Wilde would do anything for her little Camden…..her sick son….so she decided to take advantage of one dance for $5,000.00….Jahlil was the city’s mayor that had a crush on Wilde and paid her for one dance and also ended up coming to her aid by getting some much needed medical insurance for Camden. Cute, quick read.

Wilde was definitely a bit Reckless in the first installment of this series!
As a single mother stripping to not only make ends meet but also cover medical bills for her sick baby, Wilde doesn’t know whether she’s coming or going!
Well she definitely did some cumming after the Mayor showed up to the spot for a good time. What was initially meant to be a conversation turned into a lust filled evening that left both the Wilde and the Mayor wanting more!
On to book two to see where these two are headed!

Grey has a way with words. She does a great job of painting pictures with her words. This story was short but good. I can't wait to read the next one in this series.

I was looking for a short read with a little spice and that is exactly what I got.
I love Grey's full novels, but her novellas give you a lot in a short time.
Wilde was a single mother sacrificing to pay the medical bills of her sick child. One night she has an encounter with Jhalil, the young Mayor of her city...and it's a life changing experience for both of them. Their connection seemed to be instant and I'm eager to see where this leads.

Really Liking This One!!!
Grey Huffington is such a wordsmith, so unlike the norm, as she blazes a trail that all of her fans will surely follow. This may be my favorite story of her commendable body of work. On to the next book!!!

So nice I read it twice
***Updated to say there is a book 2 so hopefully my questions will be answered and I love this for me.***

This book was so quick, I started over from the beginning. I really enjoyed the instant chemistry between these characters but it really left me with unanswered questions. This is a NTMA(new to me author) so maybe my questions would be answered if I read previous books but the cover put a stronghold on me and I had to have it and read it NOW! I love the writing style, the character description, the inner dialogue, the conversation...etc. there was a lot of goodness wrapped up in a story so short. I enjoyed it, but need to know some things. Is this it? Do we get to see more of them? Was there a fallout from the actions they both took? I have questions that need answers. Glad I found this author because they obviously know how to spin a story and leave me wanting more.

Saving Grace
OMG right now I'm sooooooo upset and just thinking like this can't be the end because it just started. Oh how Jalil was her saving grace from a wild night and that gained him so much respect. The way Wilde sacrifice everything for her child was just amazing, and to me any REAL mother would do the same. Again Grey did her thing with the pen and it was amazing. Loved every minute of it!!!

Wilde & Reckless surprised me in the best way. What I expected to be a quick, steamy read turned into a story that actually touched my heart. Wilde’s strength, determination, and love for her son made me root for her from the very first page. Her struggles felt real, and I admired how hard she fought even when life kept stacking the odds against her.
Jhalil was everything I love in a leading man — confident, protective, and intentional. The chemistry between him and Wilde was undeniable, but what really got me was the emotional depth behind their connection. It wasn’t just passion; it was care, respect, and genuine desire to show up for each other.
Grey Huffington’s writing pulled me in so easily that I finished this in one sitting. The story was sexy, emotional, and satisfying all at once. I closed the book smiling and wishing there was more.

Wilde, when a mother loves her child...
Wilde was determined to get her son the medical attention he needed by any means necessary, but in doing so, somewhere along the line she doubted her worth and didn't think she was good enough for a certain kind of man.
Jahlil saw who he wanted and was relentless in going after her. He didn't GAF about what anyone thought or had to say. Now if he could just get the one that he has his eyes set on to see things like him, he will achieve what he has set out to do. But if she didn't get her act together, he would have to cut his losses and move on through life without her

Yeah This Is Good!!
Oh my!I think I am in love with story and this writer.I love that when you chose select a story and immediately you are engulfed.This story not only has good character development but the storyline is good.The writer gives us the all the anticipation and chemistry we can handle.This was so good that when it ended I was on the edge about to scream.I can't wait for the next installment and I'm so so happy that I've discovered a new writer and its one I have to share with friends.

Wilde is a dancer who has to take care of her child. Jhalil is the mayor and can't be caught doing things he shouldn't be doing. He is trying to get reelected. One night out, Jhalil and Wilde connect, but what they didn't expect was to catch feelings. This was a great story of being with the right person at the wrong time. Jhalil and Wilde were more than they expected in each other. This story was beautiful, and I enjoyed getting to know them and their story.

I am usually not a big fan of novellas. the appetizer never feels me up. always left wanting more. maybe this was easier to digest for me because I knew it was a series of novellas. in this book we meet Wilde and Jhalil. these two couldn't be from more different worlds. Wilde is a single mother who strips to pay for her sons medical treatments. jhalil is the mayor of the city. when he visits her stripclub, he is enchanted by Wilde. they have one night to remember and it rocks both their worlds. let's see what comes of their encounter in the next installment.

Your style of writing Grey is awesome. The way the characters and storyline meshes together and come to life like a movie playing in my head is amazing. This story has a very different kind of meet cute that I'm not use to reading about , but non the less it is a very, very interesting one. Sometimes we fear the idea more so the actions that goes a!not with the idea. For Wilde she feared the idea of LOVE! Great Read! 👍

What a beautiful and touching story. Way to short but this is what makes it special. One night spent with the Mayor and he took it upon him self to take care of her problem with getting insurance for her sick son. She was a mother who danced in a strip club because the money was good and she was unable to get insurance for her sick son. He was born with with a medical condition with prevented her from retaining insurance.

New favorite author!
This writer writing is like a breath of fresh air and I am so smitten with it. Wilde is doing what she needs to do as a mother to make sure her kid medical bills are paid and a chance at meeting Jhalil I think her story is just gonna go up from here. Their brief encounters were out of this world and the ending had me a little choked up. Beautiful job!

Short and Sweet💣💣
I love the chemistry that Jhalil and Wilde had from the beginning. He desired her the moment that he saw her and she was to him as well. They broke one another's rules and ended up at a point of no return crossing many lines. He went after what he want and once the dust settled, gave her some of the things that she needed the most.

Baby this book right here is the one
First let me just say the author did a spectacular job. I have ready so many books I usually skip over intimate scenes because after a while they all start to sound the same but I didn’t skip a word. The scenes were hot steamy and had me wishing I was Wilde.
