In Japan, there are seven superhuman highschoolers who are world-class geniuses in various fields ranging from governance to economics and beyond. On one fateful day, these seven wind up in a plane accident and wake up only to find themselves in another world.
Finding themselves in a foreign place where magic and beast-people are real, they immediately proceed to panic-or at least that's what would've happened if they were some run of the mill students!!
If anything, these seven are actually using their talents to do absolutely ludicrous things so they can go home...
"Let's take it easy, because if we really let loose, I'm pretty sure we'll end up destroying this world."
7 high school prodigies with varying abilities are transported into a magical land they have no idea how to navigate. Luckily their skills didn't abandon them in this new land and they will have to use their skills to survive and save those around them. A cute story, with some rather large chested women thrown into the mix, and a group of friends with extraordinary talents makes for a fun and interesting read.
I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did. The artist can't draw women's upper bodies to save his life, but the story is a surprisingly trope-free (thus far) isekai adventure with at least one likable protagonist.
The plot seems ready made for an anime series, but what saves this series from being just another retread of isekai anime tropes is that the writer actually tries to deal with big ideas: democracy vs monarchy, human rights vs states' rights, economic advantages of slavery vs human cost, the responsibility of introducing new technology to a less developed civilization, are just some of the themes explored. Each of the 7 students brought to this fantasy world have a power that could change this new world profoundly and listening to them debate and solve their moral dilemmas along with winning the battles is what sets this series apart and makes it so much fun.
