It's nice if you're totally a foreigner and have no concept of Asian alphabets. If you do though, it would be nice to have much more depth. I'm complaining mostly because this is the best my library has and I want to improve my Kanji calligraphy.

This was a fun book geared for the person with kanji calligraphy projects in mind and it made me think about many different applications. There are nice large vibrant pictures that add tremendous flair to the text. There is a short history and examples of various artworks. I really enjoyed this book. The only thing lacking, which would be nearly impossible to include due to the sheer number of them, is a more complete dictionary of kanji characters.
