This small prayer book is a blessing. I received it as a gift and really enjoyed reading its short prayers. It would be a great gift for any godly woman.

Okay, confession time: I have not actually read this book and the one I am reviewing has a different title. But because it is unavailable as a Goodreads listing for some reason and the book I read, by the same author, has the same cover illustration, I'm hijacking this edition. The book I read is Prayers of a Dedicated Teacher. It is a nice, inspirational little gift. Wish I had been more into reading His Word when I was teaching because this would have proved to have been a valuable tool. great gift idea for parents whose children attend religious schools.

This is a 31-day devotional for women. The format for each day is a brief one-page devotional on a particular prayer topic. That is followed by a facing page of quotes from well-known women Christian leaders (Elisabeth Elliot, Kay Arthur, Corrie Ten Boom, et al) and a verse from Scripture. Then the third page is a prayer appropriate to the devotional topic. Easy to read and inspirational.

This is a great little side book for a everyday inspiration! I picked it up from an online Christianbook.com because it was on sale. I am so glad I did. Each 'day' features a small topic and how to handle it along with a couple scriptures and quotes, finished off with a prayer in regards to overcoming the topic/obstacle listed for that day.

The book is rather small and can be read as a daily devotional in about a month. The size is also small so it fits perfectly in your purse, bedside table or lunch box for break time reading. I strongly suggest Prayers of a Godly Woman for anyone looking for a great little book to draw you nearer to God.
