If you are at all interested in learning AE expressions, this book is bar-none, the best tool you can have.

There are so few resources on learning expressions, and this was certainly a very good one, but knowing a bit of how to write JavaScript, I was a bit put off by the "this is a bit of magic that I'm not really going to explain" tone of the writing. I understand it's not a JavaScript manual, but I think even non-coders would gain more by treating the language as a grammar to learn without so much hand-waving trying to apologize for all of this code. Expressions *are* code. Embrace it.
