This is a review still under way: Ms. Lamb has presented, in an easy format that even the busiest person can utilize, a number of simple ways for an every day person to make a small but important positive impact on the environment. No need to move into the wilderness or a hippie commune -- these are practical ideas we can all use!

I particularly liked her suggestions to: save water by putting a bottle of water in the toilet tank; save paper by reusing scrap copy paper and junk mail for all the many informal things we do with paper; and to protect our water supply by switching from the harsh chemical concoctions of commercial detergents, to old-fashioned laundry soap, such as Ivory Snow.
