I feel abit sad to see this series finish, as the characters became close to my heart, especially Zoe & Shay. This showcases the notable ability this author has in story development. The realism of the Individuality seat of affections, spirit, thoughts and emotions Kristin Risseghem is able to create is something That appears to exist independently of any book she writes. Leaving her to be able to insert it into any storyline, which brings it alive.
This book concludes this storyline with a fantastic twist, that never entered my mind. I had a fixed idea, that played to it, throughout all the books in the series, so it was a shocker to have it blown to pieces, but brilliant on Kristin Risseghem part. The finality and suspense is much higher in this book, because all the years of protecting Zoe’s real existence which is prophesied to save the end of the world, reaches its conclusion. However after the cliffhanger ending of book 2. She is not able to be with her friends, when they are all needed to deal with the wrath that has been unleashed on the earth. Zoe has to wait until her eighteenth birthday to see if indeed, she is what Keiren & co have been waiting to see if she will become, what they believe she is. Meanwhile more shocking family secrets are revealed. All through this, Love is a common domination, a love that is endless, A Love that has been deprived, A love that has been misunderstood, A love that has United and a love that can tear them all apart. This series gives you friendship, heartache, suspense and mystery. Heart stopping moments, sassiness, Laughter, teeth clenching and horror combined with every emotion you can think of will be felt. If you like Angels & Demons, Faries, shifters and supernatural characters that becomes more than just saving humanity. You will enjoy this series. I have read every book, and been left with continuous feelings of wanting more, even now it has finished, I still want to know what happens to the group characters that grew in my affections. So onwards to finding my next Kristin.D.Van Risseghem read.
