I only got about 2 hours into the book, bit foumd it hard to follow. It just kind of jumps into a part I wouldn't expect. The author also seems to be enfatuated with female breasts, because within like 2 chapters there's a lot of descriptions about it. Also a lot of descriptions of other sexual nature, like ripping of dresses, and borderline rape, so would not recommend parents have a child read this. This is not really my kind of book, I thought it might be. I'm looking more for history, and wanted to try a historical fiction series. Maybe it would get better if I listened, but I decided to switch to something else.

Really wanted to like this one , but i had trouble keeping up with the story at times eg knowing which side was going into battle etc , i simply all too often couldnt tell whether they were Royalists or Roundheads at times
Love the Subject matter though would love to be pointed in the direction of a great read of the ECW
