Lodge cast iron skillets and pans are well known, why not find out what I should be cooking in them? Turns out, everything. While I did find a few recipes here that look promising, for the most part, I found this book to simply be a promotion of Lodge cast iron. The recipes are a collection from Lodge family and employees and chefs around the country. The emphasis is heavily on southern cooking as well. I found it all to be a little too self-promoting, not carrying the fun head notes that I look forward to in a cookbook.

Yes, the recipes are wonderful, but tying everything together are the little cast iron memories sprinkled throughout. This inspires me to branch out and try some new things with my Lodge
