Read up to the current chapter available through translation so far, 85, and loved the whole damn thing. Hope it gets a full English release; I'll buy every edition happily.

Great!!! Recommended buat yang manga-addict sekaligus penggemar tema Perang Dunia Kedua.

Diceritakan dari sudut pandang tentara bela diri Jepang dari tahun 2000-an... Loh, katanya temanya Perang Dunia II?

Tenang, Saudara-saudara... tema lainnya adalah tema favorit gw yang lain: Time-Travel. Jadi kayak Back to The Future gitu, tapi rame-rame satu kapal perang. Eniwei, para pelaut malang yang kesasar ke masa lalu itu mendapati kapal mereka berada di tengah-tengah Pertempuran Midway! Lalu bagaimana? Ikutan perang atau tidak? Bagaimana caranya balik ke masa depan?

Penasaran nih... tapi nyari mangascannya belum dapet, terpaksa nunggu manganya terbit sebulan sekali (itu juga kalo Level nerbitinnya sebulan sekali). Huhuhu...

This book is a carbon copy of Hollywood movie "Manhattan Project" if I am not mistaken.

Basic premise of the move is a US modern ship of 199x era, due to some freak of nature, travel back in time, to the time prior to the Pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese. The dilema is whether the modern ship should prevent the attack, since as a soldier the crew are sworn to protect US against any enemy, foreign or domestic, regardless of what year.
Yet to do so will alter the timeline in which they do not know what the repurcussion will be.

Well in this book the premise is reversed, it's the Japanese ship that get stranded back in time, somewhere after the midway battle.

An interesting premise. Let see how the story develop from the first book.

Picked up the mange knowing only 7 of the 43 volumes are English Translated, the plot seemed too interesting to miss out on.A 21st century Japanese warship transported to WW-2.I was interested in knowing what would they do, knowing the history about the inevitable use of nukes, about actually being one of the leading countries 50 years later even after losing the war. What side would they choose and in what way change the history.

What I got was quite different, the storytelling and the scenarios are silly and disappointing, instead of being a decisive force they always seem to be reacting to events created by others.

The review is based on reading the first 7 volumes.
