Sat down and devoured this one. This book is about two brothers who go through so much tragedy in their young lives. From the beginning I got sucked into this story wanting to know more and see what happens. Cody protects his younger brother, Levius, through some pretty crazy situations when it's discovered that he can see things that are going to happen soon (exploding buildings). With a grandmother who cares more about her own needs it's up to Cody to make sure the boys survive. Colorful characters like Bart and the bratty Ben make situations more complicated yet humorous. I do hope though that there will be a sequel to this one since it was left open as to what happens to the boys at the end. Based on this book I would like to read more from Adam and see if I enjoy them as much. I won this book in a goodreads giveaway, thank you!

I enjoyed reading about Cody and his younger brother, Levius. After their parents die, Cody begins to take care of Levius. Soon, Cody discovers that Levius can see disasters before they occur. Sometimes, this makes life harder for the brothers. But, Cody too has a gift.

The book is full of adventure, well-developed characters, and brotherly love.

I enjoyed this read, and I look forward to reading another Adam Darby.

Based on a five-star rating, I give it five stars!
1) Buy from the author in the future? Yes
2) Did it keep me intrigued? Yes
3) Story line adventurous, mysterious, and believable? Yes
4) Would I recommend to a family member/friend? Yes
5) Did my idea of the book based on the cover remain the same after I read the book? Yes. The photograph of a man and young boy (son?) led me to believe the story was about family love.

Cody, the protective older brother of Levius, quickly learns that his younger brother has a special talent; and this talent causes real problems for the two brothers. Full of adventure, mishaps, and love, this book is a compelling read. I received this book as part of the Goodreads Giveaway program.

I liked this book, but didn't love it. After finishing, I was still a little unclear as to the Bart characters motivation.

This book makes you want to keep reading to find out what's going to happen next. It was hard to put down but the ending didn't really feel like an ending.

I got through about 55% of the book. I found it boring and deleted it.
I believe this book is in the wrong genre. It should be in the Young Adult section.
