Very insightful biography that gives a window of Cheyenne traditions that may not be common place anymore. Along with her own encouragement the future generations to remember the songs that were present during her time. This was a wonderful conversational piece that gave a window in another person's life experience.

This is written transcripts of Bertha Little Coyote discussing her life and experiences as a Cheyenne woman. It also heavily focuses on the role songs and music played in Bertha’s life. I picked up this book to help with some genealogy work I’ve been doing. It was a quick, interesting read that I was able to glean some valuable dates and names I needed for genealogy.
