Librito algo simplista.

My Little Garden by Katrin Wiehle. BOARD BOOK. Beltz & Gelberg (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), 2019. $9. 9781328543950

BUYING ADVISORY: PRE-K - OPTIONAL

AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE

Simple sentences describe what goes on in a garden and who lives there. The pictures are all labeled and the book is made of an earthy recycled material.

The biggest charm of this book is how the textured recycled paper interacts well with the earthy topic of the book. The garden animals are charmingly illustrated and good for a board book, but the overall product is very simple and basic.

Leider bisschen wenig Plot.

An overview of things that live in a garden. Nothing more, nothing less. Silly Bear likes it.
