The LEGO DC Super Heroes are at it again. Batman receives a call related to numerous issues in Gotham, too many for him to handle alone. However, even when Superman, Batgirl, and Wonder Woman arrive, Batman is unable to relinquish even some of his power. He and Superman fight over who will save the town, leaving the women to do all the hard work and cleaning up the detritus that is Gotham's criminal element. When Batman and Superman end up fighting before Joker, things take a turn for the worse, showing that they cannot make progress if they do not work as a team. Neo loves LEGO and these super hero stories, so this was the perfect fit for some breakfast reading.

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew. You don't get better than Lego superheroes at that age!

Basic Plot: Gotham is under attack, Batman and Superman can't decide who should save the city, so Wonder Woman and Batgirl step in.

I thought the overall concept of this book was funny. Completely unbelievable from the context of a superhero fan, but funny nonetheless. The author took Batman and Superman and turned them into hissy-fit throwing children (I want to save people, No *I* get to save them! Sheesh). If it weren't an oversimplified children's book, I would never go for it. It was still a bit hard to swallow. The funny part, of course, is that the women step in and fix things while the men are arguing. I love it when Wonder Woman gets a chance to shine, even in a silly kids' book. The fact that Batgirl also got some page time was a nice addition. Overall, a fun book.

I love, love, love that the girl heroes, Wonderwoman and Batgirl saved the day in this book. However, the line, "Batman and I aren't really friends. He's more like my boss, says Batgirl" really got under my skin. Not necessary!

A fun superhero book which gives the valuable lessons that your friends don't always act like friends (and you don't always act like a friend to your friends!) and that we work better when we work together. It also allows the female characters to triumph while the male characters bicker, which is just fine in the DC and Lego universe.

My children absolutely adore this book. Reading literature is so important to the development of a child's mind, and I cannot think of thing I would rather do then sit down to read to them in the evenings. Imagination and growth are so vital in those so young.

Superman and Batman get into a measuring contest leaving Batgirl and Wonder Woman to do all the work. Much more real than I was expecting my Lego DC Comics Super Heroes to be.

My daughter has been on a superhero kick lately and picked this book out at the library this weekend. She "read" it several times before I read it to her at bedtime. It's a picture book/comic hybrid where Batman and Superman spend most of the book arguing so Batgirl and Wonder Woman end up taking care of all the problems with villains and other issues in the city on their own. My daughter likes the part where they rescue a cat in a tree (it was Catwoman actually).

It's kind of a "girl power" book.

I gave this book 100 stars.

I liked it when they got along, but I did not like it when they were fighting.
