I've always wanted to visit Hawaii. So reading about it in a book, is no hardship. Amber & Jack are both in Hawaii for a doctors conference. Amber just cant face the conference anymore, so she moves onto the bar. There she meets a very jet lagged Jack, where they proceed to have a drink and share a meal. I loved the banter between them, when discussing whether they were called fries or chips.
When they meet the next day Amber learns he is a doctor, she is disappointed, as she has sworn off dating doctors, ever since a relationship ended badly. When a hurricane hits, they both rush in to help, grabbing the essentials they head out in too the the hurricane devastated island forced into close proximity. Will it help Jack convince Amber they are meant to be together?
Highly recommended for fans of medical contemporary romance.

Dr. Amber Berkeley doesn’t date doctors, but there’s something about the man she’s just met at the hotel where she’s attending a conference. However, when disaster strikes Hawaii and the pair begin working together to help the injured, Amber knows she can’t ignore the intense chemistry she shares with Jack. Will Amber take a chance on Jack or will they lose their shot at happy ever after because Amber finds it hard to trust a man of her profession? Read More

This is a fast paced story set in Hawaii, two doctors arrive for a conference and meet in the bar neither are ready to fall in love but when a hurricane arrives to turn their lives upside down, falling in love has a way of just happening for the right people and these two are so good together witty banter will keep you smiling.

Dr Amber Berkley works with the infectious diseases department and has arrived at the conference to give her presentation on meningitis, she has no plans to start a relationship, she has been there and walked out and she is never going to be pushed around by any male, but meeting the Scotsman at the bar sends sparks through her and an unexpected night spent together and a hurricane arriving the next morning could change her no doctor dating rule.

Dr Jack Campbell has been in the army and is in Hawaii to speak about a new product that could save lives, he has a lot to decide on as in a new job and he is still getting over losing the woman he loved, but when he meets the pretty and lively woman at the bar, he is shocked at the feelings he has and then disaster strikes with the hurricane he steps up to do what he can to help and together they work well.

This is a great story both Jack and Amber have been through a lot and Jack’s take charge attitude is not what Amber needs and with him wanting to protect her, Amber is fighting her feelings all of the way, but true love has a way of seeing happiness shine through, this is a story that I highly recommend, it is moving and beautiful as Amber breaks her rule of no doctor dating and Jack and Amber join together, thank you MS Wilson for a wonderful story.

A race against time! An exciting story of doctors pulling together when a huge disaster is barreling down on them in order to help as many people as possible. Each of the main characters had their own story of heartbreak to share, and each dealt with life's circumstances differently. An entertaining read!

When Dr. Amber Berkeley agrees to speak at a conference in Hawaii, she doesn't know it's going to change her life! Amidst the craziness of a natural disaster, Amber meets a man she's instantly drawn to ... the only problem is, she has a rule against dating fellow doctors!

Army doctor Jack Campbell is at the conference to present a new product he's hoping will save many lives. He never expected to find a woman who is the first to make his blood stir in years, but now that he's found her, he's not going to stand by and let her walk away that quickly just because of what he does for a living!

LOCKED DOWN WITH THE ARMY DOC by Scarlet Wilson

Dr. Amber Berkeley met Dr. Jack Campbell who is an Army Doc. She has always made a point to never date a fellow doctor. They did not know either and did not realize they were both there for the conference. She represented the Disease Prevention Agency and he was talking about a product that would stop bleeding and potentially save lives that otherwise would be lost.

Dr. Berkeley is a Milwaukee gal and Dr. Campbell is a Scottish man.But they met each other at the conference in Hawaii. Amber had always dealt with her father who had to always be in charge and always the right one. Here there is a hurricane and they find themself thrown together and she sees so much like her father in him that she wants to run the other direction.

This disaster shows that rules were meant to be broken.

Truly loved the story and hoped that the two might make a great couple despite how she felt.

Dr. Amer and Jack are attending a conference in Hawaii. Little did they expect to be stuck during a hurricane with a new string of Meningitis that seems to be popping up with a couple people, luckily that's Ambers focus. While she tries to treat the small amount of people Jack is there for everyone else needs. Amber has a no dating doctors rules and Jack seems to fall into that category but they can't seem to stop the heat.

I loved this book there it was pretty much non-stop with the problems that rose up causing these two to be the ones to help out. I loved seeing them working together. I loved seeing that connection between the two and getting to see the reasoning behind Ambers no dating doctors rules. I loved that they were pretty selfless putting making sure that others got the help that they needed. Overall this was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.

I've not had a very good time with medical romances lately. It was a genre I used to love but, the last few I've picked up have been disappointing. Unfortunately Locked Down with the Army Doc didn't end my rut.

I really enjoyed the hurricane sections of this book, and I thought the chemistry in the opening pages between Jack and Amber was enjoyable. That was about all the joy I got from this. Locked Down with the Army Doc isn't a bad book it just wasn't interesting enough for me. The chemistry seemed to bleed away, and the romance moved too fast.

I had really hoped that Locked Down with the Army Doc was going to end my reading rut, sadly, it ended up making it worse.

Dr. Amber Berkeley has a rule she keeps, never date a doctor. Sounds like a great idea until she is attending a conference about diseases. She meets army doctor Jack Campbell and together they try to help with the problem of meningitis. This being Amber's field they are basically working together endlessly her with the meningitis and him with the other problems. When a hurricane traps them the chemistry can no longer be denied. You will enjoy how Ambers plans about dating doctors falls by the wayside when the Karma between them is stronger than her plans.

"Locked Down with the Army Doc" by Scarlet Wilson will keep the reader on their toes with the riveting medical drama. Going down for a medical conference, but getting caught up in a hurricane wasn't on Dr. Amber Berkeley or Dr. Jack Campbell's. She is trying to contain a string of meningitis during the hurricane and he developed a product that will help stop bleeding during his tour with the Army. Loved this story.

I really enjoyed this medical romance but at times it was really intense. I received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. It starts out like many romances but quickly pulled me in as things started spinning. A hurricane quickly heads towards them and from there, it quickly turns to chaos. When necessities meets survival and routine meets flying by the seat of your pants, find out how this community works this out. I rated this clean romance a 5*.

This is an intense race to get things done while in the midst of a hurricane. Amber and Jack are constantly helping each other help the patients who come down with meningitis and other diseases. Even with Amber's no dating a doctor rule the chemistry can't be helped. This book is continuous with disasters and a great read.
