It depends what you're looking for as to how much this book will appeal to you.
👎 This is dated. It was published in 1991, over 30 years ago. So if you want something that is current as far as interior decorating, well you might want to find something else.
👍 That said, there is plenty that can be gleaned from here. Great, detailed illustrations for the projects. Projects included in the book vary from bedding (spreads, skirts, padded headboards) to curtains to chests and storage boxes. All of these can be adapted for contemporary fabrics and colors.
So if you can look past the dated looks, there is plenty to learn here.
