Busy People: Vet
People who help us, people who care, busy people are everywhere! It’s a busy day for Mike the vet. There are lots of animals to see on the farm. The ewe is having her lamb and what’s wrong with Prince the dog? An entertaining story, with fun illustrations, and helpful terms explained at the back, along with further topics to think about.

My grandson found this book to be fun to read. He is learning about this subject in school so he got it at the most perfect time. With colorful pictures and very detailed, showing how important each object is. Yes he asked many questions about joining. Very well written with a great story line. I highly recommend this book.
I was given this book from Quarto Knows for an honest review.

Because I love Veterinarians and I want to be one when I grow up. I loved the whole book.

The reason why I said 4 is because I like vets but this was not a real book that has real pictures in it, it could have been like the space book...like non fiction

This was a favorite right away for my 3 year old son who looooves playing doctor and vet. The story mixed with more "nonfiction" elements of showing the vet's tools and such were a big hit with him.

October 30, 2018Again I read this book with a child at a holiday camp after visiting the library. A 7 year old girl chose this book because she is interested in vets and looking after animals. We sat and read this story together and it was very enjoyable. It was a good informative book that gave an insight into the daily lives of vets and what they do. This then sparked a conversation about being a vet and the different types of animals that you could need to look after.
