Fantastic, child-friendly information book about the United Kingdom. Each double page spread is allocated to a different county in the United Kingdom. The pages show the key people associated with the county as well as key places and events which take place there. For example, for Cornwall, there is facts about the Camel Trail, The Beast of Bodmin and Local food. There is also information on some of the animals found around the coast and famous people who were born or lived in Cornwall. This book would be a good addition to a primary classroom both for research purposes and general interest.
