The classic story of smuggling and corruption retold for children growing in reading confidence. Evocatively illustrated by Alan Marks. The Usborne Reading Programme was developed with reading experts at the University of Roehampton. After stumbling upon a secret laid buried for hundreds of years, John Trenchard finds himself transported into a world of treachery, danger and stolen diamonds. Will he survive and make it home to the girl he loves?

I love these Usborne Young Reading books. They come with full colour illustrations and bring the magic to classics, such as Moonfleet. Not fully abridged.
