This book had an interesting take on sibling relationships. It was an enjoyable read about twins who were different in every way and how they interact with each other. There was a love interest for both of them but it wasn't really a romance (Well I didn't think so). It was slow to start but it picked up in the end.

Underneath and in between the bad writing, poorly meshed scenes and obviousness is a tidbit of a truth that is worthwhile. It's only a small hint though. Tip of an iceberg thing. Not even sure Benson sees it. But I read it as an introduction on how to newly interpret a current trend of humans being born more highly evolved (we call them autistic). I still got exasperated with how the main character in question was dealt with (naive, childlike and someone to be "handled") by the other characters but the basis for understanding a spirit connected to the universe and their inner divine self in such concrete and indelible ways is presented in this 80s penned book.
