Delay In Transit

I've been hunting for this story for 45 years. Ever since it read it in a library book. Not for the story itself , but for the technology. I was, back then, fascinated by it. It was worth the wait.
I woke up a few days ago with the feeling I should search through Kindle's old anthologies, and there it was: Delay In Transit, by F.L. Wallace.
Thank You Intuition.

As you might expect of a book of stories by various authors in one genre, some of these are fantastic, some are good, and some I didn't finish. That being said, it's still worth picking up this book if you love sci-fi - there's bound to be some that you will love!
