As always Mickey exceeded my expectations with another great story and I especially loved the twists and turns which isn't normally in his writing style. Eva Napelton (who was first introduced in his debut book Playing Dirty as baseball extraordinaire Jake Napelton's sister) and Corbin have such great chemistry with one another like all of Mickey's characters in which let me tell ya isn't a bad thing. I wanna conclude with saying you'd be crazy to pass up reading this amazing story and getting to know this author and his writing style so I suggest you read this book amongst all the others he has written so far.What are you waiting for? start reading this book once it's Live on Amazon and you'll see what I mean.

Another wonderful story by Mickey. Eva and Corbin don't have a normal relationship by any means, but it works for them. Its just getting to the relationship part that might get them killed.
Corbin is a very bad man. Eva is a very good girl. I loved how these two worked so well together. And right from the start, the chemistry fly's off the pages. I couldn't put this story down. Loved it.

Dirty Trick is filled with non stop action and suspense story blended beautifully with a hit of romance in between. Corbin is given the chance to get out of jail by taking on a particular mission only he can help with, when he’s paired with Eva he finds the missing piece to his puzzle. I found this book to be a page turner from the very beginning that kept me on my toes right up until the end. The mystery of finding the answers along with Corbin and Eva made me feel as though I was on the case with them. I’ve read other books by Mickey Miller before and this is one of my favorite ones to date. It’s not often I come across a drug cartel story and I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy it so much. Highly recommend you grab your copy, this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Great story!
I have to say I was not expecting to enjoy this book all that much. I bought it because the blurb intrigued me - a woman ghosting a player. So, I began reading, and discovered, to my pleasant surprise, Micky Miller can certainly write a very funny, quite entertaining story, and his male hero? Swoon worthy. Corbin is more than a hot, handsome tattooed hunk - he has character, and for the right woman, it seems he really is heroic. I loved it! Some scenes had me dying with laughter, and then the characters take it to a romantic level. Seems men ARE able to give more than a few female writers a run for their money! Well done, aside from repeated grammatical errors - the proper use of "I" versus "me" confounds most who aren't English majors. Important to remember - when you take out the other name, and "I" sounds "off," then you probably ought to have used " me. " Aside from a few other typos along with the I versus me dilemma, wonderful story! I gave this four stars for the good story and took off a star for the boo boos.

Dirty Trick by Mickey Miller was spectacular! In my experience reading Mickey’s words, I have always found them to be well written, with fantastic characters and they will surely ignite your…kindles!!! In Dirty Trick, Dr. Eva Napleton is a DEA agent with an ax to grind over being kept in the office instead of allowed out in the field. Enter Corbin Young, ex-drug dealer and ex-con, out of prison for good behavior…or to become an undercover DEA agent. After a night of erotic, carnal lovemaking Eva kicks Corbin to the curb without an explanation. Now, the two are partnered to take down the largest drug cartel south of the border. Can Eva resist Corbin? Can Corbin commit himself to one women? Or will he head for the Caribbean without a care in this world?!?! Will the two be able to stay in character indefinitely to avoid their cover being blown?!

However, that said, Dirty Trick was an extremely close second…I fell hard and fast for the reformed bad boy Corbin. And Eva?! She was AWESOME! Strong and independent, exceptionally smart and gorgeous to boot!!! Since Mickey Miller wrote Dirty Trick as a duel perspective narrative, readers won’t be able to help but fall in-love with these characters the way I did. You will really connect with them because your part of their innermost thoughts!
Eva and Corbin are exceptionally well matched in Dirty Trick. Together the pages of my kindle were on fire. The sexy times between these two were erotic as h*ll and yet there was still a little bit of the sweet thrown in to make the encounters well rounded. I am not one to avoid an author (or book) based on the author's gender; a well written romance does not necessitate either a male or female author to turn out a book that is going to appeal to the masses. I have to say that I have read both good and bad authors of both genders… and it is without question that Mickey Miller has become one of my favorite, go-to authors when I want to just be consumed by a book. Dirty Trick was intense from start to finish. I literally could not put it down once I started reading until I finished the very last words. Eva and Corbin left me with a little bit of a book hangover, but I will take that any day of the week if it means I can enjoy a book this much.
Overall, I can’t recommend Mickey Miller’s Dirty Trick enough! There are not enough stars for this book and I think readers will be irrevocably addicted to Mickey’s books. Its rating at 5 stars is not adequate even if that’s the maximum that Goodreads, Amazon, etc will allow. Buy this book and find out for yourself why Mickey Miller remains on my favorite authors list book after book!!!

We first met Eva Napleton in her brother Jake's book, Playing Dirty, and I was glad to see this feisty, sassy spitfire get her own book. Eva works as a psychologist for the DEA and everyone thinks of her as the “good girl.” There’s a bit of a bad girl dying to come out and play, and one night Eva let’s her alter-ego out, introduces herself as Alexa, and has the time of her life with a sexy, tattooed bad boy named Corbin. Weeks after sneaking out of his hotel room, who does Eva come face to face with? Corbin. And not just anywhere. At her job! If that’s not a big enough disaster, Eva learns Corbin is an ex drug dealing con who's now working with the DEA for a reduced prison term to take down the biggest drug lord in the area. To add insult to injury, Eva has to work undercover with Corbin.
Mickey Miller really pulled out all the stops on this one! I’m always eager to read an early copy of his books and Dirty Trick really delivers. I’m not sure if Miller is intentionally stretching his literary wings, but if he has a notion to cross over into romantic suspense, he has an excellent start with this book. Staying true to his trademark smoldering chemistry and laugh out loud moments, this one kept me on the edge of my seat, furiously turning pages, throughout this adrenaline-fueled ride! Sexy and funny but suspenseful and intense, Dirty Trick has it all and is a definite must read!

Dirty Trick by Micky Miller was a nice surprise. He has given us so many different types of stories, but this time around he gives a very sexy story with strong main characters in a romantic suspense story. I was captivated by this story from start to finish.
Eva has always been the good girl, but even so, she was so strong and determined. I loved that she was such a strong female character and a woman on a mission. Corbin was such a cocky man, but he was also very protective. As an ex-con, when he was offered to help the DEA he took the chance.
Eva and Corbin share one very sexy and steamy night together, but Eva leaves before morning. Now they are working together to bring down a dangerous cartel. Can they find a way to work together when there is so much chemistry and attraction between them?
I loved Eva and Corbin. They were so hot together and their chemistry dripped off the pages. Add in the suspense and we have another great story from Micky Miller.

Wow, Dirty Trick is a bit different to what we have previously read from Mickey. I really enjoyed reading this novel, it kept me intrigued and I didn’t want to put it down. The story is exciting and has a great flow from start to end. I loved the story line in this novel as well as the characters.
Eva is such a strong character. She is determined to be different to what everyone is used to. She is the sister of Jake from Mickey’s Book, Playing Dirty. Corbin is an arrogant, cocky, tattooed hunk. But as we see in this story that even bad boys have a sweet protective side to them. I really like Corbin’s character, his back story was heart wrenching. I thought the characters had great chemistry with each other. I really liked the whole ‘forbidden’ for each other thing. There were bits of the story that had me on the edge of my seat, anticipating what was going to happen next! Another great novel from Mickey Miller!

The perfect description of this book about Eva and Corbin that meet in a spectacular way. Eva is a strong woman that is refreshing to see. Then throw in Corbin with his cockiness and their banter back and forth that is so funny. The story line in this book is a page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I found myself trying to think ahead of the author at times and a was shut down each and every time!!!! So if you like hot guy, hot girl, mystery, and lots of banter thrown in grab this book!!!!

I love anything Mickey Miller writes and this one was no exception! Strong main characters, humor, suspense, and of course, no one can write a steamy scene like Mickey! Holy Hotness!

Her one night in Tijuana gave her a new boost of confidence that has her demanding to be more than a desk job at the DEA and this case is her way of proving she can be a success. Neither can completely focus, however, as they are both completely wound up in and distracted by their attraction to one another that it’s hard to remember and focus on the roles they are playing to win the end game.

Following the demise of a ho-hum, uber vanilla relationship, she channels her inner vixen, "Alexa", picks up a gorgeous, tatted man, and indulges in an uninhibited, red-hot, one night stand. If you've read Playing Dirty, then you will have met Eva, since she is Jake's sister. When we catch up with her in this new book, she is in Tijuana with her best friend, celebrating her twenty-seventh birthday. After a two year long relationship with her co-worker, she finally called things off with him and is ready to move on with her life and do some actual field work for the DEA. Her ex wants to keep her in the office, doing paperwork, since she is a Psychologist and helps with doing psychological profiling. She introduces herself as a different persona while in Mexico and meets Mr. Tall, Dark and Tatted Gorgeousness, who saves them from an older, pushy man that doesn't want to take their no for an answer to his request to drink with him. One thing leads to another and they have an awesome one night stand before she kicks him out, which totally throws him for a loop as he is the one that usually does the leaving. Fast forward to a month later and he has to meet with his DEA handler that helped get him out of prison, cutting eighteen years off his twenty year sentence if he becomes a double agent to bring down a major drug dealer. The book starts off in a bar down in Tijauna Mexico. What happens in TJ stays in TJ. I’ve never been to TJ but from what I know of it it’s not the best place to visit.
In this book we have Corbin. Who has been in prison the last 2 years. He was given a Presidential pardon and released in exchange to work with the DEA to bring down a Mexican Cartel drug lord. Corbin has been working with Ned who runs the DEA office in San Diego. Corbin has always been a high dealing and wheeling drug runner. Who loves woman and life in the fast lane.
Eva who met Corbin down in TJ and had the one night stand with him under her alter ego Alexa, was sure she would never see Corbin again. Until she walks into her boss’s Ned’s office to do a psychology evaluation on Corbin.
In order to go undercover, Eva has to be Corbin’s mistress in order for the drug cartel men to stop going after her sexually. Eva and Corbin state this is only for this job.....but as the weeks together grow longer and longer, they can’t fight their feelings for each other any longer.
Will Corbin and Eva be able to make a break in the drug case? Will they be able to bring down the people they are supposed to? Or will their feelings for each other get in the way and have them get caught??

This book was absolutely spectacular! Mickey’s words have a way of reaching out and grabbing you with all of his books but this one has to be one of his best. The way he writes his characters always leaves you wanting for more, they are not predictable like most I read and he knows how to make the characters scorching hot without over doing it.
Eva Napleton is a DEA agent with an ax to grind over being kept in the office instead of allowed out in the field, her ex Ned seems to think she is a good girl that could not handle it. She and a friend go for an escape in Mexico where she meets Corbin Young. Deciding to give up on being a good girl for a night she gives him a fake name and decides to have a one night stand.
Corbin, fresh out of prison for drug and murder charges on good behavior so they say (not that he is going to be undercover for the DEA) meets Eva (Alexa) and after a spectacular hook up she ghosts him, now he can’t get her off his mind but is it because she was something special or just that she was the first woman to ever walk away from him.
You have to read to see what happens, I loved the banter between the two. The way he wrote both of them as strong and weak at the same time just adds so much more to the story.

I adored book one, in lust with book two, and now loving hard on Dirty Trick. Hands down! I could not put this book down. I mean holy wow! Eva is a bad a^$ lady. The drama and action this story unfolds has your mind spinning and wondering what will happen next! Mickey Miller brings out all of his guns with this bad boy! This is a definite MUST READ! Dirty Trick is a wickedly good book that follows the life of Jack Napleton's sister Eva. Eva is out with her best friend on a trip to Tijuana, what happens there should stay there right? She should be allowed to have some fun with a gorgeous guy that she decides to be picked up by. What can it hurt? She'll never see him again and it'll be a wickedly fun night.
She was right, it was wickedly fun but she was wrong too. How could the man from Tijuana end up in front of her at her job within the DEA?!
Corbin now sits before her and doesn't want to let the chance go of having her ghost on him again. He is going to do anything he can to keep her close.

I have come to expect greatness from every Mickey Miller novel I read and Dirty Trick was no exception! With each book he brings twists and turns that are never expected and Dirty Trick is jam packed with wild and crazy adventures!
We first met Eva Napleton in Playing Dirty! She’s the sister of baseball extraordinaire Jake Napleton! Unlike her brother she doesn’t like the limelight and went a totally different route with her profession! She wants to climb ranks and has worked her butt off to do so but is still stuck in the same boring routine! One night of risk and adventures changes all of that!
Corbin Young gets a second chance and a fresh start but first he must take down his bosses boss! Unsure of where to start he heads out for a fun night only to end up entranced by the stunning brunette named “Alexa!”
Corbin and Eva had no idea that one fun night would lead to more and would be Eva’s chance to climb ranks as well as Corbin’s fresh start! Can these two tame the desire burning between them or will they allow emotions to take over and ruin everything both has ever wanted!?
I love the Ballers book and was so happy to get another one! If you’re a fan of Mickey Miller this is a must read!

This story has a little different feel than Mickey's usual books - in a good way, I mean!
It is jam packed with action, danger, suspense, and, of course HEAT! Whew! Is there heat!
The characters are strong and the plot holds you riveted.
I enjoyed the creation of the Eva/Alexa character. Up until one wild and crazy one night stand in Tijuana when Eva "became" Alexa, she has just done her office job, without rocking the boat. Not anymore! She liked herself as Alexa and realizes just how strong she is when she digs down deep and allows herself to let go and be who she wants/needs to be.
Corbin, being an ex-con and drug dealer, is a question mark. Can Eva trust him? Does the reader trust him with not only Eva's heart but their own?
Corbin and Eva find themselves learning what they are really made of and who they can trust, all while navigating the dangers surrounding them.

As a the kind of fiction reader I am, they characters come to life in my mind. The have a face, a voice, a body, style, mannerisms, personality. There are authors who write so quickly or don't bother with good editing that they can't even keep character names straight. That's kinda the worst of it but many just don't ever develop characters and at the end you just feel like you read another book that was exactly the same as all the others. "...and (insert H name here) & (insert h name here) lived HEA."
I say that to explain why I appreciate Mickey Miller & particularly this book. Mickey's characters are real. They live in a place in Mickey's mind and everyone coexists. We see them around in the small world of Mickeyland. And everyone gets a chance to have their story told.
This one even seemed to go deeper into their lives than he normally does. I felt a strong connection to Eva/Alexa and Corbin.

What do you get when you have a good girl DEA agent and a bad boy who is just being released from prison to help the DEA??? An amazing Mickey Miller book, thats what. So in order for Corbin to get time served he has to help catch a drug dealer. He wasnt expecting the women he had a one night stand with in Mexico be the same women he was expected to help.
Eva is the good girl, fast track within the DEA. She is tired of sitting behind a desk. she wants some field action. The only way she will get that is if she goes undercover with Corbin as his mistress?!?! Do they expect to fall in love? Does Eva get her way and get some field work?? We previously meet Dr. Eva Napleton in her brother Jake's book Playing Dirty but this book gives you the chance to learn her story.
Eva is a strong female lead and I really liked her character she was highly educated and stood up for what she knows is right even if it makes her seem upright to colleagues and friends. When Eva is on a birthday weekend getaway in Tijuana she meets Corbin, a tall attractive male and uses an alias so he does not know her name after their one night stand.
Turns out Corbin just got out of jail and is needed to help Eva to help capture a drug dealer. They have to work together on this case and make it seem like they are not undercover. It gives you both Eva and Corbin's perspectives.
They had good chemistry and I did enjoy this story but I felt it was rushed in some parts. I do recommend this book because it was engaging!

The best book by this author to date! I was captivated from the very start by the characters and the story line. Everything flowed so seamlessly and quick without feeling rushed. Having such a strong female in a male dominated world was a challenge to take on but it was very successful. And I was expecting the cocky alpha that is to be expected from this author but I was pleasantly surprised to see a different alpha type. But no spoilers you’ll have to read to know what I mean.
And the chemistry between Corbin and Eva was steamy! I was worried my kindle would start to smoke. Good girl with a wild streak, bad boy with a genuine heart sounds like a winning match to me. From the very beginning their connection was a live wire and I loved watching it spark and light.
Bottom line is, I loved this book! My new favorite by this author. I highly recommend you reading this story!
