So great, I haven’t even got the heart to dock a star due to the bloody awful reproduction that mires McMahon’s sumptuous art in places. These first few Slaine takes are just top class fantasy, Pat Mills at his finest, with truly stunning art all round. Just wonderful, and especially great for pagans everywhere.

This hasn't dated as well as I had hoped, I read it first time around in the weekly comics but it's a little stale reading now. The art is brilliant mind and I'm hoping I get more into the story as it progresses - I remember it being really good later on.
