multi-faceted and entertaining.

Future readers are fortunate, in that the entire trilogy is available now, so someone considering this series is highly recommended to just buy the entire trilogy, as once you start reading, you won't want to stop until you reach the exciting conclusion, so get the whole set then you can binge right through without needing to stop for purchasing the next installment.

Spectacular ending to an amazing trilogy. While this book was primarily Sara's viewpoint, you were still given glimpses through the other sisters, and occasionally other beings as well. It was great getting to know Sara better. Like a good ending should be, all of the loose threads were tied up nicely but you still got a hint that there could be some crazy stuff in the future. The final installment had plenty of action and great character development. Character arcs for the main characters were amazing. They have grown so much since book 1. Not everything in book 3 was happily ever after. You deal with pain, death, and tragedy. But it was all worthwhile. The final battle scene was just what I expected the build up to lead to. I highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who loves witches, supernatural/paranormal creatures, and Irish mythology. Can't wait to read more from this awesome writer.

Finale time! Definitely recommend reading the previous books for the best reading experience. These sisters have had so many problems since they’ve learned they are witches and that there’s a prophecy that they are involved in. Lily, Evelyn, and Sara need to hone their magic to defeat those that wish to dominate Earth. They need to figure out how to work together to survive. Sara has been the sister in the supporting role in the previous books, but now she’s having to deal with her own issues. It’s good to get a more in depth understanding of Sara. Evelyn and Lily still have work to do on themselves as well, which is difficult in this dangerous and trying time. All the magic stuff is still cool; interesting ideas with the magical beings from a different planet, makes for some fun action! Overall, this series has been great! Entertaining series with unique ideas that added to the series!

An intense and exciting conclusion of the trilogy. Lily, Evelyn and Sara communed with their pneuma and learned what was their mission. The fata had been strengthening his magic and things were looking bad for the witches. Would they sacrifice all? Interesting and detailed narrations and descriptions that kept me on edge. Magic, strong characters, action, suspense, lot of violence with a deadly battle, romance and passion. Liked how the protagonists learned to master their powers and embraced their destiny. Enjoyed how the author crafted the three sisters’ characters and made they outstand by themselves.

I received a ARC of this book from the author and it was everything I hoped for.
The triplets Lily, Sara and Evelyn are training hard to destroy the evil Fata Noro and his followers. Along with their pnuema Badb, Neiman and Macha.
The Fata are getting stronger so the girls need to get their gifts under control and bring in extra help to their side. This book has love, betrayal and tremendous loss.
I absolutely loved this book and series and I am sad that it is done. A must read for all who love the supernatural.

Wow what an exciting conclusion to this amazing trilogy. So much happens in a short space of time for the three sisters in this series you just keep wanting more. Action packed full a drama with a bit of romance makes this a great read.
The sister have finally bonded, they’re training hard to prepare for the finale battle and they need help from the supernatural world, which they didn’t know existed until a short while ago.
Will they be able to survive this battle?

This story begins with Sara reading newspapers and journals from all over when she comes to a story of a woman who has been branded. From the looks of the brand in the newspaper picture, it is a dead ringer for the mark that Noro left on Evelyn when he kidnapped her. More advanced training begins in earnest while an army of supernatural creatures is raised to fight the aliens. There is plenty of action plus a romance and marriage between Lily and Alfred (sorry folks, no steam). Highly recommended.

Pick a weekend you have several days to read. I had to work and was almost late several times! This book finale of the Starseed Triliogy was amazing. Romance, pain, death, love, war and so much more!

The triplets went from baby witches to queens of power. All my favorite parts will be spoilers! If you like witches, fata, vampires, werewolves, sirens, and lots of other fantasy creatures, READ THIS!

Everything comes down to this story with lots of action, suspense, fighting and fingers crossed that the sisters will win come out the winners. The story made me laugh a few times and groan but was entertaining as they get ready for the battle we all know is coming. Hooked from the beginning to see how it would all end. Love how the sisters have become one and all the other characters add to the story.

This book was the perfect ending to the series in my opinion. I loved the way it was told, and the way things came to a finish. It was realistic in that not everything went perfectly. I loved the way the girls learned from their mistakes, and the way they handled themselves in the face of tragedy. This series is absolutely epic, and I loved the originality of it.

The final book of 3... I could barely put it down! Excellent continued character development and creative imagery combined to make me feel like I was there, like the characters were old friends. Great conclusion to the triplets story. There some twists and turns. Not to mention if Sara will get a chance to be happy with someone. I loved being able to see Sara, Lily, and of course Evelyn grow closer as sisters. Sad that the tale is over but what an ending.
