Gut-wrenching, but fascinating. Stepping away from the horrifying nature of the Nazis' crimes, it's stunning how much of the trials (participants, protocol, etc.) had to be made up on the fly because there simply hadn't ever been a violation of the basic precepts of humanity at this scale before. This is a brief, succinct overview of how the trials unfolded - it could have included more analysis of how these trials impacted the general approach to prosecuting atrocities, which would have made it feel more complete.
