How to Ride a Polar Bear is a fun story about Albie who goes to the museum with his mum one day. He thinks it's going to be old and boring but he soon discovers it's much better than he thought and we get to join Albie as he goes on a big adventure with a polar bear and a friend.
The children enjoyed this book and thought it was great to see Albie riding a polar bear. This is a nice book to show that things aren't always as bad as we imagine and with friends and some imagination we can have lots of fun.
The illustrations are mostly showing the snowy and wintery fun that Albie and his friends are having and the excitement really shows through the pictures. It is great to see different wintery activities and events like igloos and avalanches and the children's favourite part was spotting Father Christmas flying by.
This is a great book for winter that shows how much fun it can be to visit a museum and how with imagination and friends we can have so much fun in any situation.
Fun picture book full of flights of imagination, snowy fun and gorgeous illustrations, I particularly enjoyed the fleeting appearance of Santa's sleigh!
Noah enjoyed the avalanche and the whales 🐳 I enjoyed seeing the diffusion of both Santa 🎅🏽 and climate change into the story. Bit of a shame that it doesn’t rhyme.
