So this is Adela's and Marcus book. Marcus has a lot to make up for if he wants any future with Adela and his daughter. But first he has to admit that he was wrong in the past so he can move forward.
Adela has made amends with not having Marcus in her life. So when he shows back up years later after being in jail and he still thinks that Adela cheated on him and Luci isn't his. Adela figures there still is no hope for them.
This is a quick read with the usual mystery and shifting intrigue thrown in. Good story. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Alors Marcus dans le tome 1 se comporte vraiment comme un con, ça va mieux vers la fin mais bon il est quand même relou à forcer sur le fait que Luci est pas sa fille, il se base sur rien.
Adela est toujours mims et sympa et sa fille Luci est adorable.
Marcus essaye vraiment de se racheter mais c’est peu trop simple quand même.
Y’a pas mal d’action donc c’est cool et ça reste mignon de sympa.

Nop. Como esperaba, este libro tampoco me ha terminado de convencer. El problema es que, y de ahí la estrella, los personajes me han caído muy mal. Sobre todo él. La trama sigue sin fluir con naturalidad y a veces da la sensación de que me estoy perdiendo algo. Como si la información que se nos da estuviese incompleta.
Además, creo que esta escritora no es para mí. Si por lo menos su estilo me gustase más, es probable que hubiese seguido la saga. Como no es el caso, no voy a seguir leyéndola.

I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.
In the middle of interviewing for nanny's for her sweet little girl Luci, Adela starts to daydream. But this is not a bad daydream, it is more along the lines of her opening her own store, moving out of the place for the last three years she and Luci have called home. Her boss/all but brother is now married and it just feels that she should be out on her own. But a part of her past keeps turning up, unannounced and causing her heart to race and causing these daydreams and wondering what if, and if only.
Why did he have to follow her scent to the market? Marcus knows that he is only half of who he once was and who he wants to be. Adela is his. He has a lot of things that have happened to him, and it is changing him. He is about to get a real good dose of in your face and I told you so but the funny thing is, it isn't coming from the one person it really should be, and now he is back to claim her once and for all.
Adela seems to be running into Marcus more and more. He is popping up around her house. The nanny that she just hired notices and keeps on alert. Adela is not in the least afraid of Marcus. She loved him, she has a piece of him with her daily, in the shape of Luci. She wishes he would know that the beautiful little girl is his. But his stubbornness caused his jealousy and he left. Things are about to change and very quickly.
Marcus is no longer the hot head he once was, well at least not starting fights and drinking and all. So after a brawl at the pub he decides he needs to talk to Adela. Things heat up between them so quickly. Even though it has been three years it is still hotter than ever. That has never been the problem. Now there is something small starting to happen, and it keeps Marcus on alert. Then just like that Marcus is in a panic, something has happened and his mate is not safe. Even though he doesn't know the what or who or why....he will, and he will deal with this. When the very evil woman at the heart of this appears, it is going to take an army to fix all that is happening.
A kidnapping, a moment of truth revealed and told, this time it is accepted from Marcus, a plan hatched between Adela and Marcus, love rekindled....and most of all trust and understanding to all parties. It is a bit of twists happening, but together Marcus and Adela are forging forward. There is big things happening, and without having anywhere to turn, Marcus turns to the clan matriarch that banished him from the clan. He tells all that is happening and there is a future for him, his mate and his child. Things are getting better.
The final showdown starts and it is very scary and a lot of confusion happening. Adela being worried doesn't stick to the plan, and now part of the past that changed Marcus is reappearing in the form of a bullet that was previously lodged. How can this be happening, how could Adela finally have the man she has always loved in her life for so little of time, where they are really with each other, and now it is being taken away again....NO!
A few more twists and a reward for Adela and Marcus....things are still happening for the better, and they are working on their happy ever after soon enough.

I love reading anything by Jasmine Wylder because I know there's a great story coming my way. This book is about two people who belong together but their individual issues keep them apart. Marcus Haught needs to learn to trust and change his ways. Adela Choi as a parent needs to think about not only herself but also what's best for her daughter. They both need a second chance at love.
Marcus was trouble with a capital T. He was a jealous hot head who needed to figure out how to grow into a true man. He had to grow up and now he has to prove himself worthy of a second chance at love, fatherhood, and as a true partner to Adela. Prison helped to shape Marcus and convince him that change was needed. These two are determined and hard-headed individuals which makes the road to a second chance very steep and rocky. Adela needs to let go of the hurt in her past and to drop the walls that surround her heart. If she can't get past that then all of Marcus' effort could be for naught. They have to be able to survive the dangerous and evil men from Marcus' past first.
There's a little something for everyone in this book love, forgiveness, anger, action, and danger. The two have a long journey to get past hurt feelings, earning trust, and again finding the love and passion that they both had once for each other. What are these two going to have to face before their HEA? Enjoy the book and let their story tug at your heart strings while you hold out hope and root for the two lovers.

Another fabulous book by Jasmine Wylder. This is book 2 in the bear shifter series and just as good at the first one. I loved Adele in the first book and how devoted she is to her daughter Luci and her friendship with Isasis and Becky. Come now to book 2 she is now looking to make herself into something more than just a mother to take care of her and her daughter. She is opening up a store in town and needs to find a nanny, that's where Jasmine comes in. She turns out to not only be a good nanny but also a good friend and she's a jaguar shifter which doesn't come out right away. Marcus is out of jail now, he was put into jail during book 1 when he was involved in a kidnapping plot. The feelings between Adele and Marcus are just as strong as ever, they are truly fated mates even though Adele is human. Will she give him a second chance? Will he finally realize that there was nothing between Adele and Isasis and Luci is his daughter? This is a great read, very quick, the story sucks you in from the beginning. I loved the characters in this series. I look forward to Jasmine's next series and what is yet to come.

In the first book Marcus came across as an immature, jealous jerk. Although he certainly shows some change in attitude in this book, but I still had trouble completely buying into it. I also wasn't a big fan of Adela (nothing I could put my finger on, but I just found her annoying ). I just couldn't muster a lot of enthusiasm for their HEA.
I think there was a lot of potential in the plot. The exiled bears, the drug runners, and the issues that arose from that were interesting and I thought could lead to some stories in the series I would enjoy reading. But there were a few times in the book that I had to look back to see if I had missed a section (nope, turns out things get referenced with no background) .

It was great to learn more about Adela after reading the first book in the series. She was raising her daughter alone after her shifter mate (Marcus) accused her of cheating when she became pregnant. She suffered again when he was part of the group that kidnapped her in the first book. He is now out of jail and determined to prove his worth to her if she will let him.
Adela wants to protect her daughter but she can't seem to resist Marcus. He looks like a bad boy and has made some poor choices. She knows he didn't want to hurt her and was trying to protect her during the kidnapping. She doesn't want him to break her heart again.
I liked that both characters get a chance to narrate the story. It helps you connect to them. It is especially important as you need to know Marcus really wants what is best for Adela and Luci. Marcus, Adela and their daughter Luci make a great family and you want her to give him a second chance.
I do recommend reading the first book before this one but you could read it as a standalone.

I must say that Marcus was definitely NOT on my favorites list as a supporting character in book one of this series. His story with Adela wasn’t revealed until now and I must admit I have had a change of heart. I still think he went about some things totally the wrong way but he tries really hard to redeem himself this go ‘round but no one’s perfect. I actually felt sorry for him, he does have a heart and it belongs to Adela. I like her and only wish she would have engaged in shifting like some of the others did. Luci is a handful already and very adventurous, kinda like her daddy, lol. Their road is a bit bumpy and dangerous but they two are soul mates and their struggle will only make their love for one another stronger as they analyze, what’s really more important.

Oh what’s not to like about this second chance story. How far would you go to get your woman back. You know, the only woman for you even though you know you messed things up in the past. Marcus wants Adela back in his life, she is like a drug to him . Problem is, Adela doesn’t trust Marcus. She has a lot on her plate. Bring up baby Luci, trying to open up her own business and still fighting her feelings for Marcus. A brilliant story of Marcus fighting for a second chance to love Adela, getting to know baby Luci and dealing with crazy women. You know Marcus and Adela are meant to be and you fight for them all the way. My favourite part of the story is the relationship between Marcus and Luci. It made me smile so much. Love this series. Brilliant reading. Fantastic

I am excited that this book picked up pretty close to when the last one left off. I had a change of heart towards Marcus when he was shot so many times trying to save Adela. His pig-headed jealousy was the root of their problems and he had a lot to make up for. I loved Jasmine and her protectiveness with Adela as well as Luci. I loved that he wanted to be part of their life, no matter what happened in the past. Can Adela trust him and feel secure that he will believe in her. There was a time I wasn't sure if they would make it out of trouble alive. Really good book. I recommend this book for romance readers, shifter fans and action junkies. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Three years ago, Marcus did something foolish that cost him his mate Adela. She wound up raising her daughter, Luci, alone. However, she did have some help from another man, Isaias, who was like a brother to her and her boss. Marcus could not see past his jealousy and it has not abated since his return. He knows he should stay away from Adela but as she is his mate, he is constantly being pulled towards her. However, there is danger afoot. Will Adela be able to put the past aside and trust Marcus? Will Marcus be able to save Adela and get over his jealousy? This is one story that flows like a river and keeps the pages turning with its relatable theme of wanting to do the best for oneself and one’s family.

Love all these stories.
I always have to read one of Jasmine Wylder's books. The plots as well as the many characters make each book worth it. The main story is about Adela her little daughter Luci and her ex lover Marcus who is Luci's daddy. Even though Marcus thinks the baby is her bosses. This is where I'm a little off from the story. In Every shifter story I have read the animal side always knows who is their mate. Plus he should be able to smell Luci with his bear sciences and know that she is his daughter. Marcus must not be that good of a bear shifter. But I do like the story. Plus all the extra stories she includes for us to read for free. I missed the opportunity to review the Advance Reader Copy, but was happy to pay the .99 price for this book.

Another good shifter story in the Fated Bears series. It is really a story about Adela giving Marcus a wild crazy bear shifter a second chance with her heart. It was a fast read that was full of action. The sex scenes were not too nasty and only secondary to the story. There was a bad "guy" and Marcus got to shine as the good guy. Just a fun book to read on a lazy afternoon when I wanted to be entertained. I liked the story. Read it in one sitting to see what crazy scenes would happen and if Marcus would win Adela's heart and how he would get her to forgive him and let him back into her life.

This is Marcus, Adela and Luci's story . Years ago due to Marcus's trust issues he and Adela parted ways . Now he is back and still feels for Adela but he feels there is a problem with Luci not being his . At first I wanted to hang him !! But trust me read this story !! This is so well written and engaging that once you start you will not be able to put it down !! Like everyone else whom has reviewed this book I must say I think this one is the best one of this series yet !! Second chances are rare and just let me say I love the way Jasmine Wylder's has done this !! I strongly recommend this to everyone !!

The second installment in the series. This time it's about bad boy Marcus and Adelia. Separated years ago due to mistrust and conflict,Adelia raises her little girl Luci alone. Freshly out of jail,Marcus tries to amend things,realising that what he did was wrong,he pursue Adelia hoping for a second chance. Trouble ensues when Lexa goes after them and threatens their life. Honestly,the first part of the story makes me want to pull out Marcus's hair because he's such a jerk. Thankfully he redeemed himself in the later part. Overall this was a good book.

The quick and action-filled, easy-to-read plot was thoroughly enjoyable, so I'd rate this book somewhere between 4 and 5 stars. I liked this one better than the first in the series, maybe because I really liked Marcus, the shifter hero, who I felt was a bit underestimated and misunderstood, and a thoroughly eligible match for Adela, the human mother of his child. Their young daughter Luci is a charmer, the plot has some heat but does not overdo it, and the adventure has a very satisfying conclusion.:-)

Great second story in series. We have the story of Adela and Marcus going for their second chance at love. Adela tries to start her own business so that she and Luci can have a place of their own. She has been living with Isaias who has been like a brother to her. Marcus has just gotten out of jail from the kidnapping charges. Lexa is running drugs, can Marcus stop her? Can Marcus and Adela get back together? Will Adela tell Marcus that Luci is really his child? I received an arc copy for my honest review.

Marcus and Adela's story had me on the edge on my seat! I read it all in one sitting, as I wasn't able to predict what was going to happen next! I love that while you're are reading you talk to the characters out loud, telling them what to do lol. My family now thinks I'm crazy, talking to myself. This is a really good series, and one that I will continue to read. I am a forever fan of Jasmine's, and highly recommend her books!

I love that while you're are reading you talk to the characters out loud, telling them what to do lol. My family now thinks I'm crazy, talking to myself. This is a really good series, and one that I will continue to read. I am a forever fan of Jasmine's, and highly recommend her books!

Was excited to see Marcus and Adela get a story after having them in the Fated Bears Book 1. I was happy when Marcus was able to admit his insecurities and how he was willing to work towards her forgiveness. I thought that despite giving him a second chance, Adela proved she was strong. Great read!

This is Paranormal Romance mixed with MC Romance - what not to love. It is a great combination and a great story. The only reason I have given four stars instead of five is due to the length, for me it wasn't long enough, as I easily read this book in one night. But to be fair to the author, I don't sleep well and it is a great story with plenty of action, which kept me reading. So if you love either Paranormal Romance with Shifters or MC Romance or like me both, then you will enjoy this book. Definitely worth a read.

He did save her and her friend from a kidnapping and served his time. He just can't seem to get it together and not loose his temper around her. And Adela doesn't want that around Luci the baby. Marcus and Adela were both fantastic characters with great chemistry. The story was fun and had great flow with lots of twists and ups and downs. Both of these characters were stubborn and Adela was already hurt once and didn't believe that Marcus could change. Luci was the child that they shared and she really stood and was also a very likeable character on her own. Some action and mystery made this a great read. I am giving my voluntary honest review on an arc I received.

Marcus knows that Adela are reunited after three years and he knows that she is his real mate. But he thinks she cheated on him when she didn't. She has her hands full with her (and his) gorgeous little daughter Luci. Lots of drama as they deal with their trust issues and life I general. Great chemistry and a well written story that will have you page turning. I read an promotional copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

This book was so good! It was the conclusion of Adela and Marcus' story and it was so worth the wait. Marcus had to learn a few hard lessons before he was truly going to be ready for his mate, Adela and there were times I doubted he'd ever learn them. He finally does learn them and not a moment too soon. ;) <3

This is a story how love can last and conquer all. Adela and Marcus belong together but Marcus doesn't trust Adela. He doesn't know Luci is his little girl because he believe she belong to Adela best friend. Adela and Marcus always used protection. This is a beautiful love story. I enjoyed reading there story and couldn't put the book down. I can't wait to read more from Jasmine Wylder. I received an ARC and have voluntarily left a review.

I read book three before I read this book. I enjoyed book two more than book three. I found this book easy to follow and the characters likeable. The chemistry between Marcus and Adela was clear to see. I liked that Adela took a risk and gave Marcus a second chance. Although Luci was barely in the story, she was cute.
I liked that Marcus and Adela worked together to bring Lexa down.

First let me say that I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book, but it in no way influenced my feedback. I always leave an honest review.
I enjoyed this story very much. It's got references from "the Bear Shifter's Virgin " but it's still a stand-alone story. Adela was great in the first story, but she was only a bit character. This time it was her story. Her's & Marcus'. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
