Very good book. Nicely covers a lot of the history and formation of the cave system in a manner easy for a non-technical person to understand. A little dated at this point, my edition printed in 2002 was last updated in 1990 and some of the tours have changed as well as new information has come out about the cave. Still, very worth reading especially right before going to the park.

This has to be the most suspenseful, intriguing, satisfying geology book I've ever read.
