I am a wife and mother of two girls, Cassie and Allie. I live in Minnesota and, yes, our winters are legendary! I believe this has a lot to do with my passion for reading and writing, which is something I'd like to make a full time career of sometime in the future. Right now my days are filled with chasing after children in my daycare but at night I chase after my dreams of becoming a popular writer. Most of my books are written with young adults in mind but I am ecstatic when I hear that readers of all ages enjoy them. It's a great motivator and pushes me to keep writing, even when I'm exhausted from wiping noses all day long!
In the conclusion book, Miss Middleton putting too much plot and too much characters into her story. I have to admit, I am confuse with who is who. Billionaire at Sea number 2 has kidnapping plot. So the rom conm turned into suspense romance. What confuse me is using suspense plot, I thought the main focus is still in romance. It turns out Miss Middleton focusing on suspense.
I got a whiplash on the plot. Despite all that, I still enjoy the book OK. The plot has many promise.
The conclusion to Mia and Damian's story picks up where book 1 left off, with kidnappers after Damian's son.
Damian attempts to get the girls off the yacht in darkness as he remains on board with Ransom and his buddies, from this point on its action packed, with evil plotting ex wives, evil clowns and cousins, shootings, deranged ex fiancé's, guns, murder, kidnapping, car crash, FBI, police and so much more... eventually though we get our HEA. Aww
This book was indeed action packed, with some romance thrown in. I enjoyed this book, even though Jake's POV confused me at times and there was also his mother's POV that I didn't understand why it was included but it made sense. I enjoyed the thriller and yes, I would recommend this book
A great finish to this duo! Action packed, full of suspense, thrills, action and adventure. I loved the multi point of view which added depth to the storyline as well as the characters. Wonderful HEA with teasers of more to come maybe?!? Loved the twists and turns that kept me on my toes. Great writing and narration - was a non stop read / listen for me and I hope there is more to come!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review. *this review is based on the audio version of this read
My biggest pet peeve is when authors can't put the whole story in one book. Try thinking about the readers and people that don't have much money. Without us you are nothing. Another thing you put the first book in a box set and than let us know you have to buy the second book, that is sad. You have some greedy editors. Speaking of editors you should rethink the one you have. Tell them to pay attention to the errors cause there is plenty. It was a good story but a little to drawn out.
Billionaire at Sea, Book 2, was an AWESOME ending to the story. A continuation of Book 1, Book 2 has so much action and reveals, that I had to finish it in one reading!! From the ship for the Bachelor's party, to other various places, this continuation has so many surprises and an EPIC ending!!
A romance plus a drama of a kidnapping, with people who were friends, showing their true colors when it all comes down to the rescue in the end. Yes, very enjoyable, edge of the seat drama.
this was more suspense/mystery than romance for this conclusion of the duet. I thought it was more interesting that the first book but I wanted the romance to develop more. The conclusion was satisfying and I was glad that they got their HEA.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.
I absolutely loved it! The second book was so exciting! Lots of action and intrigue! Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! I couldn't put it down!
This is continuation of the story of billionaire at sea, After learning the shocking news about his son, Damian decide to surrender to the demands of the kidnappers and not to risk the lives of everyone on board his ship. So he let Mia and Ridley to escape the boat and reach bay but soon find themselves face-to-face with the person responsible for all of the madness, and it was none other than Mia ex-boyfriend John who is working with Damian wife Marrisa who want to settle the score and want to keep her son with herself as a barter to get money from Damian for life.
But soon things unfold and truth start coming to light when they realise the real intention and death of clowns who was with kidnapper party. Although ,Mia went with John and turned her back on him at appropriate moment and change the course of story but when real culprit, mastermind came to light everyone was shocked and reason was greed to get even with person for past problems. And when everything over Damian confess his love for Mia and she was happy with development
It was an intriguing plot once the action started. I did not like all the back and forth between so many characters. One or two lead characters voices is okay, you lose interest the more it jumps around. I would definitely advise to figure out a wy to move your plot forward with out so many character jumps. The two lead characters are a good match, I do think they jumped in too soon too quick. So it was a little rough to go from the development of two characters falling for each other to then an action plot of kidnapping and such.
The beginning was choppy and it took me a while to understand who the players were. The dialogue was weak, the characters not fully developed, and the plot had long drawn out scenes that should have been edited down.
