They might make a great team…if they don’t kill each other first.
Cree Manning loves everything about being an attorney…except her colleague, Aaron. He may be an actual prince, but he’s also used to coasting through life on his good looks and status. Aaron's hot enough to melt ice, but his arrogance and more than questionable work ethic drive her up a wall.
His Royal Highness, Aaron Sarda, is third in line to the throne…which means his role in the Kingdom of Medina is mostly ornamental. He hates feeling useless, and working with Cree has taught him that he hates being looked down on even more. Sure, she’s gorgeous, but she’s also rigid, overbearing, and utterly immune to his charm.
The tension between them only gets stronger when Cree and Aaron are partnered on an important case. There’s a big promotion riding on the outcome, so Cree has to keep it together and stay professional. But what is she supposed to do when the temptation to smack Aaron becomes the urgent need to kiss him?
this was probably the worst executed book i a have ever read 😭😭 it’s too funny seeing people rate this more than a 1. the story would’ve been so good if it didn’t feel like a 2 year old was controlling the writing.
Make Me is the first book in the Dirty Royals Series by Kaye Blue. This is a contemporary romance, with plenty of drama and an enemies to lovers element. This is my first read from this author, so I was intrigued by what the story held. Cree Manning and Aaron Sarda are attorneys working for the same law firm. They have been colleagues for the past six years, but they don’t really have a ‘friendly’ relationship. If anything, they both seem to frustrate and annoy the other. Cree thinks Aaron coasts by on his name, status and looks- as the office golden boy he can seem to do no wrong, putting in a minimal effort. She on the other hand works incredibly hard and is quite passionate about her work. So, everything about Aaron antagonizes her- but she bites her tongue and remains as civil as she can. After all she is a professional. Though, she can’t help baiting him from time to time. Aaron is office royalty, literally. He’s the third in line to the throne of the kingdom of Medina. As the third son his chances of ascending the throne are almost nil, which suits him as becoming king wasn’t what he wanted anyway. Not that he really knew what he wanted to do with his life. He decided on law school as something to do, and it was a complete fluke that he graduated and then pure luck to be offered a position at a law firm. Aaron can’t figure out why Cree dislikes him so much. He is well liked by everyone else in the firm, except Cree. He finds her both irritating and interesting, and he really wants to find a way to figure her out. He appreciated her brilliance and competence, but he also really enjoyed pushing her buttons. When a special project is announced, with billions of dollars at stake, and a partnership in the firm as incentive- Cree and Aaron find themselves collaborating and competing for the promotion. Will these two find a common ground and be able to keep things purely professional? Or will being pitted against each other become very personal? This was a great introduction to Ms. Blue’s work. It was entertaining and easy to read. It was a little slow in places, but overall, I enjoyed the story. I would definitely read the rest of the series.
Make Me (Dirty Royals Book 1) by Kaye Blue is the first book in her Dirty Royals series. This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. This is a contemporary romance story that will keep you engaged until the last page. I enjoyed how this author was able to pull me into the story from the first chapter until the end. I also enjoyed how she wrote this book in both perspectives of the characters. I got to see what each character was thinking which helped with the easy flow of the story. Her characters are both lovable and connectable. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I couldn't put down. I found myself wanted to yell at them a few times, asking them what were they thinking. There is even some twists and turns in this story that left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. This is the story of Cree and Aaron. Cree loves her job as an attorney. The only downside is that she has to work with Aaron. He is a prince who has looks and status. He drives her crazy! Aaron, can't help who he is. He doesn't like feeling useless and certainly can't handle being looked down on. She drives him crazy! Tensions intensify when they are forced to work together on a project. A big promotion is what is at risk here but it could be something more then just work at risk. What will happen when the temptation comes knocking at their door? I enjoyed both of these characters. They both are strong, independent and have attitudes. They both fight their attraction for each other but they are so great together. Aaron does have some control issues and is use to getting what he wants and when he wants it. They have such great chemistry together, I know that I kept hoping they would get it together. The secondary characters are supportive and connectable as well. They add to the story to help make it flow with ease. I highly recommend reading this book. Don't miss what happens to Aaron and Cree!
When I heard Royals I expected the brothers to be...well, more royal, lol. But having met all 3 princes, I like that they're not all stuffy and buttoned up. I mean, they are royalty, but they don't take themselves too seriously.
Aaron and Cree's story had a bit of a fairytale feel to it, which was nice. But I must admit, with this being a Kaye Blue novel, I kept expecting a bad guy to jump out and Aaron to whip out a gun. I love her bad boys! This was a really nice change of pace, though. Looking forward to Take Me!
Make Me (Dirty Royals #1) by Kaye Blue 4 out of 5 stars Make me is the first book in the Dirty royals series and the first book by Ms. Blue that I have read. The first part of this book was long going but I never stop reading a book and I’m glade I didn’t stop reading this story because I enjoyed this book. The characters where well developed and the way they played off of each other and the sparked that they had. Cree Manning loves everything about being an attorney except for her colleague Aaron. He is an actual prince, but he’s also used to coasting through life on his good looks and status. Aaron's hot enough to melt ice, but his arrogance and more than questionable work ethic drive her up a wall. His Royal Highness, Aaron Sarda, is third in line to the throne, which means his role in the Kingdom of Medina is mostly ornamental. They might make a great team, if they don’t kill each other first or rip their clothes off. This is a decent read and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Blue has in-stored for us in the next book in this series. By
Make Me by Kaye Blue is the first book in her Dirty Royals series and it was a definitely a fun read. Make Me follows the story of Cree and Aaron, who couldn't be bigger opposites and yet the animosity between them makes them work really well together. Cree can't stand Aaron for his cocky ease, how everything seems to go his way. Cree has dealt with men like that her whole life and it just rubs her the wrong way. Aaron on the other hand is trying hard to do the littlest work possible, avoiding his life as a royal and by pure luck continues to garner the favor of the gods with job offers and work success. But when they are forced to work together the sparks will fly, causing Cree to reevaluate Aaron and Aaron to see that putting his heart and soul into something may just get him the best reward of all. There were several bumps in the relationship along the way but in the end they ended up right where they were supposed to. Blue is a new to me author, and I am so happy to have found her work. The characters were pretty well developed and the story line was nice. I would have liked to have seen more romance and less hem hawing between the characters who were supposed to use their voices for a living. But other than that I really like this book. I can't wait to see how the series grows from here, and I already have several of her other books on my list of books to read in the future.
Make Me by Kaye Blue is the first book in the Dirty Royal series. I did find this book a bit slow to start but understand the scene really needs to be set for the series. The book does then build up throughout with lots of moments of questioning what will happen to the characters relationship. The characters are both attachable but totally in their own separate rights. The book reads well and it is a great start to a series.
The story follows two main characters. The first is Cree, she is an attorney. Cree is one of those people who always achieve excellence, which is how she has landed up so successful. She adores her job and is inline for a promotion. Unluckily for Cree there is one downside to her job, that's Aaron! Aaron is royalty (third in line to be precise), he is arrogant but unfortunately extremely hot and knows it! Cree has to work with Aaron on a daily basis which is putting her patience to the test.
With an upcoming promotion all Cree wants is to get her head down and concentrate, the only problem is the other candidate for the huge promotion is Aaron. She tries all her might to focus on work and not what she would like to be doing to Aaron, which is difficult not to be distracted by. As the relationship between them develops so does the complexity of what feelings they have been hiding.
Make Me is the first book in Kaye Blue Dirty Royals series. I had read her Thornehill Spring series before tackling Make Me and as I absolutely loved, loved the Thornehill Spring series then my expectations were high indeed … especially considering it was the enemies to lovers story taking place in the high stake world of law firms and royalty … Make Me is the story of Cree Manning who has worked hard to get where she is at in her law firm, one step away from the potential partnership, and of Aaron Sarda who is the third in line to the throne of the kingdom of Medina and he had decided to study law as something to do … total opposites, right? Aaron is well liked in the office but for some reason, Cree just cannot stand him and then … a special project is announced with billions of dollars at stake and … partnership in the firm as an incentive and these two need to work together … can they keep it professional and pull it off or will the attraction that is bubbling under the surface be their undoing … Well, for you to find out, you need to pick up a copy! I loved Kaye’s writing in the Thornehill Spring series and I found Make Me a bit slow and struggled a bit to finish it. I am curious though to see what the second book in the series will be like as the secondary characters in the story were really intriguing!
Make Me by Kaye Blue is the first book in her Dirty Royals series. This is the first book that I have read by this author but it certainly won’t be the last.
Cree is living the dream, perfect job, potential promotion..... and arrogant jerk of a work colleague. What more could she want? She loves her work but having to put up with Aaron on a daily basis is certainly testing her patience. And yet she can’t let it get to her - the arrogance, the annoyance, the pure chemistry between them. She has to keep her focus if she wants this promotion, and not focus on how much she wants to kiss him. Aaron might be a prince but it is in name only. Being 3rd in line pretty much guarantees that he won’t ever be on the throne. Which is fine by him as long as he is useful. Working at the firm gives him that sense of purpose. So what if Cree looks down on him, he can prove her wrong. Or he can kiss her senseless. At this point he isn’t sure which he would prefer.
I thought this book was a great introduction not only to this series but to this author. It was a great read that you could easily lose yourself in for a few hours. The characters were enjoyable and the writing carried you along on their journey. Overall a very enjoyable book.
Make Me is the first in the Dirty Royals Book Series.
It stars a prince who is third in line to the throne of his Kingdom. An Heir, a spare and then there's Aaron. Cree is an attorney who loves what she does and is super comfortable in her body and her spirit. Aaron and Cree have worked together for a while and she doesn't care WHAT his lineage is, she just wants him to do a good job and she wants what she deserves.
The banter between Cree and Aaron is, at times, really cutesy and other times super frustrating. Aaron has an air of entitlement about him that he perpetuates with his behavior both at work and in his personal life. I felt differently for each of them as the book progressed. By the end of the story I was cheering them both on.
I enjoyed many things about this book. The relationship Aaron has with her siblings. The friendships that Cree has and the fact that there is a satisfactory ending to the story yet leaves me wanting more and waiting patiently for the Book 2 to come out.
I had never read anything from this author before, and I enjoy her writing style and the way she plots a story.
Make Me (Dirty Royals Series) By Kaye Blue 4 Stars
Kaye Blue is another new author for me and after reading some of the blurbs from her other books I was excited to get started with this book. Make Me is the first in the Dirty Royals story and involves, well, royalty. But if you are expecting Prince Harry or Prince William this is not the story for you.
Make Me, follows the story of Cree and Aaron. Aaron, although a prince is not stuffy, stuck up prince I was expecting. He is a hardworking, down to earth guy that holds a regular job. So, I guess I wasn’t that surprised when meeting Cree as she is not the “stereotypical” gal that would draw a prince. She’s your average girl next door with wit and humor. Having worked together they both have their opinion of each other and it was amusing to watch them try to come together to work on a project.
While the story was very upbeat and amusing at times, I did find that a lot of the book seemed repetitious. Like the characters were playing the same part and expecting a different outcome. If you’re looking for just a fun read to pass the time, this may be the book for you.
Make Me was a good 4 star read. This is Cree and Aaron’s story and book one in the Dirty Royals series.
Cree is an attorney that wants to make partner someday at her firm. Aaron is royalty and is also an attorney at the same firm. There has always been some tension between Cree and Aaron, he always seemed to put off a lot of arrogance which Cree despised.
When these two are paired up to work on a project that will help determine who will get the big promotion, things start to get interesting. They are discovering that there is more than hatred brewing, more like an attraction that they eventually give in to. These two have some very steamy moments. And the whole time they are both experiencing feelings they have never had before.
Who will get the promotion? What kind of future will they have?
This is a good enemies to lovers read, it started out a little slow for me but I was very pleased with the story and how it ended. I liked getting both POV’s, so we could see what each of them were thinking. I feel like we could hopefully see some more from these two in the future. The secondary characters were great, I’m looking forward to Dallas’s story next.
Make Me (Dirty Royals book 1) By Kaye Blue 4 stars
This was a great introduction for me to Kaye Blue as an author. I have to admit I was instantly drawn to the book by the cover something that doesn’t happen to me a lot. I also kind of have a thing for books about royalty – I think it taps into my dream as a child of marrying a prince and living in a fairy tale castle! I really did enjoy this book – from the very beginning I could feel the sexual tension between and whilst it did take me a little while to get into the story once I did I couldn’t put it down. I really liked the author’s character development, they were well thought out I felt. This added to the good storyline and eventual pace made for a really solid 4 star read for me. I really liked Cree I thought that she was down to earth and I love the way she stood up to Aaron! Aaron was definitely one of those love to hate characters! He was hot and sexy and he knew it – he also oozed arrogance!! Make Me is a well written and enjoyable 4 star read! I would definitely recommend it!
Make Me by Kaye Blue is such a great 5 Star romance! I was so drawn into the characters and the story that I finished in one day!
Aaron, or prince Aaron’s character at first kind of annoyed me. He would always pick on Cree, but I love when I saw the moment he showed interest in her and then just teased her so he could be around her and get attitude from her. Cree is a very well written character, I loved everything about her. She is confident in what she wants and considers herself to be average looking and more plus sized.
Watching these two and their relationship blossom is so awesome and there were plenty of times I wished both of them would just tell the other how they felt. When Aaron made a career changing sacrifice for Cree I knew the time was coming for them to finally admit their feelings out loud, but not before a little heart churning moments.
Overall a fantastic book. The authors writing style is easy to follow and engaging. I couldn’t help but fall in love with this whole story and I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
Make Me by Kaye Blue is the first book in the Dirty Royals series and follows the lives of Cree and Aaron where they are at each other throats but will they kill each other or fall for each other it could swing either way.
He's a prince with a privilege life, not really interest in the family business so to speak but his job within the law firm both his brothers and father think he is just passing time.
Cree loves being an attorney, she excels in everything she does until one day her worst fear comes true she is pitted against enemy no 1, his highness Aaron in a big bid for multi billion dollars project, the only thing will be will they survive.
I did enjoy the story although I felt it took a while to get going. The character of Cree frustrated me sometimes but overall I enjoyed the interaction between her and Aaron, with the tension building up within the story. This is the first book I have read by this author and although this story was okay I would like to read more from this author in the future.
Make Me is the first book in the Dirty Royal series by Kaye Blue. This is the first book I've read by Kaye Blue and it thought it was well written. It had all sorts of drama with some enemy to lover's romance thrown in.
Aaron and Cree are co workers. They are attorneys that work at the same law firm. Their friendship, or lack there of, is rough to say the least. They annoy and antagonize one another. Aaron is gorgeous and has the whole world at his fingertips because he's royal. He's third in line for the thrown. Cree believes he uses he status just to skate through life where she has worked hard for everything she has. Aaron finds her captivating. He can't figure her out and she's the only one that doesn't falls at his feet per se.
The competition heats up between the two when a promotion is at stake. They both want it and they'll both fight for it. When they're stuck working together the sparks get even hotter.
This was a great start to a new series. I enjoyed the writing and the storyline and I'm excited to see what the rest of the series has to offer!
Make Me is the first book in the Dirty Royals Series by Kaye Blue and is a contemporary romance story. Don’t they say there is a fine line between love and hate! Well in this book we see plenty of drama and sparks flying as we watch enemies face off and gradually see more in each other than they ever have.
When you have always had things given to you on a silver platter, you wonder where you fit in life, in love, in yourself but also in your family. When you have been bought up to hide your feelings it is hard to say the thing that is the most important.
When you have always fought for what you want, is it any surprise your best would never have made a difference to the decision being made.
Kaye has started out with a bang with this book which is easy to read and well written but also entertaining. I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next book in the series.
I give 5 stars to Make Me (Dirty Royals Book 1) written by Kaye Blue.
This is a first read for me from this author and I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this read so it definitely will not be my last.
Cree Manning has the perfect life, she's living her dream as a attorney, so what more could she want oh yeah the promotion thats coming up, except her colleague Aaron and his arrogant ways, stands in the way, with him being a prince she does not understand why he wants to keep working as a attorney.
Aaron Sarda is third in line to take over the royal throne of Kingdom of Medina, which he's sure won't be in his lifetime, so instead of just laying around and feeling useless he works as attorney but to also wind up his work colleague. With him pushing Cree’s feelings in to overdrive, from wanting to slap him silly to wanting to do the unbelievable thing of kissing him can they both stay professional enough to get to the end of this massive case.
What a delightfully entertaining story Make Me was. I really was taken in and swept away by these charismatic characters. They were constantly amusing and provided me with hours of biting, angsty shenanigans. Kaye Blue is a mew author, and one I was thrilled to discover.
Make Me was a story surrounding Cree and Aaron. Both attorneys who despise one another, making this story highly ridiculously spirited and sassy. The fireworks were blinding whenever these two personalities clashed. It was a ride I never wanted to end. They fought over absolutely everything, and they were a disaster waiting to happen. But what a beautiful catastrophe they were.
Make Me was a witty and enlightening read. I recommend it to all lovers who love to become absorbed in a well written and addictive tale. 4 stars
Make Me by Kaye Blue Stars:4 This is the first book in the series Dirty Royals. This story follows Cree and Prince Aaron. Love at first sight is definitely not this book. Cree and Aaron are thrown together and their adventure begins. They go through ups and downs, but their relationship grows and gets stronger. Their chemistry was great, and it was so easy to root for them. Each makes mistakes, but that helps them be relatable. Cree has found purpose and direction in her life. She is strong female character. Aaron is handsome, but had found less direction and purpose than Cree. I loved that we get both characters point of view in this story. The one thing that I would have liked to have seen was a epilogue to tell us about the in the future……but oh well. Hopefully, the second book will provide me with updates about them.
Make Me by Kaye Blue is a fantastic read! It’s the first book in the Dirty Royals series. This is my first book from this author, but it certainly won’t be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed this read from start to finish, it was funny, sweet, full of sexual tension and it had the perfect amount of detail.
Cree and Aaron’s relationship could easily be described as love/hate, my favorite type. They’re a dynamic duo, Cree is successful, brilliant, stubborn, and deserving. Aaron is confident, resourceful and very misunderstood. I really liked how Kaye developed these characters, because I will admit it did take me some time to connect with Aaron but the further into the story I got the more I found myself connecting with him in a way that really added to my reading experience.
Make Me ( A Dirty Royals Novel Book 1 ) By Kaye Blue ⅘ Stars
Make Me is Book One in A Dirty Royal Series by Kaye Blue. This is my first time reading this author and it won’t be my last! This is an adult contemporary romance novel, with a lot of enemy to friends elements. Cree and Aaron are both attorneys working at the same law form. They’ve been working together for the past six years. But they don’t have much of a friendship beyond work. Even at work, they’re pretty much just civil to one another. They seem to know which buttons to push on each other, they are constantly annoyed and mad at one another. This is a great and easy read. Well written, with entertaining and intriguing characters. The banter between the two characters is quite hilarious at times. It just proves, opposites DO attract… sometimes!! Great job, Kaye.. I’m looking forward to what’s next!
This is my first read by the author and I can say I'll be reading more work by her in the future, thats for sure. I really enjoyed Aaron and cree's character, although cree felt a little atypical kinda hot nerdy girl at the office with insecure thoughts that float by I still enjoyed her character development in the book and her wit and thoughts. I enjoyed Aaron even more he's very self aware but not what you'd think when u look from a far. I enjoyed their thoughts about each and the subtle shifting of their relationship in the book. I thought the competition was the perfect push and pull to get them to light that spark they have. I loved the plot, characters, writing style and the way it was contructed this is def a book worth reading and then some!
This book had nothing going for it. A prince working in a law firm and normal woman working there too. He thinks she is uptight and she thinks he has life handed to him on a silver platter. They are paired together on a work assignment and end up go to bed together after a horribly contrived and pointless argument. Love happens but she gets no credit for the work project and he gets a job offer. The characters are as interesting as watching paint dry, the secondary characters are not used effectively to add texture or move the storyline along, and the book is just boring. I've read a couple of this author's books and this critique could be applied to most any of them. I think I'll skip Ms. Blue's work going forward.
Make Me is the first book in the Dirty Royals series by author Kaye Blue. In it we meet lawyer Cree Manning and Prince of Medina, Aaron Sarda. The two work together at a law firm, and while everyone there seems to put Aaron on a pedestal Cree does not, she’s actually kind of tough on him but she has her reasons. The two are thrown together in a competition to win a top spot at their firm and the sparks fly. What lengths will they go to win the prize? This is a new author for me and while the book started slowly for me and most of the interactions were at work, I did find myself enjoying the story. I look forward to learning more about the Sarda princes in the future books of this series.
I have read several books by this author and have always loved her writing style. Make me is the first book in the Dirty Royals series. This book is about two lawyers who have always viewed each other as adversaries but have always had a layer of sexual tension. These two find themselves having to work closely to each other and man do the verbal Sparks fly. Cree is the heroine and she does not hold her sass at all. Then there is Aaron who acts like royalty because he is royalty. The fun part is Cree doesn't care if he's a prince or not! This book was slow at times but over all very enjoyable!
Make Me is the first book in the Dirty Royals series and my first book by Kaye Blue. This was quite enjoyable enemies to lovers’ romance.
Cree Manning and Aaron Sarda are co-workers who are in a competition to win an account; the best proposal is made partner at their law firm. They need to find a way to work together and stop pushing each other buttons. The more they argue and stare each other down, more the sexual sparks fly. These two some amazing chemistry and this prince is a dirty boy.
Overall, I really liked this book; the beginning was a slow burn than it was non-stop heat. Till the next Dirty Royal comes out, I might be checking out Kaye other series.
Make Me ( A Dirty Royals Novel Book 1) by Kaye Blue. This is a new author as well as series for me. Cree absolutely loves being an attorney. The only downside is her colleague, Aaron. Sure she thinks he is attractive but there is no way that she will be taking it easy in him just because he is royalty. Aaron might be a prince but he loves that his is away from his family, doing what he loves. If only everyone didn’t look down on him. When they are paired to work together on a multi-million dollar bid for the firm, will Cree be able to work alongside Aaron calmly or will her attraction win?
Book Review: Make Me ( A Dirty Royals Novel ) Author: Kaye Blue Four Stars Make Me is the 2nd book that I have read that is written by Kaye Blue. The first was Tease Me which is actually the second book in the Dirty Royals Novel series. I read them in opposite in the way that Ms. Blue released them but there really wasn't much of anything that spoiled this first book for me. In Make Me, Cree and Aaron are colleagues in the same law firm and are not the best of friends. Matter of fact Cree isn't at all fond of Aaron and he is determined to change her mind, but at what cost? This book is an enemies to lovers and was well written but the story seemed to drag in places. Kelli Harper
