Entertaining witch listening 🎶🔰

This is a free novella e-book from Amazon. This is a three book series the other two are available on kindle unlimited.

He is working at a job his family wants him to join the family organization.

He has to accept a job checking out witches skills in a town. He goes and meets the Walker sisters. They are from a family of witches. Are they causing problems? With the help of the oldest daughter and some romance the investigation moves forward. They learn the truth leading to making changes to the witch.

I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of fantasy witch adventure novels 👍🔰. 2023 👒😀💘🏡

I am looking forward to listening 🎶 to the next two books in the series.

Good plot

This is quite interesting and entertaining. I liked the cheesy feel of horror without the scariness. The suspense was amazing and so was the mystery.

Lex Dimas bachelor extraordinaire, real estate mogul and Agent to the Lost Souls ParaAgency is forced to take on a witch investigation by his grumpy Grandad. With no way of pawning it off on another agent, Lex is set up to create a cover and take on a partner in training; his live in protégé Jordie. The town of Burberry is in the middle of celebrating their strong witch history with a festival, broadening the list of suspects. Under the guise of purchasing real estate in the small town, The Tea Haven, he meets Amira Walker.

Amira Walker and her sisters Ally and Arrisa (Ris) come from a long line of Witches. All three girls couldn’t be anymore different, but the one thing they shared was the need to steer clear of practicing magic. After losing both their parents, Amira took on the role of mother hen. Due to their aunts meddling ways and a curse placed upon their family, the Walker sisters have been labeled spinsters. With 13 months left to be free of her torment, Amira is thrown off guard when the man in the magazine shows up at her shop.

It doesn’t take long for both to become suspicious of each other and Lex tries sticking to Amira like glue. Weary that her meddling aunts have a hand in this unexpected attention, Amira begins to concoct a special spell to distance herself from Lex. Their relationship can be described as zingy yet complicated. In no time they are bound together by magical turns of events and interaction is unavoidable. Amira finds herself pulled into the investigation to bring a bad witch to justice, bringing out the Investigative powers she didn’t know she possessed. The investigation brings to light more than anyone involved would have suspected and it’s a rollercoaster of secrets and revelations.

I for one, cannot wait to see where the road ends for all involved. Hold on to your broomstick and get comfy with your familiars. The Walker Witches and the Lost Soul ParaAgency have more to add to the mystery.

LOVED this book. It had mystery, comedy, suspense and romance. This story is about three sisters and their three meddling aunts. This mainly revolved around the sister Amira. Enter Lex, the grandson of the founder of the LSP. Sparks instantly fly between the two but Amira thinks he's under a love spell from her Aunts so doesn't realize how Lex feels. He thinks she's the bad witch he was sent to find and so doesn't see the true her at first either. I was hoping for and got a HEA. Can't wait to read more in the series!!

This was a cute cozy mystery. I'm not usually a paranormal book fan, but this one was fun and kept you guessing. Lots of intrigue and magic that had you wondering who was behind all of the spells. You have your suspicions, but are you right?

The characters were interesting and quirky...something I liked. While there were romantic sparks flying between Amira and Lex, it was the sparks of magic that made the story sizzle.

Looking forward to the second book in the series.

Thank you to the author for a free copy of the book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Ms. Waller introduces the three Walker witches and their hometown of Burberry. A slow beginning as the town and characters were introduced but picked up momentum about the middle of the book and the end was a great. I'll definitely be reading more in this series.

Cute Story! I don’t usually like stories claiming to be “romance” based, but this one was interesting and wove the romance into the story perfectly. The already interesting characters developed beautifully and I look forward to following the continuing adventures of Lex and Amira.

Location, location, location. From the sweet tea shop to the town green where movies are shown, the places described in the book are where I want to be. Amira is one of those protagonists you really identify with. At the end I felt like the next one is going to be sooo good. The romantic suspense is awesome. Highly recommended!

Three reluctant witches, add an attractive man there to spy on them, and an agency that protects normals against magic. Add a well written narrative and you have a fun story that held my attention and made me smile.

Picked this up at a local book fair recently. It's a delightful cozy romantic mystery! Looking for a fun read, it exceeded my expectations. If you love witchy or paranormal cozies, you won’t want to miss this first book in a new series. It’s well-written, engaging, and kept me turning the pages. Every so often, I like to read a feel-good book and this one kept me smiling for days. Can’t wait for the next one from this talented author!

Fun, magic, mayhem. This book has it all. Love!

A cozy, witchy mystery romance. It’s not your typical murder mystery, but fans of paranormal cozy mysteries are going to love this too, I think. I know I did! This is the second time I’m reading this; it’s THAT kind of book! A fun read!

Lex gets an assignment he doesn’t want. Witches…. ugh. But it turns out to be way more intriguing than he’d ever thought!

Amira is convinced that the handsome real estate mogul who shows up in her tea shop is under a love spell cast by her meddling great-aunts.

A lot of assumptions are made on both sides and they’re mostly wrong. SHE’s convinced HE’s under a love spell, while HE’s convinced SHE’s a witch-with-bad-intentions who needs to be reported to the Council.

And then something happens and Ris is the main suspect; EVERYTHING points to her! Ris, Amira’s youngest sister. Amira won’t have that!

Fun, magic, mayhem. This book has it all. Love!

Hiding in plain sight

A good plot even if the culprit was obvious. Good strong, vibrant characters.
When he is sent on an assignment to track down who is using love spells in a small community, he really didn't think that it would result in him having to work in a tea shop. The sister in charge hasn't yet told her younger siblings that she wants to sell. When she is strongly attracted to Lex, she starts looking for a spell to turn this around. As the three siblings are under a curse - they must fall in love and start a family before their 30th birthday so that the magic can be passed on. Are the three siblings his assignment? Or are there are witches around? When spells are used on people with disastrous effect the two must join forces to find the culprit who is using stolen spell books to get revenge on people that have belittled them? Can they succeed?

This story introduces us to the LSP and the main characters. It focus mainly on the oldest sister, Amira, and her possible love interest. The question is whether the great-aunts had anything to do with it and their 'love shell's. Their reason for them is told in the story.

The lovely mystery part is the bad witch piece that the LSP is trying to find. Can you figure out who it is? This puts Amira and Lex together to solve the problem, but is he under the influence of a 'love spell'?

Great beginning to new series. For me, since I started series with book three, it help give me the family dynamics, character development and hints answered that are mentioned in later stories but not at the depth from the original story.

This my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.

To be a witch or not

Three sisters, witches, witch magic had caused a lot of harm to all the sisters but could they really turn their back on their witch heritage? After their parents both died, the three aunts raised them, but they are some crazy witches. They are adults now and have to find their own way. After asking the aunts to give them some space to find their own paths, they are staying away from magic except for the occasional spell to keep the aunts out of their love lives. In walks tall dark and handsome, he thinks these witches are doing bad magic and has to prove it and stop them. Doing bad magic on humans is not allowed. But what if they are not the witches doing it?

Cute, witchy paranormal romantic mystery

Take three witch sisters, three elderly witchy aunts, thrown in a bad witch and a paranormal investigator who’s handsome and rich and you have the basis for a fun read. Lex is on the hunt for rogue witches, but he has the perp wrong when he focuses on Amira. The two have to put aside their differences and team up to find out who the real bad witch is. Just a fun read with a satisfying ending that leaves the door open for more adventures with the sisters-and Lex. Definitely recommended.

Unexpected

This is not your normal witchy mystery, yes there's magic and witches and good versus bad plus the obligatory love interest but also a lot more. Aside from a great storyline and characters that are so well written that you feel you've known them forever, even with the magic and mayhem the whole book feels real which is not an easy thing to do. I won't even attempt to give you a breakdown of the story as there's so much going on It would be impossible without massive spoilers. Suffice it to say that this is a great read and highly recommend Baz.

A new series that will spark your interest and not let go until you finish the story. But be warned you will be left with wanting more books in this series to read. This is a new series that introduces the three Walker sisters. Witchcraft is in their blood, but not their daily lives. Cannot wait to see what trouble Amira, her sisters and Lex get into next. You will not be sorry you read this book.

Funny story about 3 witches in a small town trying to keep their secret hidden. Their aunts wish them to find someone to continue the bloodline so they cast a curse that makes men fall in love.
How can they trust love when they can't trust their feelings are real or the curse. This alone would make the plot hilarious but there is so much more. You have to read to find out. This is the start of a very interesting serie, for sure. I can't imagine what the next adventure will be.

I loved this book. It is such a fun, paranormal mystery and romance. The book is well written and it has mystery, comedy, suspense and romance. I really like the characters. The relationship both work and romance between Lex and Amira is so cute and sweet. They work well together. I found the mystery interesting and there was enough plot twists to make it difficult to put the book down. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Nice beginning to a series

3 1/2 stars
Author did a great job at getting your attention and keeping it,although about half way through the story kind of “rests” but the. Picks up and moves on. Nice book you’ll want to read book two when you finish.
I can recommend this to my advanced reading preteen friends as there were no sex or harsh words. A few magic tricks but nothing demonic etc.

I’ve somewhat new twist toward witchcraft. It is well worth the read.

The three sisters seem to have a problem with their great aunts. When suddenly the perfect man enters the picture. Who and what is he and why is he there? Perhaps you should read this and enjoy and see for yourself

What a great start to a new series. Lots of fun, quirky characters. I had my guess about the killer early on, but was I right? So many suspects. Fun trying to figure out where all the spells are coming from and learning about the sisters. They are a very likable trio. Already have book 2 on hand to start.

It took me a few days to really get into this book but in the end I enjoyed it. Lev is sent to Burberry to find the witches doing love spells. Instead he finds a situation where a witch is harming people in the town. Ameria’s Sister is accused of the crime and she needs to find out who really did it.

I'm willing to go 3-1/2 stars. The set-up is quite cookie-cutter; like someone set up a checklist for paranormal cozy and ensured this story met all criteria. All that's missing is a talking familiar. The story wasn't bad and the writing was fine. There was just nothing that stood out and wowed me. Going to try book 2 to see which way I fall off the fence.

After reading the latest 2 books in the series, I decided to go back to the beginning. I'm very glad that I did. The Witches of Burberry each have their reasons for practicing their craft, but with a newcomer in town things could change. This book has a good mix of mystery, paranormal activity, and romance. Fans of K. M. Waller will not be disappointed.
