Chapters on childhood development, discipline, healthy communication, and how to move forward make this a user-friendly, complete treatment of a common but challenging experience.
I wish this book wasn't something I needed to have on my bookshelf but it's really been a great resource as I try to be a good parent to Josie. I read sections of it after Ray left and eventually bought a copy for him, too. Never thought he'd read it but every once in a while, he'll bring up some of the suggestions from this book. We both care deeply about Josie and want to make sure we put her needs first so this book continues to be helpful.
