A prequel in the Prometheus Rising series, which I of read out of order, I read the book after this first, is a post-apocyalptic novel full of spies, gun and sword play, a secret society, a KGB type agency, and quantum mechanics. Yeah, you heard me, quantum mechanics.

Personally, I feel that Eisenstein would've been quite proud of the author, her theory about time was quite remarkable. Speaking of Eisenstein, he is mentioned as well in the story, can't talk about time and timelines without mentioning him. You'll see when you read the book.

The story was very gripping, the characters were as with the last book I read, had depth and you get to know them well. Overall, a very good addition to the story. If you read the first, make sure to pick this one up, it covers a lot of back story!

The Origin of a Legend. Truly Engaging Dystopian Saga.

This is a powerful origin story that sets the foundation of the Prometheus Dystopian Trilogy. At the centre are three friends (eager young boys ready for adventure), a mysterious young woman (with a mission), a scholarly stranger and a frightening taskmaster intent on controlling all that might happen.

Writer Diana Wink creates a masterful world with drama for the ages. She leads us along a tortuous path littered with rich and profound characters, each struggling for understanding and meaning in a world of chaos and conflict.

The story surrounds a host of characters who struggle against events beyond their control. The feeble hope they seek seems beyond their reach. And yet this story may yet be about hope itself.

This heart-wrenching tale will keep you thirsting for more.

I got this book (prequel) as a free e-book after reading the first book. This book is quite catching and relates to an event mentioned in the first book, so i was also driven by curiosity to see what happened. I read the 150 pages quite fast and could hardly stop (normally while reading i sometimes think: it's enough for today. but not in this book.). It feels a little bit like reading a movie. I don't know if it's better to read first the prequel and then the first book, I personally liked not knowing about the event while reading the first book, as id added a little bit more of mystery. Overall really enjoyable to read.
PS: there are some ortographical mistakes (correctly written words but the wrong words, for example year instead of ear)

An amazing story with only the beginning told. It, is difficult for me to put into words how this affected me. The plot tells of a future but what kind.. Several people are inportant , each in their own way, somew had to due in order for others to live. You really need to read this book to understand what I cannot put into words.

What a mixture of time control and a goodly amount of mystery up to the last page. Enough characters but not so many you get lost. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. This is a wonderful story taking boys to men and the woman that 2 of the boys love. Death and story twist made this a fun and enjoyable book. It starts slow and builds to a great ending.
