4 more issues and this entire series will be over. I won't read the next Darth Vader series without reading the star wars series of 2015, all are plans probably for 2026, but we will see. Also I can't wait to see which series I choose to start and finish next. So, about this story; Darth Vader is finally going after Cylo. I am 100% sure at this point that Cylo is the final boss! I think it's a good story, took its sweet time to pick up and become interesting, but we are harvesting the fruits of the excruciatingly slow pace this series started with. I have no doubt in my mind that if I read the first 10 issues they will all get rerated 1 star less at least.
I thought that there would be more in this issue. The first part with Doctor Aphra reuniting with the evil droids looks promising. The second part was just okay. I hated seeing Cylo and his minions for some reason. They have no place in the Star Wars universe. (Lol that might be too much but that's my personal opinion.)
This one's a very "Guardians of the Galaxy" galaxy. So colorful!
Seriously, Aphra may be one of my favorite characters in anything right now, and Vader, who I never quite got the love of, has made it as a true calculating villain after these issues of the comic.
General, generic comic progressing the story along as the series winds down over the next few issues. I was honestly hoping for something more. I think the finale is going to be uninspired. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Overall so far the series has been great, one of the best comics series I have read. I would have preferred if more time into Darth Vader looking and attempting to fight Luke would have been great. Also, new characters of Doctor Aphara and her two droids called Triple Zero and Beetie who are very similar to R2-D2 and C-3PO with the banter but with a very amusing twist, they are programmed to kill and torture. Darth Vader has been a badass so far in the series. I have a couple of issues left which I hope are going to be exciting.
It's nice to see Tulon Voidgazer finally doing something. I'm a bit confused about what the creature at the end is supposed to be, though. And apparently Morit is back as a hologram?

Vader begins his search for Cylo in earnest, tracking the traitorous scientist to a nebula in the Outer Rim. Triple Zero and BT-1 head to a different world to apprehend the renegade Doctor Aphra. The questions is, will the settlement be in one piece when they leave?
The droids are getting so ruthless in recent issues. The way Triple Zero interprets his orders from Vader is completely in his own interest, even when it comes to Aphra. He really just wants to kill and destroy! It used to be kind of funny, but now it’s just getting scary! BT-1 just follows along adding to the death and destruction. They really are a merciless pair. I’m sure they’ll survive this arc because they’re very popular, but will they be able to be reined in at all?
Vader proves he’s just as ruthless, if not quite as destructive this issue. He pressures a former colleague of Cylo’s to give him up and still leaves the man in a difficult situation. We see a little of the recklessness of Anakin Skywalker this issue too, when Vader is piloting his TIE Advanced. Kinda fun to see him really be a bit of a barnstormer!
Another fun, yet scary issue of this excellent book!
