I really like this format, because I do a lot of my devotionals on my desktop. With the place being left to enter notes, I don't have to find a piece of paper to write the answers to the questions.

Additionally, the lessons in the book were easy to understand. Max also provided similar Scripture references for further reading on the topic.

I recommend this book to anyone who is hungry for more of God.

I absolutely love this series and am especially encouraged by this examination of Luke and ultimately of Jesus' life and testimony. The questions and opportunities for self examination and exploration allow us a greater opportunity to further our walk with God and understand parts of ourselves that we may not have engaged with for far too long.

Another excellent study tool to increase your understanding and application to your life today. I highly recommend this study guide.

It’s basically a compilation of select passages from Luke, with discussion questions and excerpts from Lucado’s other writings. Still, it was a meaningful and worthwhile study.

What's not to like about a Max Lucado book, especially a Bible study? Great words.

This book offers clear insight into Luke’s Gospel from the point of view of content rather than the historical writing of the work. Max Lucado takes sections of the Gospel, discusses and illustrates them and then poses questions for the reader in order that he or she may begin finding their own answers. The study is not aimed at theologians but at ordinary folk. For some I think this could be a little too simple while for others it will be the ideal level of study. I recommend trying a sample first, if you aim to use this book for your personal studies.

A very nice little book! A snippet of Bible verse, a snippet of lesson, and some questions for thought. An easy read.
