Modern witches are having a powerful moment. The Apprentice Witch’s Spellbook provides the most accessible collection of spells and charms for powerful women to embrace this moment
Modern witches are having a moment. Far from the image of pointy hats huddled over a cauldron, today's witches are strong, powerful young women who are standing up for themselves and womankind. The millennial witchcraft movement is focused on feminism, political engagement, and empowerment. This collection of more than 40 spells and magic charms, written by experienced witchcraft author Marian Green, is designed to encourage readers to embrace elemental magic, the power of the planets, the magic of time, kitchen witching, and dream weaving to attract magic forces. • Contains three super potent “Emergency Use Only” spells printed on sealed pages—only for the most powerful of amateur witches.

A nice little introduction to basic spellcraft without leaning too heavily into Wicca. Simple, clear instructions, and nicely illustrated throughout. Don't expect a fully comprehensive or exhaustive list of spells and incantations, but its a nice starting point for beginners, with some correspondences listed throughout. Easy to follow, with a light, easy-going feel to the writing style.
It's got the information, and is clear. The author seems to repeat herself a lot. I found the book to b dull, and I doubt i'll reference it often, apart for the dream weaving Chapter.
