This book tries to do a lot of things.

It tries to write a kickass female character who is capable and independent. It tries to write an understanding and gentle male character. It tries to be a romance and a mystery novel at the same time.

Ultimately, though, it falls flat on everything.

The characters end up one-dimensional, and both the romance and the mysteries are lackluster. Would not recommend.

Very interesting plot and setup. Enjoyed thinking through the crimes with the leads- you absolutely can with the foreshadowing and clues that the leads also notice. There's a couple sections were it may seem that the leads get a little too lucky, but that's also life- it's not very prevalent. Loved the interactions and the way the two couples get together, as well as the growth in the side characters. Loved the familial interactions.

刑侦探案的部分还挺有意思，作者文字功底也不错，就是感情线有些简单，小甜品的感觉。
