A solid overview of the Russian Revolution (both in Feb and November/October 1917 in Russia) and the subsequent follow up of the Russian Civil War. This works as a reference piece, to offer an introduction to a student to the subject. In addition to the narrative and timeline, there are translations of key documents/proclamations in the appendices. A decent resource, but not much beyond that one.
