An interesting take on the theme of kids leaving the nest that they have outgrown.

This is a strange story about a mouse family that adopts and raises a hamburger (with relish) eating frog who outgrows the house. The illustrations are pretty poor but there's a hipster vibe to the story.

it is one of my favorite childrens books. it is a great story for kids off all ages!

Our children have this book memorized! It is a house favorite and also, a favorite from my own childhood. Love it everytime--never gets old!
