Kaitlyn MacDonald. Your typical nerd. Shy, smart, and more than a little bit awkward. Tutors for extra credit, even though she doesn't need it.
Drew McCarthy. Your typical bad boy. Basketball jock, extremely attractive, and has more girls' numbers than missing homework. And he never does his homework.
When Drew gets into grade trouble and his basketball career is in danger, he has two options. One, he can either give up basketball and allow his grades to drop more, or two, he can get tutored to stay eligible for sports. Naturally, he chooses the second one. And his tutor? None other than Kaitlyn MacDonald.
HE TURNED DOWN MIT??! A GIRL WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MIT??! Bro, you need to get your priorities straight!! I just can't digest this ... I'll need more time to process this.🤦♀️🤦♀️
Loved this sweet fake relationship romance. Ginny and Kaleb are so sweet. They have amazing chemistry together. Kaleb is so understanding and far from a bad boy. Highly recommend
The synopsis with this book is all wrong this book is about Caleb and Ginny. I liked the book I wish Good reads would fix this mistake. I reported it many months ago and still nothing.
-‘“Other than Mrs. Yates and maybe my dad, no one in this town cares about me. I know you don’t. My one dream is to be an architectural engineer. The only way that happens is by getting my grade up in Mrs. Yates’s class. She said she’ll give me a college recommendation letter. She said that letter depends solely on my dedication to her class. That’s the only reason I’m willing to be tutored.”‘-
An over-controlling mother/school principal who things all men are evil, a misunderstood, rebellious, teenage boy who just wants a fair chance at reaching his career goals, and a girl trying to break free and live her own dreams... This is a clean romance suitable for all ages. I recommend it.
At first, I thought that it was a cute story but that I had maybe grown out of the typical charm of high school stories. Oh boy was I wrong! :D This story had surprisingly multiple twists and turns that I did not see coming and hit me pretty hard. My favorite part of the second half of the book was them rebuilding movie scenes from one of my favorite teen movies '10 Things I hate about you' and it delivered with its iconic new twist of the poem scene!!! After that, it was a bit too rushed with the epilogue but also added a nice ending to the whole story, so I gave it a total of 4 stars.
This book was so good from betrayal to love to enemies and just trying to figure out life. I am not normally a romance person but this book was so good.
