What power awaits those who collect the three Runestones of Tritinakh?
The Mitherfickers sure want to find out. With Kodai and the Shinigami tracking their every move, the best guild this side of Porthos takes the ultimate quest, pitting them against shamans, ice goddesses, stinky giants, and dangerous bugbears.
In real world Tokyo, FeeTwix and Sophia arrive to join Ryuk in uncovering the truth of his hallucinations. What they discover is something is a game changer, to say the least.
But even with the discovery, and the possibility of obtaining the Runestones, the Mitherfickers will still need help in defeating the Shinigami. It's time to call in some old friends, and bring a legendary gamer out of retirement.

( Format : Audiobook ) "I'd love some fresh lamb sushi." There really should be an extra special rating for audiobook which seriously excel in both story content and narrative. I mean SERIOUSLY excel. This book would certainly acquire the special rating. With a thriller adventure taking place in real life Tokyo and constant battling, backed by his rather unique friends, to obtain the runestones in the virtual world, Ryuk is battling for his life. The story is one of constant excitement and creative imagination exceeded only by the (albeit childish and often crude) humour. The characters are superb, both in creation and development, from the exceedingly egocentric and often revolting (but lovable?) Hiccup, to the fast talking, ever ready with something needed, Feetwix, constantly talking to his fan followers to advertise in the midst of the chaos. Absolutely excellent, and pure Harmon Cooper.
A terrific read which leaps into glorious technicolour with the added narration of the amazing myriad voiced Mr.Jeff Hayes. a one man full cast, his fast paced, pleasant voiced reading also leaps seamlessly from one uniquely voiced character to another, be they make or female, human or goblin or anything in between breathing full existence into already fabulous characters. The addition of Annie Ellicott as four of the players is another little bonus.
Great hilarious adventures in the LitRPG genre with a phenomenal performance - this book truly deserves that bonus rating. A must read for all S.F./fantasy fans. Sit back and enjoy.
Sorry, I tried reading this garbage, but I couldn't get more than 13 percent (according to the kindle app) into it before it just got entirely too stupid to continue. I'm sure it was meant to be funny, and perhaps, to some, it is, but if I continue reading this nonsense, I'll need to do something unrepairable to the device I'm using for the reading, and that would be sad, because then I couldn't read any other kindle books. Honestly, I strongly urge all LitRPG fans to avoid this one, but if you really must read it, don't tell me about it, I can't even care enough to write a decent review for it.
Audible version. This has become one of my favorite series. It has a great mixture of LitRPG action and real world action. The series seems to get better with every new book. I like the dark smart ass humor that the goblin brings. All of the characters are unique and different, but still work together. The pace in these series is fast with no filler. The narration is great with unique voices for each character. I highly recommend. I received this book for free for my honest review.
It's bigger sweet. The book was amazing. Full of action and humor. Hiccup even let's his guard down. But it's the end of the current series. I really enjoyed it and laughed a lot.
This series gets better the more you read. It brings together elements of all the proximal worlds. This series is superb. I recommend it for those into gaming lit.
It's that time and our Mitherficking heroes are on quest mode as they try to gain powerful runestones which could be the key to defeating the Shinigami and Ryuks brother Kodai. With fan favourites Hiccup doing a masterful performance ( stupendously voiced by Jeff Hays) as he goes full out Goblin and Feetwix does his amazing deals by the bucket load its all on the line as they discover what they have been up against and how they may finally defeat them all. A wonderful plot and set of characters who keep you on your toes and ears open with many a chuckle along the way and fun fact this is a winner in the series and with some great cameos as well for those more familiar with HCs work. 6 out of 5 stars.
I honestly thought that this series couldn't get any better. That was until I read this book. Harmon Cooper has excelled himself here, and his fans will be exceptionally happy...but I can't tell you why, as I don't want to spoil the surprises for others.
Hiccup has more to say than everyone else put together. He absolutely steals the show, but for different reasons than usual. The appearance of a very well-loved character had me almost in tears.
An utterly brilliant page-turner. Totally immersive writing, it is hilarious, fun, sad, entertaining. The storyline is great. You can't put this down. In other words, just Cooper at his creative best.
And here we are, book three. But three of three? Hmm, there is more story to tell.
The key players this round: Oric is back in action, but remains a minor character against the more established core group. Toss in a familiar giant and familiar faces from the Feedback Loop, and you’ve got a nice comingling of different serial characters across the Proxima Galaxy.
Ryuk is still on the run, hiding from Kodai in both real world and in the Proxima Galaxy. Fortunately, he hooks up with FeeTwix in the RL and Sophia runs her experiments to determine what is causing visions of Proxima to show up in reality. As this is going on, the team aims to collect the three runestones of Tritinakh. Of course, and no spoiler here, Kodai is monitoring and waiting to thwart his brother at the worst possible time.
So, with this installment, you have more of a mix of both worlds, which is comparable with later Feedback Loop installments. What was fun for this reader – pulling in an old foe thought lost. I will say no more on that.
