I’d lived a privileged life, in the lap of luxury and surrounded by family. It had felt like I was on top of the world...until tragedy struck.

My sense of loss felt bottomless, and I struggled with it every single day. Finding my path back into the light seemed impossible.

But then I met Faith—she was smart, sexy, and out of my league even though she didn’t have a penny to her name. We grew up in different worlds, but somehow we fit perfectly together.

Except neither of us had counted on learning that our connection was more profound than we knew.

Serenity completes Dillon & Faith's story, which began in Fortuity.

I absolutely adore reading - always have and always will. My friends growing up used to tease me when I would trail after them, trying to read and walk at the same time. If I have downtime, odds are you will find me reading or writing.

I am the mother of two wonderful sons who have inspired me to chase my dream of being an author. I want them to learn from me that you can live your dream as long as you are willing to work for it.

When I told my mom that my new year's resolution was to self-publish a book in 2013, she pretty much told me "About time!"

I thought that Fortuity broke my heart and made me ugly cry with the cliffhanger, emotion and plot. Rochelle dropped a bombshell in Serenity, I cried, laughed and rejoiced reading it. Faith and Dillion, fate is rampant in their story. Rochelle couldn't of written a better duet, this blew my hopes and expectations away. It is one of my favourite collection I've read in a long time. I appaud her, putting so much emotion, thought and heart into it. It is beautifully thought out and well written, I was captivated.

There are no words that I can try to say to describe the emotions running through me right this instant after finishing this beautiful and emotional story. I cried, I laughed, I swooned, I wanted to jump through the pages and throw a punch (or like 10 punches, but hey who's counting ;)) at someone (not spoiling who though), and I cried again, then at the ending of Serenity, I was happy, with happy tears streaming down my face and also a bit sad that this beautiful story ended but I was mostly just happy that Faith and Dillon got their happily ever after <3

Rochelle Paige did an amazing and beautiful job writing this duet and I'm honored to have had read this :) <3

This couple goes through a lot of shocks; secrets are discovered and revealed that rock their foundation of everything they thought they knew; obstacles that get in their way but they persevered even when a mistake or two was made (don't worry guys, there's no ow/om drama and definitely no cheating; these two love each other intensely and their love is true for one another... no matter what).

This was a very emotional story from beginning to end but you won't regret reading it, especially with the beautiful happily ever after that Rochelle Paige gives us for Faith & Dillon <3 <3

Awww.... I'm utterly and completely in awe: Serenity was the PERFECT conclusion for this brilliant Fortuity Duet!

I'd already fallen in love with Faith and Dillon on the first part of the duet, and thought Rochelle Paige couldn't make me love this two any more than I did. Well, guess I was wrong, because Serenity completely stole my heart.

“Nothing worth having comes easy.”

Ms. Paige couldn't have found a better motto for this family, and story. It fitted them to perfection.
For an New Adult, I was surprised and adored the maturity of these two. Serenity is not only a story about love and healing, but also strengthening, and mostly trust in one another- Of growth as individual as well as in a relationship. The way Dillon and Faith relied on one another and how realistically they overcame their obstacles, just warmed my heart, and revealed the beauty of their love.

“Love isn’t supposed to hurt like this,” I sobbed into his chest.
“You’ve got it all wrong, baby. The people we love are the only ones who can truly hurt us.”

I won't reveal to much, but I have to stand out that meanwhile book one was more focused on Faith, her journey, her past, her thoughts and emotions, and what an intense ride it was. This second part we get to know Dillon better, and realize his feelings and emotions, his struggles and his love for Faith and his family, are just as powerful as Faith's in the first book. SO yes, Rochelle made me cry yet again, but just proves exactly how potent the emotional charge is on this brilliant duet. And since I'm a major sucker for a male POV, you could say I was in cloud nine with this one! ;)

“You can’t possibly be jealous of your mattress. It’s an inanimate object, and one you sleep on next to me at that!”
“Don’t you get it yet, baby?” I slid my fingers down her spine, and she arched into me. “I’m a little bit jealous of anything that gets to touch your perfect skin.”

Fortuity Duet was without a doubt one of the most beautiful and emotional love story I've had the pleasure of reading. Brilliant concept, fast paced but complex development of the storyline, one hell of a twist on this one I did NOT see coming - which rarely happens for me, lol -, extraordinary characters, not only Faith and Dillon (which were so incredibly real!) but also his parents, whom I fell for just as much, and to top it of, an epic, once-in-a-lifetime love story, that shows us in depth just how powerful and healing a true love can be! A unparalleled story of Hope, Faith and Love! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I held on to Faith like she was my lifeline—because that’s exactly what she was.

"You’ve changed my whole world for the better.”

Whatever it is, it’s not going to change my feelings for you, Faith. I love you. Today. Tomorrow. Always.”

Once again we rejoin Faith and Dillion are their journey to finding their happily ever after, and just as the first installment this one comes with lots of drama, toe curling romance, and heartfelt emotion that gets the feels swirling around. At the end of the first installment Faith had just discovered some unexpected news that she worried would alter her relationship with Dylan and his parents, but she knew before things went any further she had to tell them. But telling them could push them away, and they are the only family she has ever really had, and losing that would seriously break her heart. But just as her news breaks more unexpected developments come to light and they have the potential to divide this family and couple once again... question is will they let it, or use it to bring them all closer together?

Serenity is the powerful and touching conclusion to the Fortuity duet, and just as the first installment it is sure to have your heart feeling like it's in a vise, and the tears welling more than a few times! I thoroughly enjoyed this duet; it packed a powerful punch, and brought light to a subject I haven't seen covered too often in romance stories, it was enlightening and very uplifting! I appreciated the time and care the author put into these characters, and their beautiful story, the writing was amazing, and you couldn't help but get attached to the characters. This is a can't miss read that is sure to win romance readers over, it's one of those reads that hits ya deep in the heart, and it sure to linger long after the last page is turned!

This duet really has a great message to it. We should love hard, forgive often and never take for granted the blessings in our life.

Dillion and Faith were such sweet and loving couple. With Faith's medical history, a lot of men would be too scared to get close to her. I loved how Dillion never wavered where Faith was concerned.

I worried about what was revealed at the end of book one but I knew no matter how long it would take, Dillion would come to terms and this couple would be ok. That's how much you feel the love he has for her.

What I wasn't expecting was a few surprises that happened along the way which ultimately carried another great message. No mater how perfect people seem to be, they are only human and make the best of their situations that they can.

This was a great duet if you want to see love at first site, a protective alpha hero and an incredibly sweet heroine. Their story is sweet with some road bumps along the way that show us how well these two work as a couple.

I would like to put it on record that I held it together – did not shed a single tear – until the very last page. Curse you, Rochelle Paige. I just lost my own inner bet. And now the waterworks just won’t quit. So this review is written with mascara running down my face. Just the way the author intended it, I’m sure.
Story Line: Serenity is book two of two. You must read Fortuity first, otherwise you will be completely and utterly lost. But trust me here, you do NOT want to miss out on either one of these books. Faith and Dylan got together in book 1. Then a major mic drop at the end left us screaming at our kindles saying “Oh come on!”. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait too terribly long for the second half of their story. Because we know what we know from book one, it’s no spoiler that Faith received Dylan’s twin brother’s kidney that saved her life. Declan sadly passed away after a horrific car accident. Finding out it was Declan’s kidney was a huge shock since the two love birds were sure the timing was off. Except not everything is as it seems.
Serenity picks up right were Fortuity leaves off. Dylan spirals. Faith slips into depression. It’s a hot mess. Thankfully as the truth bombs are dealt, they decide to handle them together, as opposed to apart. And seriously, thank the lord Jesus H Christ they do. Because my heart palpitations could not take these two not being together for more than a minute. And Rochelle made me wait several chapters to get to this point. Insert evil squinty eyes here.
Interaction: I’m not going to lie to you guys here, you’re not going to be happy with Dylan. And you’re definitely not going to be happy with Faith. Dylan goes back to old habits. And Faith, our dear sweet Faith, who always takes such meticulous care of herself – doesn’t. It’s awful. It’s super scary. And since I know you’re bouncing with the suspense, yes they get their happily ever after. But it’s a bumpy ride. No, scratch that. It’s a jagged cliff they’re climbing – without safety gear. So hold on tight, it’s about to get real.
Laundry: I almost don’t want to address this because I honestly, I don’t want to take away from the depth and complexity of the story. But because I’m the “Laundry Librarian” and lets face it, laundry is important. Yes, there’s laundry in this book. Yes it’s yummy to read. But even these scenes are deep and meaningful. I’m thinking of one scene in particular that almost had healing qualities to it. Incredible.
Depth: So, you know that imaginary rug that was pulled out beneath us in Fortuity? Yeah, now imagine that same rug and two more beneath your feet. They’re about to be ripped out too. Just prepare your tailbone for the multiple falls. Obviously, it was a huge shock to learn that Faith was alive because of Declan’s donation after he passed. But then there’s more. Sweet lord, there’s more and I think I need to go to church and pray for this fictitious family because my heart just aches for them. This family. They are without a shadow of a doubt, the strongest people I have ever read about. They have gone through the worst, and came out as the most incredible people in the book world. It was an absolute pleasure reading about them and their journey to where they are now.
And just so you know, it’s the final 3 paragraphs. Grab a box of tissues and a carton of ice cream. You’re going to need it.
Serenity comes out in just days! Make sure you add it to your TBR list NOW!

3 'love isn’t logical' Stars.

This cannot be read as a standalone. Fortuity must be read first.

This book picks up where book 1 finished. I’m also going to be a bit vague here.

Recap of the characters;

From the day Faith was born the cards were stacked against. But she is now leading the life that she wants to lead and has opened up her heart and let down her walls towards Dillon.

I still liked Faith so nothing has changed although I didn’t entirely feel as if she was such a tough girl.

Dillion is the complete opposite of Faith. He comes from a loving family, although he suffered great loss he had a support system.

I still can’t agree with the supposed chemistry that I was to see, read and experience and I skimmed the sex scenes they had together because it came across as tad mundane.
Faith has decided to deal with her past and moving on with her future she has revealed revelations that neither Faith nor Dillon would have expected.

One twist was obvious but not the other one and the decisions that all they were all involved in voluntary and not voluntary was well written, Ms. Paige has the heartfelt moments down pat, it was those moments in between that lacked the balance to the heartfelt moments, the banter or forced banter felt so out of place.

Just because I wasn’t wowed by this book doesn’t mean you won’t be.

I wanted this book so much. When Fortuity ended, I didn't know what to do with myself. I wanted to read Serenity IMMEDIATELY. I knew it was going to be epic, and it was. It was so epic I'm seriously struggling on what to write for this review. Rochelle Paige wrote ALL THE WORDS and I don't know if I have any left to explain how amazing this book was.

Fortuity was told mostly from the point of view of Faith, and if you found yourself wanting more time in Dillon's head, well you're sure going to love Serenity. You get a better look at Dillon, and it is epic. I mean, their relationship was fairly easy when they got together and the cliffhanger at the end of Fortuity left me going no no no no no. Of course they were going to have issues. How could they not?

BUT MAN, do those issues snowball. No matter what, though, these two come together. They face the world together. There's drama, BOY is there drama. Drama that sends Dillon and Faith spiraling for a hot minute. They're left to question everything they thought they knew, everything they thought they were so sure of.

I loved the second in this duet because often when we're reading romances, we read them falling in love, and that love is tested, but we don't see them working through that test. It's fixed and then BAM epilogue. Reading these two hold onto their love, and reading them actively work on themselves as individuals and a couple, but also read them support each other and their struggles, was amazing and different and stunning and totally run-on-sentence worthy.

Like I said, I knew Serenity was going to be epic, but I didn't expect this total masterpiece. When I'm ready to bawl my eyes out (again-I'm a crier. I cry for everything) I'm going to do a re-read. They're totally worth it. I bow to Rochelle Paige and her awesomeness. Totally epic. I'm running out of words to explain how much I loved this book, this duet, and I can't talk about it too much without adding spoilers, so I'm going to shut my mouth and say you NEED to read this duet.

I liked the first book in this duet but I loved this one. Dillon and Faith have a lot to work through together and separately. I loved how after a setback they did that together, having each other’s backs no matter what. And the epilogue was so sweet and heartwarming. I had a big ol’ smile on my face. This duet just proves why this author is a favorite of mine.

**4.5 Stars**

**Disclaimer: You must read the first book, Fortuity, prior to this as that is the beginning of Dillon and Faith's story.**

In this conclusion, we get more of Dillon's POV, which I loved. We see the tragedy that shaped Dillon through his memories, and how meeting and falling in love with Faith has helped him start to heal.

At the end of Fortuity, Faith discovered something she fears could ruin everything she's found, and she isn't sure, not to mention she's scared, how to tell Dillon and his family.

Dillon knows Faith is upset about something, but she isn't letting him in and it's frustrating. He continues to show his love for her, wanting her to be assured of her place in his life. When he admits to thinking about their future, marriage and kids, Faith knows she has to tell him.

When she does, Dillon reacts...badly, but, in his defense, it was a bombshell and she had kept it from him for a week. Knowing he doesn't want to say something he'll regret, he leaves, devastating Faith, and begins a downward spiral to how he was pre-Faith and post-Declan, his twin that passed away five years ago.

As Dillon tries to come to grips with Faith's news, he essentially pushes her away, causing Faith to start her own spiral, and for someone with her history, that could be fatal.

Thankfully, Dillon pulls his head out of his...err, from where it was, and does what he can to fix what he hurt by his actions. Is he still hurt and upset with not only Faith but also his parents? Of course. It's a huge thing they kept from him, but after speaking with his loved ones, and begging Faith to forgive him for essentially abandoning her - something she struggles with because of her past - Dillon is hit yet again with the opposite of all he'd been told. This time though, with Faith by his side, he knows forgiveness won't come as easy because two people he'd thought would never lie to him, and with something so life changing, did, and it's a lot to process.

He realizes, after some serious soul-searching and Faith, the love of his life, that everyone involved was put in a difficult situation and some leeway is much deserved.

Does Faith's revelation change how Dillon feels about her? Will he doubt the truth of their love? What happens when Dillon is essentially in the same situation as Faith? Will he be able to accept it? Or once more return to his previous ways of coping? Can Dillon's relationship with his parents be repaired? Can he and Faith move past this and get the HEA they both deserve?

One-click now and follow along as two people already in love must face obstacles no one should have to and decide if they can overcome them. This book was just...man, the emotions. Rochelle has the ability to make you literally feel the characters' pain, as if you're going through it with them. I was sad to see their story end, but fervently hope there will be more, perhaps books for Corey, Dillon's best friend who seems to be struggling with family issues, and Christine, Faith's friend, who seems to have her own issues. I'd love to know more about them and their struggles while they each find their own HEA. I also wouldn't mind seeing Kyle and Emily, characters from Fortuity, as we got a glimpse of their story and it intrigued me.

Rochelle Paige is back with the much anticipated conclusion to her Fortuity duet and what a book Serenity was. Sexy. Sweet. Emotional. Second chances. Dillon and Faith exploded onto my kindle from the very beginning and left my heart so full. I loved every single moment that they gave me and by the end, I totally had tears in my eyes.

Questions. Answers. Secrets. Truths. Revelations. You have no idea what lies ahead for these two...

Life hasn't been easy at all for Dillon and Faith yet the love and bond they share is worth every moment they have to fight fire their forever. Will they be able to push through and get everything they deserve? Explosive chemistry. Great banter. Magnetic connection.

You better believe I highly recommend this book.

I have read this conclusion to Fortuity in a matter of hours. Again, Serenity, has been just as emotional and heart wrenching, as Fortuity was while reading it. Did I expect any less? No. Was I prepared? Yes. Tissues on the table beside me.
The story is started with Dillon and Deacon's accident and from then on it is a fallout of emotions. Then it fast forwards 5 year and we are at the point where Fortuity ends. Faith finding out who her donor was and then having to find a way to tell Dillon.
I loved the way it was written and couldn't find a better story to read, or way to curb the emotions. It's one I would recommend to all to read.

Sigh.... What a conclusion to the story of Dillon and Faith. I was not ready for this duet to end. I fell in love with Faith and Dillon's journey and wanted more. Faith has to be one of the strongest women I know. She has been through so much in her life to be thrown more at her just when everything was finally where it needed to be. Dillon... oh Dillon.... through his struggle with the knowledge of his brother's death, I was go glad that he was able to work through everything that was thrown at him as well. he might have had a lapse of judgement at one point, but his love for Faith was always there.
This book gave me all the feels. I cried, laughed, swooned, you name it. As I'm writing this review, I'm currently rockin a severe book hangover because I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for more. I'm curious to see if Corey and Christine will get their own books.

Epilogue is 7 years out and oh so good!!! and of course, I cried again!!! (Happy tears of course)

This was greater conclusion for the cliffhanger emotional first part of the duet Fortuity. Serenity gave me more tears, more hope, more laughs and of course more love. Faith and Dillion’s story is such a moving a love story but also a journey of relationships in general. How you have to work with someone who is sick, what is needed when the road get rough and bumpy….

It is an incredible journey from Fortuity to Serenity and there is not a word you will not want to miss reading. Have tissues ready, because, Rochelle’s ass likes to makes us want to cry and she is winning in that are….-Review by Catherine(Catty)

So many unexpected twists and turns in this second part to the duet. I absolutely love the intense connection these two have. It's not just the physical connection between Dillion and Faith, it all the events in everyone's life that had to occur to bring these two together. It is amazing, heart breaking, and breathtaking what Dillion and Faith endure to find each other and then the strength to stay together.

If you have read the first part, you MUST read the second half to the duet. So much comes to light, things you would have never expected. Plus you get to read a beautiful love story. (Review by Terri "Jane")

What an amazing climax to Dillon and Faiths story! I was heartbroken at the end of book 1 but luckily didn’t have to wait long to find out what would happen.

This book was emotional and heart wrenching through most of it but it never stopped me turning the pages. Rochelle delivered us an amazing insight into the life of a transplant patient that showed us not only what they went through regarding the actual surgery but Also how it goes on to impact so many other aspects of there future too!
Thanks for sharing something g so personal to you I’ve never wanted there to be more stars but this 5 star award I’m giving seems inadequate!

This was such a beautiful story, I would give it way more stars if I could. This is the conclusion of Dillon and Faith from Fortuity. This is such an emotional read, you will literally feel every emotion while reading their story. I just loved it in a way that I cannot possibly explain. All the feels.

This was a safe read with some shocking aspects. All the feels and emotion. A little couple drama, as I’m sure you would expect from their story. We get an epilogue, which makes me so happy and an hea. These two were just everything.

💜Emotional conclusion to a beautiful duet.
I had lots of emotions while reading this book.
Faith and Dillon were each other’s soul mate and a tragic accident and dead brought them together.
Love all Rochelle’s books but she outdid herself in this duet.
Serenity is a emotional story about secrets and forgiveness.
There was a scene that had me bawling it was so emotional.

💜This is one of my favorite quotes and it’s perfect for this book; Not all twins walk side by side. Sometimes one has wings to fly.

3.5 stars. Serenity is the conclusion to the Fortuity duet. It was a pretty good, sweet conclusion to Dillon and Faith's story. After the cliffhanger in Fortuity, the couple is left reeling. They now have to deal with the fallout of the situation and figure out how to go forward with their relationship.

Overall, this was a quick, easy read. I did feel like the duet could have possibly been one book, instead of one story split into two books. But, I liked Dillon and Faith. They are both young and learning how to deal with relationships and grown-up situations, but they loved each other very much. This is definitely an NA book with all of the drama and immaturity that young adults have. The first 30% of the book was dealing with the cliffhanger from the end of Fortuity. The way that it was dealt with was melodramatic, kind of childish on both Faith and Dillon's part. After that conflict was dealt with, though, I enjoyed the book much more. It was a short, fast paced story that held my attention. I enjoyed seeing Dillon and Faith's relationship develop over the course of the duet. They were sweet together. It was great to see them both find happiness and overcome difficult pasts. They had a sweet, somewhat innocent relationship and a strong connection.

Overall, this was a sweet, enjoyable NA read. It did feel a little young for me, but I was not too bothered. Both parts of the Fortuity duet were quick, easy, safe reads. I enjoyed seeing the endearing and charming relationship develop between the couple. I look forward to more from Ms. Paige in the future!

Excited doesn't even cover the way I was feeling when I open this book to read. I was nervous, I was happy, I was all at once and I couldn't start it fast enough.
Rochelle Paige made the impossible. She manage to get inside my heart with just one book. And what a book that was...
Her writing is simple yet powerful, pretty detailed and intense with so much feelings behind each chapter. She focus her writing in real people with real problems.
Serenity is her latest release and continues to tell the stories of Faith and Dillon.
But I need to tell you something. This book is not a standalone therefor you should read book 1 Fortuity first. Get ready to be a mess, in a good way after reading it.
The first book ended in a way that left me anxious waiting for this one. These two love each other so much but life keeps putting every obstacle in their way. How can they overcome it? Can they made it work...
I'm stunned. I'm overwhelmed. I'm speechless. I'm still shaking. This book was the light I needed to see. This series was what I needed.
The plot is magnificent, super engaging, very well written with so much meaning between each chapter. The interation between the characters is beautiful and sweet and they share great chemistry. The theme that was portrayed in this book is something that everyone should be aware of. Not only adoption is important as well as being a donor. Think about these two themes...
The story progressed in a way that made me fall even more in love with the characters, but let's not forget the pain that I felt reading it. There were parts of the story that I thought that everything was lost but...
Oh Rochelle... What can I say? How can I express my gratitude for this amazing duet? The only thing that I can think of is writing this review and shouting to everyone that they need to read this.
Amazing book and I can't wait for more news from you. Thank you.

You'll definitely want to read the first book in this duet before moving on to "Serenity." Otherwise, you'll be lost and believe me, you're going to find yourself in enough fog without adding to it. Whew! this is an overload of tragic circumstances.

Picking up where the cliffhanger left readers hanging, there is an overload of twists and surprises ahead. A bit far-fetched to be totally believable -- at least in my opinion. Thank Goodness this is fiction! And you gotta give the author a high-five for her ability to conceive this tale of happenstance. It certainly kept me glued in my chair and awaiting the next storm to hit.

I was a bit happier with the development in this installment. More family interaction, more explanations (although forced) and, of course, a really sweet and nicely done Epilogue.

WOW. That was the absolute perfect sequel to Faith & Dillon’s story! As soon as this book was in my hands I couldn’t put it down! In fact I stopped reading another book just so I could see what would happen next with them!!
I was a little worried that the angst factor would’ve been through the roof, but luckily Rochelle was able to get across the hurt/mistrust/craziness without making me want to throw my kindle across the room (although I definitely wanted to slap Dillon upside the head for being a doofus)!
I’m glad that they were able to work out what the issue was (and then some) and actually find their HEA.
I’m also hoping that she’ll have books for Christine & Corey so I can see what the drama was with the two of them!!

Serenity follows the story of Dillion and Faith from Fortuity. Only in this one, we get Dillion’s history and the book is more frequently in his POV. Serenity starts where Fortuity left off. This was a good conclusion to Dillion and Faith’s love story and a good read. All of my questions I was left with after reading the first half were answered.I felt they finally got the HEA that they deserved. I have to say this story gutted me. I felt like my heart was ripped out, played with, and then put back in a little damaged. This story put me through the wringer and was a Kleenex kind of read. Overall, this was a good, but emotional read.
ARC given in exchange for an honest review.

Serenity - the state of being calm, peaceful and untroubled.

Dillon and Faith's connection morphs to unbelievable coincidences. More secrets are revealed, feelings are hurt, but from the ashes great triumphs can be achieved. As the truth unfolds, everyone affected by it begins their individual and collective journey towards the state of Serenity.

This story will wring every emotion out of you and was consuming from beginning to end. Thank you for using your mom's experience as a parallel to this story. I highly recommend this one!

I was patiently waiting for this conclusion and it was definitely worth the wait. Faith and Dillon face so many obstacles as a team. The cliffhanger in book 1 was nothing compared to other things that were revealed in this conclusion. But what I liked was how much they were each other’s rock. There was a moment when I thought things would go left but they handled it like adults.

This conclusion shows how much was sacrificed and more or less to show that these two were meant to be together. It shows how much they had to come to terms with things that happened in their past in order to forgive and move forward.

I made the mistake of starting this book at 11 at night. I was still reading after 1 am. I could NOT put it down. There were more twists and tears than the first book Fortuity. The near perfect love story of Faith and Dillon is unbelievable. They have an amazing love that stands up over angst and bad times. They both habe some bad things that happen to them that makes their finding each other all the better. Please read this duet. You will not be sorry. Thank you for writing this Rochelle Paige.
