My name is Maddox Stone. Or at least, it’s the name my clients call me. I work for the elite escort agency, Temptations, and for a price, I’ll be whatever you want and need me to be. I have the body, I have the looks, and I have a smile that makes any woman swoon.

But It’s just a job. A necessary evil to help fund my dreams of becoming a doctor. I’m simply a robot, performing my required tasks. Until the night I’m hired to seduce Charlotte Harvey and remind her how good a man can make her feel.

I didn’t expect her beauty to spark a desire in me long buried. I didn’t expect her smile to turn that spark into a flame. And I definitely didn’t expect her passion to ignite that flame into an inferno. I should have walked away without looking back, but she started a fire in me that I can’t seem to tame.

Tempting Nights is the first book in the Tempted Nights Romance Series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone and features a happily ever after.

Haven’t we all been told that if something sounds too good to be true, back away and don’t take a bite. Better yet, go into every opportunity the way you believe it should be handled. Otherwise, it will always come back to bite you!!

Maddox Stone should have listened to that little voice in the back of his head telling him to not do it. But money is always the root of all evils. Working this extra job to pay off his student loans isn’t something he dreams of making a career out of. Just escorting until the bills are done.

Charlotte aka Charlie vows to give up on men and rely solely on her B.O.B. for satisfaction. Nothing good ever comes out of dating anymore. Burned more than a couple times now, single and not ready to mingle is how Charlie is going forward in life.

When omitting the truth by omission comes back to hurt you more than you can imagine, it’s time to step up and come clean. But has waiting too long to come clean, damaged the one good thing you had going?

This was a good quick paced book. I absolutely loved Karen 😊 If I could be ½ the woman she is when I reach that age, my life will be complete!

Charlotte and Trey

I enjoyed reading this well written book! It was a fast paced romance with great attention to details.
The main characters meet at a bar and their attraction is strong.
She works as a nurse and he is a Physician Assistant and they unknowingly work at the same hospital.
I definitely recommend this fun and hot romance!

I think so far this is my favorite book by this author. I liked Trey and Charlotte. However, I wasn't a fan of her best friend. I was happy that they got over all the drama in the end. They both deserved a HEA.

Tempting secrets is Trey and Charlotte's story, and what a HOT story they have.
Trey is army vet that has been studying for a new role on the outside world. With living and student loans a nd fees Trey is struggling so get a side job to help pay those fees. Meanwhile his best buddy take upon himself to arrange a date for Trey to escort a lady to a function, only she dont know it. Its all gonna go swimmingly right? Against his better judgment and loyalty to Trick he agrees.

Charlotte had enough of men its time to give up and stick to the kind that dont talk argue back and most certainly dont cheat. Only her best friend has other ideas after a night out in a club and thinks she needs a guys to show her that not males are the same cheating monsters that charlotte tends to find ? Nothing can go wrong from a set up right?

Michelle windsor has done a fab job with books 1 in this tempting nights series i cant wait to start book 2 which i have to start right away. Love michelles work so much and could see all her books becoming movies one day .

This book is perfect for anybody who loves a HEA but also like a bit of drama and feisty women.

Holy Mother of Hotness!! The attraction in this book is off the charts! Trey aka "Maddox" is a character that you will immediately love. You may not like his side gig but you will understand his need for the extra money. When his best friend sets him up on a paid gig on the side, he gets way more than he bargained for. Charlotte is working herself to death and only spends time with her two closest friends, Kinsley & Gabby. Gabby comes up with a crazy idea to put a little passion back in Charlie's life but she never expected the journey that would unfold. If you love a great story with a lot of passion, this is the book for you! It is beautifully written and will keep you turning the pages!

Tempting Secrets

So I ran into Michelle Windsor at Books by the Bridge in NYC last weekend, told her I purchased her book based on BookBistroBlog 's recommendation but haven't read it. Damn so happy to push this one up on the list. This tale has so much going on a hot escort/physician assistant, a smoking hot nurse in her own making two best friends that are into pleasure. So, what's in your story?

Trey has had a ruff life and not a lot of examples of what love and caring mean. He has worked hard to reach his goals of becoming a PA and part of what he has done to pay for it is to be an escort. Charolette/Charlie has also had a ruff upbringing working hard to realize her dreams of being a nurse. You would think considering they are both medial professionals that they meet in a hospital or somewhere else with an equally medial meaning. You would be wrong. There friends hooked them up with Trey as Charlie’s escort and of course Charlie doesn’t know it is a set up. The bulk of the book is their journey of falling in love, but the BIG secret hanging over their relationship can’t stay hidden forever. Can Charlie get over the lies? Can Trey finally let go of his pride and stop being an escort so he can be with the love of his life? Will their friends help them see the light and guide them on their path to an HEA? You will have to read this well written story with fantasticly developed characters to find the answer tho these questions and to the few I left out as to not spoil it for you. This is a fun read that will tug at your heart strings. I highly recommend it for your reading pleasure.

Predictable and at times kind of silly, I just couldn't connect with Tempting Secrets despite it's fast-paced nature and subject matter.

I liked the characters well enough but the circumstances surrounding Trey and Charlotte's love affair was nothing new and some of their decisions and actions came off juvenile. Best friend Gaby was a bit ridiculous and most of her dialogue annoyed me. I struggled to finish and I'm not sure I will be continuing with the series.

Again, just my opinion. I do know most enjoyed it so once again it very well could be a case of it's me, not you.

We all need a Maddox in our lives. I loved him! And I've been mad and again loved him a little more. This story was a rollercoaster and so intense! Trey (Maddox's real name) and Charlotte's chemistry is off pages and so damn good. Unfortunately, Secrets is eating Trey up and ruining everything he has built so far. Who knows how she'll react al all... go read it to find out🤭

Who wouldn't want a night with Maddox Stone. He's gorgeous and working his way through medical school. Then Charlotte Harvey entered his world and it was never the same. Robot no more, this woman was special. But secrets can be lethal and he has plenty. I read a reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Maybe I’ve been living under a rock, but this is the first romance book I’ve read where one of the characters is a male escort, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wouldn’t call it my new favorite trope or anything, but I did like it.

This book did have my least favorite trope in it, but I did my best not to hold that against the story.

Plot:

The plot was very predictable, so there weren’t really any “Oh my God” moments while reading. I always felt like I sort of knew what was going to happen. It didn’t take away any enjoyment from the story, though.

This was a fast-paced read that gets right into the action from the very first page. We follow Trey and Charlotte’s relationship from the moment they meet. We get a glimpse into how everything between them develops. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

We see how their initial connection starts, learn about all of Trey’s secrets and the inevitable fallout that occurs once they are revealed, and the possibility of the couple moving forward together after.

It was a wild ride, to say the least. It was entertaining, albeit at times over the top and hard to believe.

Writing Style:

Michelle Windsor's writing was very simple and easy to follow. Not overly descriptive and flowery but not lacking either. It did get very repetitive at times, so that was upsetting.

Example: “I think he’s going to kiss me. I blink up at him and hope he’s going to kiss me.”

The constant reminder of how “tiny” and “petite” Charlie was also got old fast. It was so cringy and didn’t need to be mentioned every fifteen or so pages. I swear her size was mentioned as much as possible. Trey just loved Charlie’s “small frame.”.

The point of view often confused me. Sometimes the story is being told in first person before abruptly changing to third person and vice versa. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but it was somewhat jarring.

Even though I was entertained by the book and the flow of the writing, there were some lines that were so bad they made me laugh/cringe:

“Then kiss me again, kiss me like you’ve been in the desert for a month and I’m a glass of water.” - That’s not it, fam. 😂

“She’s like a little pixie but with the heart of a minx.” - WHAT!? 😂

“I grab a clean towel off a shelf in my closet and walk naked back through the living room to the bathroom, my dick bobbing against my stomach the whole time.” - The picture I painted in my head regarding this was comical. 😂

“I do maintain some composure and manage to keep my hands from reaching out to run over his bumpy abdomen.” - What an odd way to describe a six-pack. Does he have boils or something? 😂

“His lips follow the direction of the material, stopping when he reaches one of my swollen peaks.” - Charlie was talking about her boobs. 😂

“My lips have become so swollen that they aren’t even covered by the fabric anymore.” - Charlie isn’t talking about the lips on her face. 😂

I forgot to grab the quote, but at one time Charlie was giving Trey a handy and mentioned how big his banana is, and he tells her something like, “It’s not big; it’s just because your hands are so small.” Or some icky thing along those lines.

Characters:

Charlotte “Charlie” Harvey: Charlie was just an alright character for me. She wasn’t my favorite main character in a book. I didn’t particularly like her or not like her. She was just sort of there for me. Nothing about her personality stood out. She did seem to slut-shame Gabby at times, and I didn’t care for that.

She was a bit of a pushover. She finds out that Trey lied to her not only about his name but also about the circumstances under which they met. She’s steaming mad (rightfully so) yet turns around and forgives him like it’s nothing. He’s like, “Yeah, sorry about that,” and she’s just like, “You’re hot, and I want to jump your bones, so I forgive you. LOL”. Come on Charlie, grow a backbone!

Sidenote: This woman bites her bottom lip A LOT. I'm surprised there's any skin left on it.

Trey Riley/Maddox Stone: I liked Trey. I thought his character was more complex than we are initially led to believe. He did what he had to in order to survive, and that’s understandable. Did he make mistakes? Sure. But don’t we all? I think he eventually just found himself between a rock and a hard place. He could have been a bit more sympathetic towards Trick and his struggles with PTSD. Since both Trey & Trick were in the Army, PTSD is something that Trey should be more understanding about.

Sidenote: Can someone get this man a glass of water? Because it seems like he is constantly dehydrated.

Gabrielle “Gabby” Reed (Charlie’s best friend): I did not care for Gabby at all. I felt like she was very childish and immature for her age. I know she gets her own story later on in the series, so maybe all that will change.

Patrick “Trick” Connors (Trey’s best friend): I didn’t mind Trick. He was rather stereotypical in his representation of a man, in the sense that he just wanted to sleep around with women and have a good time. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. He just seemed very flat. We didn’t get a good look at him as a person/man. However, this is not his story, and he is a side character, so that’s fine.

Karen Perry (Trey’s client turned friend): I LOVED Karen. She is the eighty-something-year-old woman we all strive to be. She was blunt while still being classy. She calls it like she sees it, and that is amazing. Hats off to Karen.

Spice:

The spice was spicing. There was just enough in there to not damage the overall plot of the story. The smut was generous but not overbearing. I was actually surprised since going into this I thought it was a purely smut-based book. I don’t mind that at all if I know that’s what I’m getting myself into; I was just pleasantly surprised with this one. That’s all.

The chemistry between Trey and Charlie was instantaneous and off the charts. It was so hot and fun. Very well done. It was definitely an instalust situation, which I don’t mind since it’s more believable for me than the instalove trope.

Other Thoughts:

I just want to mention that Charlie and Gabby giggle way too often for two grown women in their twenties. They giggle at almost everything they talk about. They also stick their tongues out in a teasing fashion at each other multiple times. Come on, they aren’t seven years old.

Gabby calls her dad “daddy.” Something about an adult female referring to her father as “daddy” just gives me the serious ick.

Trey and Charlie always getting it on and making out at work was so disturbing. Since it’s highly unprofessional. If they got caught, they would both get fired without question. Also, they work in the ER at a hospital, so doing it in the rooms is so unhygienic. Especially on a hospital bed.

They also get it on in the family bathroom at a zoo! I’m no prude, but that’s disgusting. I can’t imagine that the bathroom was very clean. They are both adults; can’t they keep their hands off each other for five minutes!?

Can we please get one female character in a book that actually knows about and likes sports just because they do? Charlie being a New England Patriots fan just because “Tom Brady is hot” nearly killed me. Women who enjoy sports already aren’t taken seriously enough without the author adding to the overall stereotype. Come on, Michelle Windsor, don’t make your fellow females look bad!

After asking Charlie about being a Patriots fan, Trey tells her that he’s a Philadelphia Eagles fan. He then proceeds to tell her that their Sundays spent together will be interesting since they will be fighting about their respective teams.

1) The NFL is split into two conferences, the AFC and the NFC. The New England Patriots are in the AFC, and the Philadelphia Eagles are in the NFC.

2) Outside of the yearly Super Bowl, AFC and NFC teams only play each other during the regular season once every four years, with the occasional preseason game sprinkled in. The last time the Patriots played the Eagles was on September 10, 2023, and the time before that was in 2019. So, outside of a Super Bowl matchup, there is no reason for Trey and Charlie’s Sundays to get “scrappy.”.

I’m a Dallas Cowboys fan, and my husband is a Philadelphia Eagles fan. Those teams are not only in the same conference but are in the same division. So, our Sundays can get very interesting, to say the least. Especially since teams in the same division play each other twice during the regular season.

I’m sorry; I know it’s such a stupid detail, but I’m just very passionate about sports.

Overall, this is an alright start to this new series. I might check out the other books but am not 100% sure yet. I guess we will just have to see where this reading year takes me.

TLDR: A DECENT START TO A NEW SERIES! JUST DON’T EXPECT A WHOLE LOT GOING INTO IT!

As always, please remember that reading is subjective, and that’s what makes it so great. 😊

The premise seemed cute, but the execution wasn't. The whole meeting is a sort of secret, one that the author switched suddenly to third person when the rest of the book is in first mid passage. That sort of thing really pulls you away from the writing. There was a lot of slut shaming the one friend, despite Charlie having sex the first time she met someone too. Then after their first night, suddenly our MC assaults the best friend. WTF?? How are we supposed to route for this guy as a love interest? He is always saying "I'm thirsty" in the middle of them getting action or wanting action, which has to be the least sexy thing ever-especially when he answers that when she is rightfully upset finding out he lied to her. He also is SUPER insensitive and horrible to his roommate/best friend who has PTSD from a crash while in the service-something the dude should know about as he served in the military too.

Charlotte and Trey meet by chance. Don't they?

Trey is an escort and Charlotte's friend gets him to approach her without telling Charlie all the truth behind the situation and about what he does for a living. They both click together, there's this chemistry between them that can't be denied and the thing goes from there.

They grew in their own way during this book. Charlotte a little bit more than Trey but at the end of the story, I think Trey got the better character development of them. I love a guy that can learn and say he's sorry, and mean it, changing his behavior for the woman he loves.

I have to say the writing style was pretty simple, no complicated wording or anything like that so it made the story flow from beginning to end without a problem. I like books like this because you can go from beginning to end without losing your pace and enjoy it more.

I saw the climax of the story coming since the middle of the book. I still gave a few ideas a chance in my head but it was basically what I predicted. I'm not saying predictability is a bad thing but it didn't help in this case for me, at least not for me. I like escort stories but I would have preferred a different twist, I also know that's just my personal preference.

Lastly, I think the plot of the male escort is one that I don't see much in romance novels. Maybe I don't know where to look for them but I like the idea of the man being the one escorting the woman to social events and stuff, instead of the woman being the arm candy for a guy. I would love to have enough money and know of a company that gives this kind of services so I can book a nice dinner with a hot guy, but we're not that advanced where I live *laughs*

I would recommend this book, especially if you like male escort stories, sexy steamy times, good chemistry, and romance plot-driven books. I love those *smiles*

What a Fantastic start to what no doubt will be a super sexy series of books by Michelle Windsor, and this one is just that very seductive and sexy.
Trey aka Maddox Stone is working his way through med school by being an escorts for an agency called Temptations. This is where he is known as Maddox Stone, gorgeous charming and there to sweep you off your feet and show you a good time, but No Sex.
He reluctantly agrees to a job as a favour for his friend and roommate Trick who also works for Temptations. Trey aka Maddox is to show this "job" a nice time and restore her faith in men. Charlotte or Charlie is the Job Trey didn't want to do. Having had a string of bad relationships Charlotte has sworn off men. But when unawares she meets Maddox at a party with her friend sparks begin to fly everywhere. They both feel it and Trey aka Maddox breaks his rule for no sex... Charlotte is unaware that Maddox is an escort whose real name is Trey and that this was all a set up. Because a passionate love affair begins, but it is a romance built on lies... Can a relationship last with so many secrets.. Read it and find out you won't regret it.
This book is full of scorching moment of passion and moments that will make you swoon. I really enjoyed my time spent reading this story. Michelle Windsor never ever disappoints with her gorgeous men and wonderful tales of Romance. They reel you in and suspend you there until the very end. I cannot wait to read more from this series I have a feeling they are only going to get better and hotter.

Trey and Trick have known each other since the Army. Trey as a medic and Trick as a medivac chopper pilot. Now they're not only roommates but both work for Temptations Escort Agency in New York as paid escorts or dates for hire. The Agency is only paid for the Escort service but sex is an unofficial perk the client pays for directly. Trey still owes thirty grand on his tuition for the physician's assistant program he enrolled in. So even though he'll start his clinical practicum in three weeks, and gets paid, it won't be enough to pay for rent, his tuition bill or living expenses. But rest assured, he does have his limits.
Charlotte, better known as Charlie, Gabby and Kinsley are all friends and work at the hospital. Charlotte has sworn off men and dating since she's had a string of bad experiences. Yep, you guessed it! Her friends are going to hire an escort to seduce her for one night to give her an experience that will put her back out there so to speak. And what a night it becomes!!
What an absolute feel good read. Classic boy meets girl till it goes wrong and all the angst and emotions needed to stir up a good love story come into being. A great beginning book for what appears to be the start of a great series. The characters are themselves absolutely lovable and interact with each other flawlessly. You can't help but to want to get through the book quickly to see how it ends.

Trey whose been an arm candy escort along with his friend Trick for the past two years only to help pay his huge tuition fees to become a physician assistant. Charlotte works in the emergency room and has given up men since her past is a revolving door of losers. Enter Gabby her best friend who notices her checking him out one night at a bar and approaches his friend and finds out what they do for a living. Fearing that Charlotte is losing hope in men she hires Trey to show her that there are still a few good men out there (no sex just a memorable night). Being on the clock he introduces himself as his alter ego Maddox since he's just on a job but soon realizes that he likes her and breaks his no-sex rule giving both of them a night they won't forget. Thinking he will never see her again he leaves her a sweet note and regretfully leaves her asleep, little does he know he begins his training at the same hopital that she works at. As they start to get closer he fears telling her the truth but we all know it's going to come out in a way uglier way. Can she get past this, especially when another bombshell comes around? Really love Trey and hope there is way more in this series.

Maddox and Charlotte, you two crazy lovers. You make me all swoony and melty inside. Your chemistry together is off the charts hot and the moment your lips touch, fireworks go off everywhere. But even in the midst of your steamy, sexy times between the sheets (and other unexpected places) there exists an undeniable sweetness in the way you treat each other. Yes, there are secrets between you, but they are for protection, not to deceive or destroy. In the end, your love overcomes all obstacles, both real and imagined.
Ms. Windsor has created a stunning story of attraction, desire and love. Her writing is concise, smooth and an absolute pleasure to read. I always one click her books. She writes with such skill, I willingly tumble headfirst into the tale she weaves and I love the scrapes and bruises endured along the way as her characters find each other. You will adore Maddox. Handsome, hardworking, smart. And Charlotte is entrancing...I wanted to scoop her up and hug her. She’s just a shade bruised by life, but so strong and determined. I loved them together-they completed each other perfectly. The perfect start to a fantastic series. I cannot wait to read them all.
Well done, Ms. Windsor. Well done, indeed.

This was my first Michelle Windsor book and I was captivated by the first chapter! Why have I not read her books before? This gem is about a Physician's Assistant (PA) student Trey, who had a ton of student loans, so he works at night as Maddox, a male escort.

He is coerced by his best friend Trick and his current fling to show her best friend, Charlotte (Charlie) a good time. Charlotte is cynical of men and sworn off dating. Well, when that good time turns into so much more, the ensuing secrets threaten to ruin their budding relationship.

The chemistry between Trey and Charlie is Insta attraction💘 but then it grows via slow burn 🔥 into much more. Your kindle will literally burn your hands! All this time, the secrets that Trey is keeping are eating away at him and I was wanting to hit him up side the head!

This is such an intense, sweet, steamy, lovely story, you will want to re-read it over and over again. The secondary characters, Trick, Gabby, and especially Karen brought so much to this wonderful story. i loved Karen! The next book in the Tempting Nights Romance Series is Trick's story, and I look forward to seeing more of Charlie and Trey in it. This was an amazing 5 STAR Read!

Maddox Stone, aka Trey, has a side job to help pay rent, school tuition and basic needs. His side job is working as an escort to this wealthy women in NYC. He doesn’t sleep with them. Charlotte is a nurse a hard working woman. She rarely goes out as she’s working 12 hr shifts. She likes being a homebody, but her friends have other plans for her. One of her friends hires “Maddox” to be with Charlotte for a charity function night out. Charlotte has no idea that Maddox is a escort. They are both into each other and can’t seem to get enough of each other.

The following week at the hospital Charlotte knows she is getting 2 new PA’s to help in the ER. When Maddox shows up she’s not sure what to think. Her is her one night stand she had an amazing time with and now he’s standing in front of her ready to start his shift.

Will ‘Maddox’ aka Trey and Charlotte be able to work together? Or has Trey ruined something before it even starts?

3.5🌶️

Meh.

Aside from the completely incorrect details of (1) PA school hahaha like you actually get paid for clinicals, and he didn't have a preceptor and (2) literally no ER in NYC has only 2 patients on any overnight shift.

I mean, it was a bunch of sex. The story flowed well, writing was decent, only 1 annoying error that I really noticed* but idk it just did not hit me right.

FMC is nurse with a super rich bestie who is also a nurse bc she "likes to help people."

MMC is a PA student, former army medic, who moonlights with an escort dating service to pay the bills.

His roommate hooks up with her bestie. They arrange for MMC to "accidentally meet" FMC at a party thrown by bestie's dad. They really connect and end up sleeping together. Except she knows his "work" name.

And then they end up working together, starting the next week.

80% break up when their paths cross one weekend, he's working and she's with bestie. She's pissed and sad.

And pregnant.

Tempting Secrets

"My name is Maddox Stone.

Each book can be read as a stand-alone and features a happily ever after."

Tempting Secrets by Michelle Windsor is a modern romance set in New York City where Physician Assistant Intern, Trey moonlights as an Escort (known then as Maddox) to pay tuition bills. His favorite client is generic Karen who she thinks of him has a friend/son/nephew and uses him thusly for events/dinners.
Charlotte aka Charlie has sworn off men due to bad past relationships. Her best friend sets her up with Trey and they end up being really attracted to each other. So now Trey must decide if he should come clean about his moonlighting.
I liked this storyline and am recommending this book even though it followed the traditional meets girl, looses girl, tries to win girl back plot. The character of Karen felt like the fairy godmother but instead of usually her appearance is to the woman, this time it's to benefit the man.
(Note: I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book.)

I love everything about this book and Trey & Charlotte! They’re both awesome and lovable characters. These two have crazy electrifying chemistry and are so freakin’ hot together!! Although they may meet in a less than honest way, thanks to their meddling friends, everything that happens between them is honest, sexy and beautiful. And let’s not forget the freakin’ hot part! Not thinking they’d ever see each other again, imagine the shock when they end up working in the same hospital. Even though Trey aka Maddox does not tell Charlie what his other job is for way too long (a really bad idea on his part) it didn’t stop me from falling in love with this sexy and sweet man. One really good thing came from his other job, you’ll see. It is such a great story!! I can’t wait for Trick’s book next!

loved it!

This was my first ever read from Michelle Windsor, and dare I say it, I think I’ve found a new favourite author. This story of Trey and Charlotte was beautiful with even amounts of drama, hate and secrets creating a gritty story.p I fell in love with.
Keeping secrets is never a great way to start a relationship but pretty much nothing is normal for Maddox/ Trey and Charlie. He’s sent in secret to show her not all men are horrible, but their night together brings so many more questions, especially when Maddox shows up at the hospital Charlie works at as a new learner, until his eyes land in hers and everything she knew is a lie!
Now with his secret out he must win back a very angry Charlotte, it seems it’s not just Trey that holds little secrets….
With everything in the table can these 2 adorable nightmares come together with nothing between them?

This is the first book I have read by Michelle Windsor and I have to say that it will not the last. I loved this book. Trey, who works as an escort to help pay rent, school tuition and basic needs while studying to be a PA was hired by Charlotte's bestfriend to show her that not all men are losers. After a spectacular "chance meeting" and hot night they part ways without knowing much about each other. Come Monday morning Trey, who Charlotte knows as Maddox (his working name) run into each other in the ER that Charlotte is a nurse at. He is there to start his clinicals. This book grabbed me right away and had me hooked to the end. I could not put it down. I can't wait to read more from this series.
