So beautifully illustrated, which is what first attracted me to this, but the retellings of the stories were so abbreviated that I was really disappointed. Written for children, but even as a child I would have preferred more magic in the myths.

Great collection of stories to expand children, multi-culturally! I'm considering keeping for my personal collection.
