My life has been great the past few years and I have zero intention of screwing anything up. I’m certainly not going to let some guy ruin things for me, especially not my boss’s ex. But for some reason, every time I run into Declan, I become more and more intrigued by him. It’s like something keeps pulling me in his direction and no matter how hard I try, I can’t stop myself from seeking him out. Ugh. And the fact that he’s not a complete jerk isn’t helping matters at all.

*** In this fantastic episode we have Declan, 33, big and strong ad executive, who's brother is living with him. Trent is 26, a small, thin fellow, nose ring, earrings, lacy undies, and eyeliner, who works at Levi's Photography studio.
Our contenders for romance see each other at a club, and end up dancing. This leads to eating, hanging out, and becoming friends, best friends.
We have a large group of characters, from previous books, whose lives intertwine. Trent is upbeat, snarky, and fun, and Declan is quieter, but equally witty, and in need of a friend. The men are different, but they click.
Sad pasts are revealed, along with the insecurities their pasts caused. I loved these two together, because they just fit in all ways.
Their best friend relationship is great, and then the slow burn of emotions begin to surface. Sexy times are scorching, and tons of cuddles included. This story chronicles their steps along the way to romance and true love.
We have the mystery of Trent's foster-brother, the elusive Evan, plus we see Kade,19, Declan's younger brother. Time moves forward and we get to see what our couple's life might be like, as we watch them at dinners, and talks with friends, and what they do to comfort and cherish each other.
We see a cat, hammock, baseball game, cupcake and jalapeno, and much more.
It's a bit long, but completely compelling and grips your attention.

Declan has been the guy who has never been for a relationship. His past, with his family, has made him believe he is unlovable. After his failed ending with Levi, he has distanced himself from his friends thinking they are mad at him. He has it in his head that people only see him as the asshole who breaks people's hearts. Needless to say he's lonely and one night at a club he encounters Trent.
Trent is a fun loving enthusiastic guy. He works as a photographer at Levi's studio. Like others, he has an idea of who Declan is. However, when they encounter each other at a club Trent sees a loneliness inside Declan that he can relate to. He declares them new best friends and they end up spending the night eating pizza, having ice cream and talking the night away.
A friendship forms between the two of them. The more time they spend with one another the more Trent gets to see sides of Declan no one else has ever seen. Underneath Declan's rough exterior lays a kindhearted, sweet, considerate guy who is insecure when it comes to relationships. Trent gets to see all sides of Declan and the more he sees the more he likes. What starts as a friendship evolves into so much more. Trent just had to have the patience when it came to breaking down all of Declan's walls.
This one is probably my favorite of the series, so far, it is also the one I feel like I have been waiting forever for. I am so glad the author took her time with this one. It was great and Declan got the story he deserved. He has been that character I always adored. I thought he and Levi were going to happen and when it didn't I was so disappointed. However, this story fixed that. Trent and Declan are perfect for one another. I loved reading about a their friendship and watching their relationship unfold was sweet and entertaining. I liked the bond they had. I even laughed a few times at their interactions. It was a slow burn but well worth it.

Love is the Winner!
An angst riddled tale of Declan & Trent. I enjoyed the banner between the MCs and the slow buildup from friends to lovers.
However, I didn’t get Declan’s ‘nobody will stay and love me’ bit. Levi wanted more with Declan. OTOH, he did developed a friendship first with Trent before sex. Overall a good lighthearted story.
What’s Evan’s story?

I am so happy to have finally gotten Declan's story! Even though we have met Trent in the past, getting to know him more was great. He was so unapologetic and fun and sincere. He was a great character and a good match for Declan.
I was also glad that the author really cleared up the Matty/Declan stuff (which you either know from her author page or you remember from the New Years party).
I always appreciate a little drama in stories.. There was a little miscommunication during this story about half way through was a little unbelievable though. I appreciated it happening mid story versus in the last like 15% which happens in many books. Once we got over that hump, the book was super sweet and definitely mushy towards the end.
Excited for Hunter and Tristans story next! AND I wanna know whats going on with Sammy!!

Ok, so I have loved Declan for some time now. Everyone went nuts for Levi but I was over there in the corner loving the boy who seemed broken somehow. So I waited and I waited and well I waited some more for Declan turn at a happy ending. I knew he was going to get one he just had to. So along came Declan story finally. We had to be patient with him, he gave the author some heartache there for a while. The story is finally in our hands and O.M.G.
Here comes Trent we have seen him in the past in other books, he was cute sweet and sassy.I never expected these 2 together. This book blew me out of the water. I may not have expected them together, but holy shit they belong together. Declan will break your heart and if your anything like me get a box of tissues before you start reading.

Podría ir perfectamente en la carpeta de DNF porque me he saltado tantísimas estrofas que creo que sumando todo no he leído mucho más allá del 30% del libro ( hasta hay diálogos totalmente prescindibles, que ya es triste!)
Al principio promete porque se pasa al dual POV y parece que la cosa mejora, pero no, es un espejismo ya que pronto va cayendo en los errores de todos los anteriores, en este caso el tema recurrente es la comida, XD, todos y cada uno de los capítulos tienen una referencia culinaria (y eso que ninguno es chef....), los monólogos internos son repetitivos y de lo más aburridos (y al ser dos POV hay doble ración) y la pareja que al principio te cae BAH! acaban siendo unos pesados de tomo y lomo.
Creo que habrá un quinto libro pero directamente paso....!

I liked it but it's way too long. This book could have ended like 6 chapters before it did. I loved their relationship though and I'm glad we got to understand Declan better.

Declan had a problem trust so it was Trent's mission to keep the friendship.
Lovely writing and you will fall in love with these guys and cheer them on as they find their forever

Declan's story finally. He always felt and acted like a hurting animal. Wanting and needing love, but too scared to believe that there is such a thing out there, someone out there, despite the evidence surrounding him.
Trent is fun and sassy and loyal to a fault. He is the corner stone Declan needs. But he is also vulnerable and just wants someone for his own, his person. He has the patience of a saint and that patience is put to the test during his pursuit of Declan.
When Declan commits he is a total sweetheart. What you didn't realize in the books before is how attentive, caring and loving he is.
What kind of put me off at the start was the heavy use of calling each other words. I felt as if every other passage someone called someone else ass, asswhipe, jerk, little jerk, assh**e, jerk head etc.. I'm very glad that that evened out after a while.
What irked me a little was that Declan thought that nobody actually cared for him and everybody was leaving him. For me that was an injustice to the other characters we already came to love. How many times did Levi cry because of him. Everybody always asked for him, or stood by him or called to make sure he was alright. Not to mention Reese, his best friend for years. With so many people around him being role models to what a healthy relationship should look like as well as years worth of proof that they truely care for him, how can he still believe that he stands alone? Where is the logic in hurting Levi in the past for two whole years, knowing he had feelings for him but keeping him at arms length because he would just be one more to leave him only to be the one to sende him away time and time again? What did he expect would happen as a consequence, at some point every sane person would count their losses and say 'alright I get it, you want me gone'.
But maybe he was actually living in his own little world before Trent broke through his walls. I was glad when, I think it was Reese, his friend set him straight at one point when Declan said that everybody hated him and nobody would want him at the party and Reese? told him what he was talking about, that what he says is not true at all and that they wouldn't keep inviting him if they didn't care for him.
Still I'm happy for Trent and Declan and think that they are a perfect fit and balance each other.
I hope to read about Matty's forever in the near future!

Trent works as a photographer and has no intention of screwing up his life but every time he sees his boss's ex Declan he is more intrigued by him, especially as he is actually a really nice guy. Declan can see everyone around him settling down and being happy and so when Trent gives him the chance to be his friend he knows he can't screw it up and keep him strictly in the friend zone. While both Trent and Declan can feel the pull of the attraction between them they are determined not to damage their friendship. Will they be able to take a chance and let their friendship grow into something more?
I loved this story of the developing close friendship between the two men, their determination to not make life complicated and their eventual fall into something that was inevitable. I loved the complication of their brothers and how they did their best to support each other whenever that was needed. Declan was a really nice guy and I loved what he did for Matty and how he refused to take credit for it as was just determined to keep his secret even if everyone thought the worse of him. Easy to read, feel and understand this was far more like a love story instead of a lust story (even though they definitely lusted after each other too!). I loved the ending. This was an MM story with mature content.

He’s here!!!! The long awaited Declan people. I know I’m not the only one who’s been waiting but at last we have him!
Let’s start by saying this story was soo sweet and their slow building love that started with an amazing friendship by a chance meeting in a club, loved this book. I wasn’t sure what I really expected for Declan I just knew I wanted him to have his HEA. You get so many feels in this book from both Trent and Declan and I think they are perfect for each other faults and all. I did expect there to be a little more angst in this book because of how Declan is but there is little to none and I can’t decided if that’s a good or a bad thing yet. Although they both battled in their own head a lot of the time and you do a get a feel of how their mind works so maybe rather than angst with each other they were at war with themselves? I did like that you got to see into them like they were both showing their souls to us. Also not sure on how I feel about Trent’s brother Evan. Hopefully he’ll have his own book? Hint hint haha.
On the whole I really enjoyed this story and for everyone who has waited for Declan he didn’t disappoint. This is a defo read for everyone but to get the full Declan story start at the begging of this series.

The wait for Declan is over....he is finally here!!! Let me tell you this book was so worth the wait and more. I knew that there was more than meet the eye with this man and that once he found his "true fit" he would fall and hard. That is exactly what Declan did....he fell hard for Trent. They were so perfect for each other. I have a better understanding why Declan didn't do relationships and once we learn about him and what made him who he is....broke my heart. I was hooked from the very first page and hated to see it end...I laughed, swooned, and cried throughout the whole book. Seriously this has to be hands down my favorite book in the series. I highly recommend this book and series to everyone...its a phenomenal series and I can't wait to see what is coming next from this talented author. Well done!!!!

I really wanted to read Declan's story. I've waited for it. And I was so wrong wen I thought that Declan needed Matty. Because totally unexpected Trent is just perfect. Their love is so perfect. They fit. I feel like I witnessed Declan's blooming. He's fun. He's loyal. He's hurt. He's s uch a sweety. I didn't see it in previous Declan ad I think the reson is Trent. And I like how they are with their issues and their mistakes but they are together and they deal with it. I adore their nicknames. They also fit extremely well. This book made me laugh, made me cry a little it made me fall in love with these characters and their chemistry. I just wished them all the best. This is reaaly good story that I enjoyed immensely. By the way I liked Kade he's a cool guy. This book has become my favourite in the series and I'm looking forward for what's cominh next.

They really are a true fit...
Declan and Trent really are perfect together! It all began hesitant, but they became friends, best friends. Declan has been scared by relationships by the very people who are supposed to love you unconditionally, his own parents, his whole family except Kade. Kade is his younger brother who is staying with him while in college and he feels like once he done he will leave as well. He has Trent in his life now but he knows he will leave him too but what he doesn't know that Trent is already falling in love with him. BFF's turns to lovers and dating without him admitting it to himself, he is just so happy with Trent and equally scared of losing him. Trent will do what ever it takes to show and have him believe they were in it together forever. They both In Love with each other and they will happy forever. It was a really sweet love story.

Ahhhh all the stars! Wow.. Declan and Trent are absolute magic, and this story was SO worth the wait. The title could not be more fitting - these two men fit together perfectly. They are so sweet and fun and sexy.. I was glued to the story from start to finish. I adore Trent and how he loves Dec. And I loved finally getting to really know Dec.. I just knew there was a good, sweet, amazing man somewhere under the façade Dec shows the world, but he surprised even me with just how amazing he really is. I am so excited for the next couple it is ridiculous. All I can do right now is gush, so guys - don't wait to read this book because, really, this series keeps getting better and better!

I really enjoyed the whole series, but I think this may be my favorite. Declan was fun in the beginning, then we saw him with Levi still not wanting a relationship and breaking Levi's heart in the process. Then we see him start to realize how lonely he is and he starts to speak with Trent (one of Levi's friends/staff) at a bar one night. Their friendship was one of the things I loved most about this book. It was a real slow burn, but they really be came friends first and got to know each other well before ever deciding to move the relationship to something more. This had a lot of depth to it. I hope there will be more in this series. I really like this universe of characters.

Perfect together
I know this book changed a couple of times before Declan got the one he was ment to be with and I'm so happy it was Trent.
Both men are without family and feels alone and Declan ,who's so burned by his past that he shys away from everything resembling a relationship, knows what everyone is thinking about him.
Trent really is the perfect man for Declan and he doesn't stop showing Trent that he's not going anywhere.
Declan and Trent is now up there as one of my favourite couples in the series together with Levi and Andy.

Trent really is the perfect man for Declan and he doesn't stop showing Trent that he's not going anywhere.
Declan and Trent is now up there as one of my favourite couples in the series together with Levi and Andy.

This was a beautiful, heartwarming story and I absolutely loved it.
Declan was so misunderstood and the sadness that poured out of eyes was heartbreaking.
Trent was sweet, funny and adorable. He grossed me out with his disgusting food tastes lol. He had such a vibrant personality and it came as no surprise why Declan was drawn to him. Trent fills Declan’s life with laughter, smiles, friendship and so much more.
Declan and Trent were perfect for each other and I enjoyed watching their relationship gradually develop from being friends to lovers.

So the entire series is great, read it in order... no argument just believe me. This book is so perfect. The story fits the characters and series so well, the flow is perfect, it's a story you can just sink into and enjoy and wallow in the world.
Declan proves he is nothing like anyone thought he would be. Trent is delightful.
There love story is a bit of a slow burn and so worth their happy ending.

Very badly done for the fourth book in the series. Ever been to a party where you don't know anybody, yet everyone else knows each other? That's what this book felt like. The very first chapter assumes you already know these characters and their backstories. the following chapters brings in so many more characters that it quickly became annoying. The writing wasn't done in a way that made me want to learn more about these characters. Instead I decided to quit the book.

Wow, I loved A True Fit! A beautiful, perfectly paced story that just made my heart so full reading it!
It was so good reading how Trent and Declan's friendship sparked and blossomed, I felt so much for these two.
I truly enjoyed reading this gorgeous book and can't wait to read more in this brilliant series.

All The Yesses!
I love Michelle's books, and I mean all of them, but this is by far and away my favorite. I have to agree that Decs story was definitely worth the wait. I believe with my whole book living heart that this is one of the best plot lines, characters, and stories that I have ever read. Just all the feels on this one.

I've been waiting on Declan's story. He's misunderstood, so getting to know him was a treat. Trent saw past the wall he put up and he stuck with him bc he saw what everybody else couldn't. Both men were vulnerable and insecure. But with each other they could let their guard down. This book was sweet but also will put you in your feelings. I can't wait for the new story.

This series just gets better and better!
3.5 stars!
Declan has been hurt by his family that kicked him out for being gay. Trent was a foster kid who doesn't really have a family. Declan and Trent are friends for a long time before sparks fly but they ignite very fast!
This is a well written-sweet friends to lovers story.
I will definitely read the rest of this series.

OMG
You did it again Michele. I loved this story about the two characters I never thought would get together and fall in love. I know there a real parents out there who treat their kids the way Declan’s parents did and it just breaks my heart can be so cruel when family is supposed to love you unconditionally.

Loved this book!
I was hoping to read what happens to Declan and I was SO hoping he would get his HEA. I mean a few having to give up on loving Reece and not knowing how to love Levi and letting him go I was hoping he would find his forever love. That's what makes Trent so much more adorable! He's Declan's forever. This book is awesome!!

So, this one is my favorite book in the series!! I was a little skeptical at the beginning cause of how Declan was described in the previous books, but as I started reading and seeing things from his point of view, I was surprised and happy. As for Trent, he is the sweetest and the perfect fit for Dec.

Loved it so much
A True Fit was amazing. I really love Declan and Trents story. I laughed, I cried and I fell in love with these men through out the story. This was such a great book and I highly recommend reading

Excellent!!!
Declan and Trent were perfect! A True Fit is now my favorite of the whole Finding My Forever series! I loved the fact that for this book, Michele chose to use dual POV, being able to hear from both of the MCs made it so much better for me.
